This is the worst excuse for a Grocery Store that I have ever been forced to use... in my small town we have very few choices and I, to, wish someone would buy them out... I'm a senior citizen and their prices are sky high to the point of being highway robbery! Fruits and vegetables are an important part of my diet and the prices and quality for these products are terrible... the meat selection is worse... prepackaged and low quality... I have spoken to various members of their staff and I have found them to be very nice, helpful and equally discouraged in King Kullen's business philosophy... I would ask that "we" shoppers not take out our frustrations on the employees (they are doing the best they can under their circumstances)... Stop and Shop is a little ways away but I guess that's my best option... read more

Terrible Deli department. Over charged on a sandwich. You have to have eyes in back of your head. Inconsistant. One day it was packed the next it was half the size. Shop elsewhere. Buyer beware. read more

King Kullen center Moriches is an excellent bakery. When I need a beautifully decorated cake for a special occasion or holiday this is my bakery of choice. The items are always fresh and taste great. The display kept extremely clean and well organized. With the holidays approaching, I will be a frequent visitor. read more

Cashier was too busy preening her hair to even greet me. Went through the ringing up ritual. There was some snag with my debit card. Transaction was not finalizing. Had to tell the preener, maybe you should call a manager. Finally occurred to her, maybe that was a solution. Manager appears. Quickly walks back to her cage at the front of the store. All this time, I'm just invisible to these people. I walk out of the store with my groceries. I go home and check my banking, but there's no record of any purchase. Today, again, I check my banking online. Still no record. I GO BACK TO THE STORE to remedy the situation. Manager is the same person as yesterday. She gives me a look and pulls out the register receipt and processes the transaction. No "thank you for coming back." Completely ignores that I went back to fix their screw up. Instead, calls out to another worker "This is what I was talking to you about yesterday." I won't go back again. I was treated like a criminal even though I saw their error and went back to fix it. I happen to love king kullen. I'm there all the time. The people are friendly and helpful. And although a few items may be expensive,I have always gotten quality food, I don't get any of those things at stop and shop at least not at the Shirley location. read more

waited 10 minutes at the cold cut counter and 3 people working did not acknowledge me. Went to register to purchase my groceries and the clerk was clearly annoyed about being there. I asked if the item I purchased was on sale and her comment was rude. This used to be a nice store. read more

First off let me start off with how bad the supermarket smells. They clean the floors with a dirty old mop and it smells horrible throughout the whole store. The bathrooms are filthy, and I overheard the cashiers complaining how they don't have a break room. What kind of place is that? Also the manager I believe,Pete Noe, is very very rude. My wife wrote an email complaining about him and to investigate him for not giving an equal and comfortable workplace to the employees she's spoken to before and gave her that information. I feel very bad for the girls on the front end. Already my 2 favorite cashiers are gone and I'd like to know why. I hope things will change in that store, I don't like one thing about it that's going on and I will be sure to make this public to the community. read more

They really need to hire alot more and better quality help for their deli counter. Just ordered 2lbs of sliced cheese and the brand new, young employee was deep asleep, head on top of the counter. His coworker woke him, and after moving so slowly, I left to kill time with other shopping. After I returned 5 mins later, he had left only 1 lb cut for me, and he was helping other customers. When I pointed out his error, he gave me a huge attitude saying, "alright well, I'll get to it when I'm finished" with such disrespectful sass and snarky tone. He was clearly annoyed his new job was interfering with his nap. The rest of the deli help needs a serious overhaul as well. They're too busy there not to have better workers. read more

This is a pretty small and well-maintained KK that caters mainly to Center Moriches locals. The lines are always fast and employees friendly. The aisles are clean and the shelves are organized. read more

More frequent visits in the past beg me to echo the sentiments of Lucia before me, as this is ultimately your average KK in your average LI strip mall that's since been overshadowed a bit by Wendy's in terms of describing what lot to which you're directing a rendezvous partner. read more

I was in the store today, and I watched the Store Manager... (I think?) go over to this younger male, and accuse him of shop lifting. I didn't see him do anything, he had walked in the door with some sprite, then promptly left through the same door. Only to come back a few minutes later, and have this "Manager" demand he empty his pockets and grabbed his shoulder? I'm sorry when is it acceptable to touch a child? He was barely in the store for a few minutes, how is it possible to shop lift in that kind of time frame? I've worked in Retail before, I'm pretty sure you aren't allowed to touch the customers. The rest of my experiences was okay, that day normally it's a nice little store, and I get in and out really quickly. But to see someone of authority do that, and think it's acceptable is not okay. Just figured I'd let anyone else know who reads these reviews have the slight head's up to watch their kids. God forbid they walk into a store, and realize it isn't a good idea to bring merchandise they brought in from somewhere else with them. Might get a bit man-handled. read more
