    Jerk Chicken (Small)
    Fredricka S.

Spotted the food truck when we stopped for gas and decided to check them out. Their portion size is large even the small size and the service was vert good as the server was friendly. We had jerk chicken with peas & rice and cabbage; sautéed shrimp, Mac & cheese and cabbage then the other dinner ordered with a sides dinner (Mac & cheese, cabbage, peas & rice and plantains). We each enjoyed our food. Would recommend stopping by!

I'm in LOVE this place is my go-to jerk spot from here on out. Moved from Orlando and as I was it's to Jackson's soul food which was closed I saw the truck smoking the line lengthy and cars busting illegal Uturns so I followed my nose.... turns out my nose and stomach agree upon each other. Cust service was impeccably Caribbean and sweet thanks guys for your service and puttin ya foot in it I featured you all on my iG @juice_y3ll0wdiam0nd I approve this message jerk chicken and Mac-N-cheese on POINT

Service was so friendly! However, my tastebuds were not fulfilled. The meat was dry and the jerk sauce was just okay. I really wish that the seasoning was more explosive.

All that for $7 bii.. That's a "small" jerk chicken

Huge plates for even their smalls.. A jerk chicken w rice and peas and a corn on the cob for only $7.. Never had a bad meal here. Jerk Pork is amazing, jerk chicken amazing.. Make sure to ask em to throw some sauce all around it if you like it real spicy. They make it in a PIT (the way you're supposed to lol)..All I gotta say is this is some of the best jerk chicken I've had in my life, and they hook it up. This place'll be real famous in like 3-6 months tops, mark my words bii

The best bbq truck so far!!

It's at a gas station so parking is crappy. Great taste, the jerk chicken is the best. Must get the Mac n cheese. I don't know if others will b this good. Great portions. The workers are friendly. I'm definitely a loyal customer from now on. It's worth every penny.

A lot of food for 11 bucks. It's quick and the food is very good. I'd surely recommend it. Eating leftovers now after leaving the night life

I sat at the bar which was readily available and quickly greeted given a menu. The place is quaint in size but big in personality, and they have more seating than you'd anticipate from the outside. I appreciated the size of the menu, a variety of options, but not too large, and they had special brunch menu offerings for the weekend. I got a beer and the fried fish sandwich. The fish was flaky and perfectly cooked, and somehow, despite it being deep friend, it wasn't the least bit greasy! The bun was squishy, and the slaw was a glorious addition. Oh and the fries? I could've eaten another portion they were sweet, salty, crispy, soft: perfection. So ya, in case you didn't catch on: 5 for sure, and I WILL be back.

You walk in and immediately feel that local, unpretentious energy that's been missing from a lot of the scene. Do I love that it's on Biscayne? Not really. But the food more than makes up for it. For a bar-style environment, the food is consistently very good. Not just "good for a bar" ... like its actually good. The burger is a must (im pescatarian but my friend said it was delicious!) and their Eggs Benedict at brunch is easily one of my favorites in the area. Pair it with a Bloody Mary and you're set. their happy hour pricing is refreshingly reasonable, which is rare around here. I was talking to one of the bartenders and found out even their bread is made in-house. That kind of consistency and care, especially at these price points, is not easy to maintain and you can feel it in the food. It seems that their leadership (owner or manager, not totally sure) has always been present when I've gone and brings a great energy to the space. It trickles down to the staff and the overall vibe. You feel welcomed!!! I this is the kind of place that deserves real support. It's local, it's consistent, it's affordable, and it actually feels like a community spot -- something Miami desperately needs more of.

My eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon was nice and crisp. My guests ordered fried conch, which was golden brown and tender, but the highlight was the shrimp and waffles! It was so good, I ordered a side of shrimp to go! This is a very casual, Caribbean/soul food restaurant. The food is good and our service was excellent. Can't wait to go back!

This time, we showed up around 2pm, the oxtails were cooked- so she ordered the oxtails and grits, I ordered the shrimp and grits. Can I tell you how disappointed I was?!? This plate of shrimp and grits, the cream sauce looked like it had been reheated from frozen in the microwave. It looked a little curdled. I'm always down for an adventure- so I ate it. The taste wasn't bad, it just wasn't really good. Sad to say- it was mid at best. Plus, the shrimp still had the tails on. Imagine that! My sister said the oxtails weren't cooked enough- she had to cut the meat off the bones. Hopefully this was just a really off day. Based on my first experience, maybe I should stick to morning visits.. but I'm sure I'll return.
