Wow. These men were exceptional. They showed up on time to a house that was not even close to being ready to go. They went out of their way to be helpful and encouraging, all while lugging heavy furniture up and down stairs. They were extremely efficient and finished long before we expected. They even helped moving around the refrigerator that was already in the new house, even though moving it to the garage required them to load it into their truck and drive it around to the garage. Additionally, the price was very fair when compared to the other moving companies we spoke with. I would give them 6 stars if that were an option. read more

Very happy with our move with King Moving Co. It was a studio move from Frisco to Arlington and the coordination was just 24-48 hours before which was very smooth with their coordinators. On the morning itself, we started at 8am with three movers and a driver and were done before 11 in Arlington as their truck fit everything we needed to move. Wish I could give more stars. I originally had scheduled our move on a Thursday, with Grant, but realized a few days before that we wouldn't be ready until Friday the next day. I reached out and spoke with Omar who was very understanding of our situation and found a window of arrival that worked for us. I hired King's moving off a friend's recommendation and then I saw all the great reviews online. I also had a fantastic experience with King's Moving. I spoke with Omar and he had great communication and took extra time with me answering all my questions and concerns. They were able to accommodate my small move on short notice. The movers called when they were on the way and showed up on ETA. Edwin and his crew were very efficient, did not waste time and made sure each item I had was protected with blankets from scratches and dings along with plastic wrapping all item for the move. We had 2 drop off locations a storage unit and another back to my house. They were very professional and checked in with me about items if needed. 75% of my boxes were fragile filled with irreplaceable art work. They were very careful and considerate when moving these items making sure they were secure on the dolly and inside the truck. I've moved several times before and I highly recommend this company. Pros: Timely - my move was scheduled between 7-8 am, they showed up right before 8 and called to let me know they were on their way. I also received several text messages throughout the week to confirm my move. Innovative - They unfortunately don't move anything delicate in nature (wish I knew this in advance), so they used extra boxes and blankets to wrap my lamps to make sure they were secure and we packed them in my car. Cons: ***HUGE PROBLEM BELOW*** I am nearsighted and only wear my glasses when reading, watching tv and most importantly DRIVING. I had my glasses sitting on top of a nightstand during the move... THEY PACKED MY GLASSES!! THEY LITERALLY PUT MY GLASSES IN A RANDOM BOX THAT WE COULDN'T FIND!! I HAD TO DRIVE AN HOUR ACROSS TOWN TO MY NEW PLACE COMPLETELY BLIND!! WHY DIDN'T THEY ASK BEFORE PACKING MY GLASSES? WHY WERE THEY PACKING MY THINGS? Driving across town squinting caused a MAJOR MIGRAINE and then my blood sugar dropped and I fell extremely ill. Expensive and NOT quick - Based on the reviews I thought they would be moving faster.. not the case at all. I kept noticing they were moving super slow. And I began to wonder if they were taking advantage of me since I was a woman moving by herself. This has made me feel very uneasy and uncomfortable. Did not follow instructions - I **very clearly** listed on each box where they should go.. but somehow I had kitchen stuff in my bathroom and bathroom stuff in my kitchen. As stated above I was moving by myself and unfortunately do not have the upper body strength to move boxes around after they left. They took something without asking.. sort of. - I was being polite and told them I would have offered snacks if my food wasn't already packed up. (I put my food in clear plastic containers) And guess what I saw when they asked me to inspect the truck after the move to confirm all of my items were done? My diabetic safe chickpea snacks!! They took them out of the containers without asking!! I had offered earlier, but not those snacks specifically because I NEED THOSE!! This move was Saturday and I haven't felt right since which is why I'm writing this review. I feel taken advantage of and uncomfortable. Updated Review: We had some issues during our move. But I was able to resolve the issue after talking with Grant. Grant was proactive and called me to find out what went wrong and promptly took action to fix the issue we had. Original review: Workers did the job ok. There is 80% chance of rain predicted that day. So I asked them to load everything in my garage first but they said that's typically not how they work. The workers were also unable to back up the truck into driveway initially due to limited space. Half way during unload process it started raining and it all got wet on the road and drive way. Workers also hesitated to take off their shoes initially but after I insisted as it's got make carpet dirty, they did. There was some delay due to rain and we had some carpet stain issues. read more

Call them in after a discussion on pricing. They sent me three guys for a flat rate for my studio. The guys were so good and so fast that I paid them $100 tip. They were the nicest three guys from Belize! They definitely made the entire experience good. Without them I was just going to go ahead and use a recommended company nearby. However they were so fast and I didn't have to keep an eye on them or make sure that they were working nothing. They just got it handled. So I really appreciate the renegotiation on pricing and I especially appreciate the gentleman that you sent. I think a huge part of the success of this location is the people that work for you. To start with, King Moving was recommended by several people in our "our aging parents" NEXTDOOR group. That was a good start. We did our diligence and got competitive quotes from 4 similarly verified and licensed/insured companies. King moving was among the least expensive without having any odd surcharges or weird pricing gimmicks. The cost was straight forward and easy to understand. Due to scheduling, we had to use a 3 man crew instead of a 2 man but in hindsight that probably saved time which translates to $$$. We wanted to move within 48 hours approximately 12 items from Frisco to Plano (12 miles/25 min). What complicated the move logistics was the furniture (Queen power bed / sofa / chair / end tables / boxes) was located in a locked down Assisted Living Memory Care facility with high COVID precautions. The engagement was booked and a time & price was agreed. We also agreed that if the crew is running early, that would be acceptable. Alfonso texted me that they were running 90 min early so I scrambled and met them at the ALF and called ahead to coordinate. The move went well and the team performed as expected.
