I needed a dark grey color and went into this peace of crap store and showed the woman at the front desk the color I needed. I actually showed her my car. I took a look at the paint and said I wanted this one, "she says well it looks like it's a metallic grey and that I should take another color." Her suggestion was one that was more expensive, but I tried to trust her because maybe she actually knew something about the colors that I didn't. I decided to buy the color she suggested. She does not give me a receipt, I decide to say no big deal because I knew that I would need to test it before officially using it. I took one quick spray of the can to see if it even matched as she suggested and brought it back to the store to ask for the spray paint that I originally wanted. The woman without any concern for me as a customer says "We can't take it back if it was sprayed." What?!? Nice policy, but would make more sense if you gave me good advise as a customer service rep! You suggested this item, it's wrong and you won't even take it back. I could understand if I asked for my money back and or had used a ton of the paint, but a spray to see the color? Give me a break! I will never come here again.

Brought in my 2017 Tahoe with 73,000 miles on it the first week of November 2025 for an engine…read morereplacement, finally got it back ONE MONTH LATER. Was told it may take 3 weeks to finish so I was patient but after 4 weeks it became quite annoying, especially since I had to rent a car. Picked it up and was told that it had a bit of "hesitation" and that it was probably the transmission or dirty fuel injectors, Gary suggested high octane fuel and fuel injector cleaner. Why they didn't investigate this further prior to telling me the truck was ready was stupid and unprofessional, but I trusted Gary. I tried both and it still ran terribly. Brought it to a transmission shop and was told that the transmission was perfect. Brought the truck back to Motor Works and I was told that the truck needed a 02 sensors and fuel sensors, which were replaced by Motor Works. Left motor works and then found the engine had a vibration. Took my truck to a trusted mechanic that told me motor works never replaced the harmonic balancer which causes the vibration. Motor works should have replaced this part but never did. I was also told by Motor Works that the engine mounts should have been replaced, to which I agreed, but in hindsight I probably should have inspected first. Unfortunately, I was too trusting, and it was close to Christmas. The entire job cost me OVER $10,000.00 and my truck still runs with a vibration. During this disgraceful process, I was also told that the timing belt should be replaced, to which I acquiesced. Items like oil filter, oil, plugs etcetera were not included in the price that I paid to which I think is ridiculous. Gary speaks very well and appears to be educated in his business but at the end of the day my kindness was taken advantage of. There are other motor replacement companies out there. Don't be taken advantage of by this guy, you will regret it. Gary, I know you will respond back with bogus facts and will try to defend the shoddy work that you did, but you and I both know what you did.

Gary and his team went above and beyond replacing my bad engine and solved an unrelated vibration…read moreproblem. They discovered a bad torque converter and fixed that too. That was after a transmission shop failed to find this problem. I am very satisfied and recommend Motorworks.

It was my first time using a locksmith service and I have to say the whole process was fast. I have…read moredecided to give this company a try because it looked like it was local and had decent reviews. When I call they told me that they would't be able to give me a price and that the technician was going to that when he arrived. Once the Tech arrived he saw my lock and told me that the only way to open the door was to drill it so, I said okay, then I asked how much? He said $250 for drilling. Then I asked, how much for a new lock ? He said $280 + service fee + tax - overall the whole experience cost me $713 dollars for a new lock and the lock out service. The next day I called to verify the prices and I was told those were the prices and that it varies by Techs. I told them that I felt the prices too much and that it didn't seem fair. I got a call from them later saying that they'll refund me $100 dollars to make me happy. The total price was $613 dollars - I think it was still a bit much - I think the price should have been more around $300 to $400 but, maybe it's my unpopular opinion. Also, note that I did call them around 7:40 pm and I got the service around 8:00 pm. I'll say that before you use them make sure you get the prices before hand. If I knew it was going to cost me that much I would of shop around. I give them 3 stars because they were not upfront with the prices and they only tell you once the tech gets to your house. Service was great tho. Update: I was contacted by Lior (the manger) and he apologize for the situation I described above - he acknowledged that the price was too high and that the tech should have been upfront with me. He mentioned that his guys were busy due to the Jewish Holiday so the job was done by a freelancer - the reason why I was overcharged. He mentioned they don't do business this way and that he wanted to correct this / make things right. I sent him a picture of my lock and told him the services I got - he said that for the service I got the total should have been $239.53 and he refunded me $373.47 + $100 I got refunded earlier. I really appreciate Lior reaching out and making things right for me. I'm updating my rating to 5 stars because of what he did and I will be considering this company in the future / recommending them. I really hope my experience and transparency helps others in the case this happens to you.
