Weren't greeted at the door--staff seemed more interested in their card game than helping customers. Most of them gave me looks like I was bothering them. Only one person in the back welcomed me and made me feel comfortable. When I asked about checking out some figures, one staff member said it was "closed," but it felt like she just wanted to get back to her game. It's Wednesday, and online hours say they're open from 11:45 AM through 7:00 PM. Arrived at 2:45 to locked doors and staff (presumably) that informed me they open at 4:00 PM. Hours posted online indicate that the only day they open as late as 4:00 PM is Thursday. Update your online information accordingly so that people don't waste their time. Completely threw off my day, and wish I would have chosen elsewhere. read more

I used to purchase cards from them years ago when they were located in Van Nuys. This new location is at least twice the size of the old location, they have bigger inventory, more types of card games and collectibles than before, even some rare and older collectibles. Prices are alright, they have tons of options, people play card games in the store tables, they got snacks and claw machines. It's a pretty nice place to go. read more

My husband and I love this store as it has what we each love. They have his YuGiOh cards and my FUNKO Pops. It's been amazing to see their growth. I brought my kids here to look for pops. It has pops you cannot find anywhere else and their selection was massive. To my surprise, it had a shoe consignment store called Off the Market. We ended up buying a bear brick unplanned amongst other collectibles. They also had rare Pokémon and Yugioh cards for sale. Upon entering, there were several tournaments for the die hard gamers. For collectors and gamers, this is the place to be. The workers there were super knowledgeable of their products and it was a great first visit for my kids and I. He just blew me off and said he didn't really need the money and he has thousands of the products that he would rather auction off at a higher price. The employees treat their customers like you're a part of their family. They'll greet you with a smile, they'll try their best to find what you're looking for, they'll even fight for you, like the time they reported this lady who worked in the same plaza that harassed one of the customers due to a parking spot. Kingfandom went out of their way to make sure the customer never had to go through something like this, reported the lady, and made sure the customer felt safe. This store is friendly like family, makes you feel safe not only from the virus but from harassment as well, and makes sure you get what you're looking for. Many stores like this got a limited supply of Champion's path and have gotten bad reviews for something that was out of their control. Seeing how even the pokemon company tweeted about the shortage showed me that stores really did have a limited supply. I was patient and was told that there would be a resupply of it in November and they even have me the option to keep my preorder and roll it over to the next resupply. I intend to return to this store for more reasons than one. To begin with, a customer service feedback we had was handled quite professionally by the manager (named Carlos.) The store: It is super cool, organized, unique and spacious with tables on which young groups were socializing. The items included but not limited to, Pokémon cards, figurings and other collectables. Our personal experience: Upon entrance a friendly young girl greeted us. My son (just turns 11), has been excited to visit this store and walking in he was looking around as if he's in Disneyland. My daughter went straight to the back and my son went straight to the counter in the attempt to trade some cards with even just one preferred card. We knew there'd be a chance they would not be exchangeable but he was hopeful, to say the least. Thankfully there was no customers waiting so he walked up to find out how things worked there. The clerk who handled my son's cards was a bit unfriendly (could have had a bad day) and told him his cards were "bulk and worthless." That's all that was said. I know that this was part of the terminology used there. But being that it was my son's first time exchanging cards other than with his fifth grader friends, and also the tone of those few words, he walked up to me with his face red and wanted to leave. In the car he expressed what a bad idea it was to exchange cards that are not rare and that he never wanted to go back. I called and spoke with the manager, Carlos in the attempt to give perspective from a child's first visit there. Carlos was more than understanding, appreciated the feedback and that it matters to them how everyone who comes there finds their experience to be a nice one. He offered that if my son changed his mind and wanted to come back, he'd arrange for someone to explain how the economy of the cards were measured at King Fandom. I just told my son about what the manager had said and asked if he'd go back. He said "maybe". And to me, that's getting back on the horse instead of defeat. Businesses aren't perfect, but how they trouble shoot makes the difference of wanting to return or not and I appreciated that about King Fandom. read more

COVID review. Staff here is great. They take temperature and sanitize all surfaces. Ready sanitizer pumps available. Plenty of otaku figures and POPS! For all kind of collectors. They also have a wide variety for card game products as well. The plaza can be hard to miss but there's plenty of parking for the complex. read more

I was searching high and low around my neighborhood for the latest Yugioh booster box but after looking through multiple Target, GameStop, Walmart etc. to no results. I manage to found this place through yelp and it was awesome. They had almost all the latest booster box available with room to spare. The price is also reasonable compare to buying them online. I went on a Saturday and they also have table ready for anyone want to play card games and the place was quite packed.
