It's been a few years since I got my first massage from her but this time around I've been having chronic pain near the arches of my feet for almost 3 months from a lot standing at my former job and DJ sets. Kaoru listened to my concerns about these problems and assessed my feet before promptly getting to work, always making sure I could handle the pressure. It was a bit painful to break all the knots that I didn't even existed in the center of feet but I felt so much relief after despite being a bit sore after. But on to this highly anticipated review from what I would believe has been the best deep tissue massage I have received from a massage parlor was done by Emma today. I was referred to her by a friend of mine, I have a masseuse that I have come to my home monthly, but she is so amazing and books out so far in advance that sometimes I need a massage on the spot or within a couple days so finding someone local was something I really needed. I called on a Saturday to book and she was not available so I asked if she was available Sunday and I was able to get in with her first appointment availability at 10 AM. Unfortunately, I was mistaken and ended up at a different massage parlor down the road and didn't realize I was at the wrong place until about 10:30. I called her and I told her that I was so sorry about the misunderstanding, but I was up the street and I would be there in a minute and she was so kind and sweet and told me no rush to take my time and to be safe. I really appreciated that as I am a business owner as well and I know that things happen and the accommodation to take me still was much obliged since I was pretty irritated at my experience at the other massage parlor in those 30 minutes that was there waiting not even realizing that I was at the wrong place due to their lack of customer service. Once I arrived at the establishment, I was greeted by her and she was so sweet and kind. I would love to go into detail about how amazing my massages but I really feel like you just need to experience it for yourself. I booked a 90 minute massage, but I literally felt like I was there for two hours! She really took her time with my body. She really focused on every single inch of my body and let me tell you I was so stiff, my muscles were so tight, but she slowly started engaging and even though it was painful at times because of the amount of pressure she was using it was done with care, she really knows what she's doing. My friend did tell me that she has hands of an angel and I can totally attest to that. After the massage was done, it may seem silly, but tears were running down my face because I felt so taking care of. She asked me if I wanted some water or hot tea and I asked for a hot tea, met her at the front and she went over some stretches for me to do since I work out a lot and my job is pretty taxing on my body. For a 90 min massage I paid 140, which I feel was worth every penny. The whole experience was phenomenal and I cannot wait to tell everyone about what an amazing experience I had. She did smooth, firm, planing strokes with her arms across my back and paid attention to my tense shoulders and neck, placing hot stones there in a way that was really soothing. She started out by walking on me and then I asked for focus to be on my lower back and hamstrings and she was fabulous. 5/5 45min Sauna Wrap this was such a unique service offering and it felt so good on my muscles especially after an amazing deep tissue massage. I will say that the 45 min did feel a little long but I might just be a wimp. Normally I can only last 15min in a sauna. The first 20min I was asleep and then got a little toasty. But I was able air myself a little bit since they didn't fully zip me in. Parking 3/5 it's next door to a very busy restaurant there are reserved spots for them but it does get filled up fast Overall this is an amazing spa and I will definitely be back
