I shopped my first time in this king soopers last week for instacart. The location was laid out nice. There is a lot of space AND a lot of choices! Was very impressed with their produce department, lots of variety and selection. Also just in general a lot of variety within the store. The prices were great and what As to the mask comments in other peoples reviews, everyone i saw was masked and there is a sign at the front that DOES say masks are required for entry. If you are scared though and think there might be too many people or whatever they do have option of click list where you can shop your order online before hand and just easily pull up into the clicklist spot and call and pick it up! it is SO simple! and of course there is also instacart as well which delivers the groceries right to your door. read more

The bakery is terrible. Need to change their bakery manager. We've been buying bread here since they opened this store. It use to be fresh. Now.. It's always day old with the sell by date 2-3 days out. It's old tasting, and hard. Do yourself a favor don't waste your money on the bakery bread. Better off to buy Wonder Bread. read more

This is the worst King Soopers in the NoCo region. The aisles are littered with excessive displays making an already crowded store impossible to navigate and a fire hazard. Lots of expired items on the shelf. And incredibly long check out lines. They push you to use self checkout, but nowhere to form a line with all of the cardboard displays. Bakery consists of mostly day-old and stale items. And the women that work at the meat counter are generally rude. read more

I was in the store last Sunday evening ,I was in very hurry,No time ..and then exactly when I was paying for my purchases I realize I forgot my wallet at home.The money in my pocket not enough to pay for my milk ,it was very embarrassing.But the angel who was working as a cashier at that moment offers me to pay for the milk with her own money. My wife and I moved from Aurora to Severance. The nearest King Soopers is in Windsor. Wow! What a big difference from Aurora. Each time we come to this grocery store, we have a good experience. The staff (cashiers and baggers) are very friendly and professional. They would say hello and smile and would say thank you and would say have a great day/evening. We never had this good experience while shopping at King Soopers in Aurora. Thumbs up to the store managers for training their employees well. Keep up the great work Windsor store! read more

I moved to Windsor about 1.5 years, but I didn't get a chance to shop at this Kingsoopers much. One day, I was planning to stop by for a cabbage. Beware, the $3.99 lb. petite sirloins I purchased today rang up at $6.99 lb. Luckily, I didn't purchase much so I noticed the error right away. Thought perhaps I hadn't clipped the coupon, but that wasn't the case. What irks me is the customer service rep who refunded the difference didn't seem to think it was necessary to check when I asked if other customers were being charged the wrong price also. He just said that I was the first one to point it out. read more

I like the variety in the store, they have great produce and a good selection of pretty much everything you need. The check out procedure though I hate! I like being able to unload my groceries on the line myself instead of having the check out person do it. They handle your produce 3 times by the time they take it out of the cart, the bag boy puts it in a bag and they they load your bags in the cart. My apples usually have bruises by the time I get out of there. I'm so careful with my produce and by the time they all handle it it's usually bruised. It is so annoying to me! The checks outs are always so busy too, you have to stand in line so long to wait to get checked out. The variety and good selection of produce get me back, but I do wish they'd change the check out system or at least tell their employees to handle the customers groceries with more care. read more

Agreed, for drugstores, this is an unnecessary addition, but as a grocery store it's okay. We tend to go to King Sooper's for three reasons; they send us great coupons, they cost less than Safeway, and my son loves running around the well-lit aisles (and they let him). They do a great job providing nice little amenities for kiddos, like the free cookie and penny horsey ride. Also, I like how we can have the choice of cashier or self-check. My son learns the value of a dollar and how to use a barcode reader all in one go. But, when I'm too tired to self-check, I like wheeling up to a register. Everyone is very nice and polite. The only areas I wish were improved was selection of where they purchase meat and poultry. I've brought home their only brand of ground beef and found gray parts in the center, which could be a sign of bad handling. If we had more locally raised and butchered meat I'd buy it there more frequently. Instead, I try to buy grass-fed over in Loveland, when I actually buy red meat. read more

I know Windsor is having growing pains. We have lived here over 13 years. King Soopers use to be the store of choice. Good selection, excellent fruit, easy in and out. I still go there for fruit but can't stand the mob scene and empty shelves. The employees use to be friendly and now they seem overwhelmed and stressed out. Hire more stickers, expand the store, I don't know. It's only going to get worse with the population explosion around here. read more

