One of my biggest concerns was staying within budget, and I really appreciated that their initial quote respected that. As the project progressed, though, it became clear that the house needed more work than we originally planned. What I appreciated most was that the Ruiz team never tried to "sell" me on unnecessary upgrades. Instead, they acted as consultants, helping me understand where spending a little more would have the biggest return on investment. For example, they recommended replacing the bathroom countertops and shower door. At first, I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the extra money, but looking back, I'm so glad I listened. Those improvements completely transformed the bathrooms, and my realtor now believes we can price the home at the very top of the market. That was my ultimate goal--maximize the home's value while fixing the problems I inherited--and Ruiz genuinely understood that from day one. Their speed and professionalism also exceeded my expectations. Ricardo told me they could get started immediately, and he absolutely meant it. The crew got to work right away, and I was consistently impressed by both the pace and the quality of their work. I had hired this company in May to do a whole house cleaning and they did a very good job. So then…read moreI decided to hire them again recently to do a regular cleaning based on a five hour quote I was given in May. The two young ladies came on time and seemed to be doing what was asked of them per the quote... dusting, vacuuming, washing floors, cleaning bathrooms, etc. I took a quick look around and everything seemed to be in order. But the next day, I checked the kitchen floor and under the shelf units and under the secretary and the hutch and they were still dirty and clearly had not been done. I spoke with the owner, who questioned my manner of checking the kitchen floor and was going to send the girls back over, but I declined that offer. I had already redone the cleaning myself. Then later in the week, I dropped an earring under my bed and had to retrieve it with the ceiling fan broom and found a ton of dust under my bed (see the pic below). And more was discovered under my dresser and under the night stands!! I also thought it was odd that there were no vacuum marks on the rug in my husband's office. I sent the picture of the dust in an email to the owner and asked for a refund of one hour of work, $42, because it was clear that the job was poorly done and I was going to have to do it all myself. At 70 years of age and having many medical issues this year, the cleaning service was a welcome helper (or so I thought!). Instead of an apology from the owner, today, I received a check for $42, and written in the memo line was " extortion, unrealistic expectations".!!! I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone as they do not know how to conduct business nor do they know how to treat their customers!!
