The lady told me because I had towels in this small machine I can't get a refund. She used her phone to translate and let me read her reply. Please put a note on this broken dryer So other loyal customers don't have to lose money like I did. I will not step foot in this business again. If the machine is broken you may not get your money back either. You've lost a loyal customer over $2.

After searching on Yelp for the most aesthetic laundromat in New Orleans, Holy Sheets came up as #1...and once I saw the photos, I already knew this was the one. The floors alone sold me! I also had an oversized blanket to wash, so I figured I could kill two birds with one stone. When I arrived, I sat and waited for my photographer, then went to ask a staff member a question about starting my wash. That's when she let me know photos weren't allowed, but she offered to check with the owner. A few minutes later, he arrived (I hate that I can't remember his name), greeted customers, and then came over to speak with me. I explained it was for my birthday shoot, and he kindly let me know it was a busy time and he didn't want to make other customers uncomfortable, but he offered to schedule another time for us to come back. Very respectful and professional. Of course, with a scheduled shoot, we couldn't really pivot like that, so I thanked him and started making other plans. BUT then...he came back and said we could go ahead and take pictures, just to be mindful of customers and stay on one side. That meant so much! Even though people naturally started moving into that area (lol), we made it work, and he was super accommodating the entire time. I really appreciated that level of kindness and flexibility. Now let's talk about the space, this laundromat is BEAUTIFUL, if laundromats can be beautiful lol. Clean, bright, and very well-maintained. The floors? Stunning. The machines were all in working order, plenty of baskets available, and I love that they offer full-service wash and fold options too. What stood out the most was the customer service. He greeted people as they came in, listened attentively to customers, and created a welcoming environment. Overall, such a great experience. Thank you for being a part of making my birthday special!

I was able to unload and reload my clothes with out any foolishness. Cons: when you ask how much is the wash/dry/fold service they tell you $1.25/lb of clothes. However they don't tell you it's a 10 lb minimum charge even if the clothes aren't 10 lbs. They also charge you around $5 per load for water. Which brings the total to around $2.00/lb. Why not just charge $2/lb? OR have it posted in writing in the facility OR make sure the attendants communicate the service charges when customers inquire about the prices? I've used this service on and off since 2013. When I was still living in an apt and didn't have my washer/dryer connections yet and just recently when my washing machine bit the dust at my house. I was informed that the washateria was under new ownership because previous trips did not have all the extra service charges. I've been coming here long enough that I've watched the price for wash/dry fold go from $0.75/lb to now $1.25/lb. Obviously I'll be back but man did this most recent visit put a sour taste in my mouth.