We use the click list at this location and seem to get the worst produce everytime. We have received rotten lettuce bruised apples like they were dropped on the ground several times and this last time the shittiest pears i have ever seen. maybe its the employees shopping that does it on purpose who knows. Best produce ever besides California. Nice people. I have bought some very outdated items that I had returned for full refund. Checkers are nice! However they have workers stocking during the day and they are rude, running past you with a cart of items stacked high, and would just as soon run you over then be careful. We have had more than once almost hit us.... by that much! read more

This is an extremely clean and well stocked store. The employees are always helpful and friendly. The produce department really sets itself apart. My only company is it can take a while to check out. But that's usually when they are really busy. read more

Store is dirty, stock is iffy at best, KS's horrid repetitive music is played far too loud, restocking takes place during busy hours (often stockers clog the aisles with their carts and empty boxes), insulting in-store "Attention KS associates, security check, section red" announcement repetitively played to discourage shoplifting (really -- in Windsor???), store personnel block entire aisles with their massive "Clicklist" carts, store displays are placed so as to block more than 1/2 an aisle, leading to traffic backups during busy times. read more

SUPER RUDE! Went into the store today to pick some kitty litter up. When i went into the isle to get the cheapest possible litter I could, I found a bag of letter located RIGHT ABOVE a price tag saying $4.79. When I scanned the bag at the register it rang up at over $15. When I pointed out the price discrepancy to the lady working the self check out she said she would have to have an price check done. I said that was fine, so she went to get another employee to do this price check! A extremely rude young lady named Sam came, went to the isle, came back and said the price of the litter I had chosen was $15.99. I told her that the price tag under the bag I had picked up said $4.79 and that there was not a $15.99 price tag anywhere NEAR them. She again argued with me so I said let's go look. We both went back to the isle and I showed her EXACTLY where the tag and the bags were. She proceeded to "explain" to me that the $4.79 tag was for the bag of litter NEXT to mine. So I asked her, "So the price tag directly UNDER the product I had chosen was NOT for that product. She said nope and that was that. I picked another brand of litter and went back up to the front but I was still upset. I was not upset not only about the wrong pricing, but about the attitude that Sam gave me about it, so I asked to speak to another manager about the situation. Another manager came up with, no surprise, Sam. I told this new manger that Sam was extremely rude and that after being in the customer service industry for a LONG time I wanted her to know. She, of course, defended Sam saying that the price was correct at $15.99, to which I said I get it, but the rudeness was not needed. Sam then interrupted saying, "I was just explaining to you how the price tags worked"! I KNOW HOW PRICE TAGS WORK! Not only that but since I could tell I was getting no where, I said "well I guess you're going to defend Sam's actions and it is what it is", to which Sam said "yep, it is what it is" just to get the last word in. Long story short, very very VERY bad experience and I will be either going across the street to Safeway or drive a little further to Walmart. I have shopped at this King Soopers for YEARS and have never been treated so badly. Disappointed to say the least. read more

This is my first time ever at a King Soopers, but being a native of Cincinnati, where their parent company Kroger is based, I found a whole slew of similarities, including decor, signage, and more notably, Kroger-branded products. Good prices on things, and good service. Thought it was odd that their entrance is an open air curtain (like some warehouse stores), and not a sliding door like you might see back home. But when I'm out there visiting family, it's a good place to get some basics at a good low price. read more

Great prices and usually always friendly check out people. Younger kids are friendlier than the adults.

Their are getting great with stocking more organic and gluten free things! Checkers are always smiling and they have free fruit for kids

We have contacted Management and corporate about this ongoing issue in the past, but it goes ignored and the problem is getting worse. They allow various school groups to do their fundraising right at the entrance. Whenever a group is out front, customers get mobbed by kids who do not know any better (scary when they are large high school boys), and must navigate around the kids, their friends, tables and collection boxes to get in and out of the store. Not only is it a serious safety violation (God forbid there was an emergency that required store evacuation, or there was a serious medical emergency), but it is a hazard for other reasons. Windsor is home to many combat veterans living with PTSD. It is not a good idea to charge or mob anyone, but it's REALLY not a good idea to do this to one of our heroes. We have been shopping here for years, but if they don't stop this conduct we will go elsewhere. Their produce is great. Getting to it is a problem. read more

I only shop at king soopers. Coupons are great. Good selection and low price. But every time it go in they have a very nice lady (who is more than old enough to be my grandmother) pulling in carts. While there are plenty of young people inside bagging groceries. I stop to help her whenever I see it. This is wrong. I refuse to shop at this one for that reason. read more
