I agreed. Then she insisted I needed to pay upfront. Also pretty weird but I handed her my debit card. She sneers at me and demands my drivers license as well. Now I'm starting to get uncomfortable but I hand her my ID and she disappears for almost 5 minutes. When she finally comes back, she demands my pin code for my card, and at this point, i'm getting really weirded out so I said "okay. I'll type it in for you" and she just chuckles and leads me to this weird ass back room where another woman is. Then, she's standing OVER MY SHOULDER trying to watch me type in my PIN number! I cover up the key pad and both women start to laugh. The card for whatever reason wouldn't go through (which didn't make sense because it absolutely had money on it) and she just said "oh it no work" and I'm like "right okay. I'm gonna go. This is weird." And she didn't even try to get me to stay, she just said "ok we see you next time" and I was like uh no. You won't. I called my bank to cancel my card. I'm not usually this paranoid, I'm a 25 year old broke college student working 2 jobs, so if they wanted to steal my life savings, they wouldn't get very far, but they were literally taking ALL of my information in this private back room and couldn't care less about taking my $70 for my massage. I got such a weird sketchy vibe coming here I will absolutely never go back. So uncomfortable and unpleasant.

The masseuse, Leah, kept rubbing my buttocks and touching my thighs instead of focusing on my lower back, even though I had asked her to work on that area because of the pain. There was also an unpleasant odor in the room. When I tipped her upon leaving, she was visibly unhappy; she acted as if I didn't understand the situation and implied the tip was too small. I saw a deal on Groupon for 60 minute floating therapy along with a 15 minute enhancement. I'll begin with the staff. The staff members were very friendly and they greeted me upon entry and asked if I had an appointment. Once I confirmed my appointment with them, They offered me a shower cap and then one of the girls immediately walked me to the spa side of the salon. I'll be honest I forgot their names but they were friendly and nice nonetheless. Next is the place itself. The place itself is very very clean. I can tell that this place is fairly new especially since this particular location was hard to find because there is no sign called "the float spa". This location is actually next to Raymour and Flanigan in the Deptford town center plaza and you have to enter through the "Hello gorgeous" hair salon. once I saw the salon I actually did see a sign in the window but it can easily be missed by someone who is not as familiar with the area. My float pod was very clean and I can tell that they actually do clean in between guests. The lady who helped me was very informative and she provided me with everything that I needed for my stay including ear plugs and a cushioned floating neck rest which was very needed because I cannot flow on my own lol The floating experience is self was very peaceful and I actually did end up falling asleep lol it was very clean in there and it was very warm and comforting especially with the music and the lights. I cannot do lights off in there whatsoever because I am afraid of the dark lol After the float therapy I tried to shower and wash off the salt but that was a fail. I still ended up with salt in the crevices so I ended up showering again once I got home. after showering I was guided to the Hydro massage bed for 15 minutes as an enhancement and that was just the icing on the cake! I understand that this place is still fairly new but one thing I would recommend is to have an actual swimming cap maybe or something to protect our hair because not everybody wants to get their hair wet. the shower cap was a great gesture but still got a little bit of water in my hair. other than that my stay here was excellent and this place truly deserves five stars from me!

She begins each session with a conversation so that she can truly meet you where you are and provide a wholistic approach to what you need to heal. Whether that is an emotional or physical release, a deepened connection with source, an energetic balancing or cleansing, or so on. Every session is unique to where I am at in my physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual bodies. She always seems to know what is wrong before I open my mouth, but she always holds space for me within her loving glow. Emily has an incredible way of making you feel instantly comfortable, even the most advanced of wall builders, like myself. I have broken down into tears before getting on the table, had massive physical releases, and healed in ways I thought weren't possible. She has guided me through deep emotional trauma as well as physical trauma (I had abdominal surgery to remove 15 tumors in 2016). I will say it's not all glitter and romance, there are often hard lessons to be learned and dealt with, and they can be difficult (but always necessary) and she guides you through it with light and love. I could go on and on, but really my words will mean nothing. What Emily offers is intuitive and experiential. Everyone's session is powerful, uniquely their own, and always far beyond what they expected. She is a true facilitator for your healing journey and I am blessed to have her in my life.
