What an amazing experience!!! Timely responses, effective, efficient, lowest price I found after comparing 7 moving companies by $40 dollars and almost half the price for the one-time fee. Lorenzo and the other 2 guys that helped him were on time, and started right away. There was no wasting time. They busted their tail the whole time with no wasted time. I've been super impressed every step of the way. Varinia was my first point of contact to get a quote. She was very responsive, thorough, and sweet. Brandon called me about 45 minutes prior to their arrival. He was so professional and courteous. Of course, it was raining like crazy the entire day, but Brandon, Nelson, and Israel were not fazed. They were all so kind and professional, and they were in a great mood the entire day. I've learned from many moves, the attitude of your movers matter! Our team carefully inspected and packed each item. If any item had a preexisting issue, they made sure we were aware of it and took great care to ensure its safe arrival at our new location. I move more often than I would like to, and hiring a moving company is always a crap shoot. (My last move was a 13-hour nightmare to go 10 miles.) So I wasn't sure what to do for the move from Dallas to Fort Worth. So I looked to Yelp and was able to take advantage of reviewing only Yelp Guaranteed movers. After several quotes, we settled on King Movers, and they were the best decision I've made in years. Updating review from 1 to 5 stars as owner of company called to apologize and made it right. Didn't make excuses and asked if they could help in anyways. Appreciated the owner trying to help even for a loss. It just sucks as we had hired another company during the confusion but they left about an hour worth of work in the garage. The owner of king moving said they wanted to make up for earlier mistake and would move it for free. After tip, still payed $225 as I didn't want workers to get gipped, but was touched they were willing to make up for their mistake and do it for free. Wish there was no miscommunication in the first place, but things happen and the owner really wanted to show that his company wants to make things right. ------------ Total disregard for my time. I cannot believe a business like this exists. I hope the owners read this message. Absolutely ridiculous. I called last Thursday and Friday to schedule a move for the following Thursday. I was told there was availability and a gentleman would come to my house on Monday to give me a better estimate. On Thursday I was told to move would most likely take around 8 to 9 hours. However on Monday, I was told it would take closer to 12 to 15 which was understandable. NO PROBLEM. He told me DD will give me a call later that day to schedule the move with the updated estimate. I was not given a call, but figured they would call me the following morning. Around 11 or noon - the next morning, I called as I was getting nervous as Thursday was coming up in just two days. DD did not pick up, but texted me back saying she would give me the quote by the end of day. I apologized for being a lil anxious and feeling a lil urgency as Thursday was quickly coming up (no response). It is now ~7PM. I have tried contacting multiple times and they have not once given me a call or text back. I've never heard of a service company that ignores customers for absolutely no reason. I tried honoring our verbal commitment and not contacting other movers but have been completely ignored and not given any reason!! Absolutely ridiculous. Not sure if they found bigger jobs or accidentally booked other clients, but now I'm screwed into finding someone else in two days or moving later. Amazing service. /s read more

Still haven't heard from him.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Called another number I found for them, spoke with some girl, Janiece/Bernice (something like that), who told me she'd call me back on Friday, from my Wednesday call, when their schedule for in person estimates came out. It is now the following Tuesday, and I haven't heard from her.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Mind you, they claim their response time is 40 minutes. And, when you leave a voicemail, they say they'll return your call at THEIR earliest convenience, wow![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So, do they provide good service? Who knows, those who have used them must have drawn a lucky lottery number or something, because it appears it has to be a miracle to get a professional response from them! I used King Moving Co twice this year, first time when I moved from my prior home into a temporary apartment and then again just this past weekend when I finally moved into my new home. I had such a great experience with the 3 man team (shout out to the lead, Herman) that packed (sorry guys!) and moved me the first time, I requested they be on the second move. Second move required two teams since I had a lot of stuff and I wanted to make sure we could do the move in one trip. All of the guys were AMAZING! They called to let me know when they were on the way and immediately got to work once they arrived. Since the majority of my stuff was packed and in storage, the guys mostly just had to load up the trucks and we were on the way. Once we reached the new home they unloaded everything, put furniture in designated rooms, reassembled as needed and hooked up the washer and dryer. ***Update Review*** 05-14-22 We hired this incredible company to pack and move some of our large items and antiques. They moved it from Ovilla, Texas to Denison, Texas. We had them unload it into a storage unit. Yesterday we picked up the last item from storage to bring to Oklahoma. The last item was a huge antique curio cabinet from Germany. We are the fourth generation to have this beautiful piece of furniture. Everything is unpacked and in place. NOT ONE SINGLE ITEM WAS DAMAGED OR BROKEN. They wrapped and secured every single item. Wow. These men were exceptional. They showed up on time to a house that was not even close to being ready to go. They went out of their way to be helpful and encouraging, all while lugging heavy furniture up and down stairs. They were extremely efficient and finished long before we expected. They even helped moving around the refrigerator that was already in the new house, even though moving it to the garage required them to load it into their truck and drive it around to the garage.
