I used the wash and fold service. Dinah is really friendly and helpful, and we chatted while I dropped off my laundry. It was done in just a few hours, and she texted me when it was ready to pick up. The presentation of the clean laundry is really nice and neat, and she even puts ribbon on the bag. It's reasonably priced at $4.50 a pound. If you want to do your own laundry, there are machines available for that too. It was worth it to me to have the free time on my vacation. I'd recommend this place. My first review of 2023, and I'm so glad it's Suds Dem Duds. A perfect five stars for laundry, that's when you know you're in good hands. We were travelling for 2 full weeks on only carry-ons, so laundry was a must. The hotel charged $7 per item, as hotels do, so that wasn't an option. Enter Suds Dem Duds. Not only is the location perfect - on Bourbon Street about a block from Lafittes Blacksmith Shop - but you will have an amazing time just saying the name. It is a super fast service - I brought in two loads at about 1.45, and pickup was ready by 3.30, with the clothes beautifully folded and packaged for easy pickup. The owner is kind an accommodating, too. The cost is a bit expensive - it was $20 for what accounted to two loads - but it was way cheaper than going through the hotel, and it saved me from doing laundry myself while on vacation. If you're in a bind, this is the best choice. read more

Rocked up about 11am and after Dinah finished "taking the Mickey" out of me because we were Australians (and because Australians can take it as well as give it) she announced that washing could be picked after 3pm. True to her word it was ready but she called me over to inform me that a denim item had bled onto a pair of light coloured shorts. She managed to get most of the blue colour out. Very happy until I spilt red wine over them the following evening We asked if she could recommend a good, small jazz/blues establishment. This is such an amazing service that is offered. Our hotel had no laundry rooms so I luckily found this spot which was a life saver. We dropped off our clothes and she had them washed, folded, and then delivered to our hotel!! She even took special requests for my delicate clothes. My favorite cardigan ended up coming out looking better and softer then before. I don't know how she did it. It's like magic. My husband and I were in New Orleans for our 5 year anniversary and it was so nice to not have to worry about washing our clothes while on our vacation. It really made all the difference. It was the Saturday before Easter and we showed up around 10 am. Dinah took all of it and for $40 bucks is was washed folded and put in a vaccume sealed back. I felt like a new person with all my clothes clean and it helped save money on travel witg laundered clothes. They also deliver but we stayed near Frenchman street and just walked to french quarter to drop it off. We dropped it off shoved in a portable backpack and she found a way to make it fit again.
