I ordered my food today at 1:45 and understood there would be a 30/40 minute delivery. I accepted the additional time as I literally live 2 maybe 300 meters away. I got the notification saying my order was out for delivery and seeing that the rider hadn't moved for 20 minutes I figured there could be something wrong I hit the call rider button and here is a summary of what happened. - called driver, driver said he never worked for Nandos or deliveroo - I called Nandos customer service, 1st girl hung up, 2nd person the call failed and the 3rd person dealt with my query. - Eriksen the 3rd agent, offered a refund of £6, which is poor seeing as the food arrived cold and half the contents were spilled in the bag Or the wrappers were ripped. - the driver who delivered at 3.05pm apologised and said he only just got the order and apologised for the ripped outer bag. All in all this has to be the worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant. At least at McDonald's or kfc you expect some poor service as they are priced accordingly, but Nandos talk about a rolls Royce level priced product and deliver a Skoda. I paid £50-60 for cold food, ripped bags on the corn on a cob and spilled chips and then Eriksen offered me £6. I'm sorry if you think that's good enough but it ain't. On the call I told Eriksen don't bother delivering the food and give me a full refund and it was obvious when the delivery driver arrived you pushed someone else's order to the side to get this over and charge for an absolute dog hit dinner. Now I have my nieces looking at me thinking this is what Nandos is all about. Yes I do want compensation, what you delivered was probably good for a homeless person (and that's no putting down homeless people) but when you pay that sum of money for absolute tripe I expect nothing but a full refund. Please let me know what you will be offering. Genuinely can't believe what you have delivered today and the level of excuses, the hang ups and the lies you have told me. It's so beneath you that it's shocked me.

The quality of my food was OK - the mash tasted like your standard frozen, cheap mash you'd get from certain places but the rest of it was okay, the portion of chips was decent and they did taste fresh and not preheated, the chicken was cooked to satisfactory level however their was a slight amount of excess sauce. This is pretty much your average branch of Nando's, it isn't a fantastic branch, nor is it a terrible one either, some aspects to improve could be to increase the amount of seating, perhaps try to reduce the service time down a little and to slightly improve the quality of all menu items from a satisfactory level to a good/excellent one in terms of the chicken and a drastically improved one, in regards to the "creamy mash", introducing free wi-fi to this store would also be a bonus for when the signal is quite dreadful, which is often the case on a match-day with so many people trying to use it at once - but overall this branch is decent/satisfactory in a handy location to warrant a three-star rating.

After contemplating the chili chicken massala and lamb tikka massala, I ventured out with the chicken lazzati and was not disappointed. The dish was quite mild, and should pose no problems to most diners. The naan was large and tasty; not the best I've ever had but quite good. I especially loved the filling in the lamb samosas. Time from order to delivery was a respectable 45 minutes, and the food was hot. If ordering delivery, be sure to specify if you will be paying with plastic, as the driver didn't bring a swiping device.

We thought a curry would suit so went into Omars where we were immediately shown to the last available table in the house at that time which gives an indication of it's popularity. We were attended by a very well presented waiter who was able to put us at some ease and recommend both starters and main courses to us having little idea ourselves of the content or flavour of a very varied Indian cuisine on the menu. We ordered wine and leisurely ate the papadums and sauces whilst waiting for the starters. The garlic mushrooms were fine and very tasty, however my friend's samosas were rather overdone and so crisp as to be considerably resistant to the sharp knife supplied but on making a compalint a replacement dish was quickly served along with profuse apologies and the dish proved very enjoyable. The main courses as recommended were a Dhansak and a Jalfrezi served with mushroom rice and Naan bread. The mains were served from hot metal bowls and were absolutely delicious. I had some misgivings about a jalfrezi being too spicey for my taste but it was beautifully flavoured to just the right level and the dhansak was just as delicious as were the mushroom rice and naan bread which we shared. On settling our account we were offered a complimentary liquer and great interest was shown in our satisfaction on the evening's fayre. Saturday nights one expects a good restaurant to be busy and some waiting involved giving time to anticipate the pleasures of the dish ordered and in all we were more than pleased with the cuisine and service. Finally the price was perfectly acceptable given the surroundings, attention, service and concern in this establishment which offers a personal atmosphere with the tables set in different rooms not one noisy mass dining room. Extremely enjoyable and well worth a return visit if ever I am that way again from Lancashire.
