They courteously answered my questions and worked retrieving my vehicle as safely and quickly as possible. One was obviously more experienced than the other however they worked well as a team. I had a wonderful experience with this company, highly recommend due to the quality of care and service! When I called them through my insurance the woman working their phones was incredibly helpful! She went out of her way to call back my insurance to try and see if they would cover more of my tow since it had to go far. I had my car towed for 2.5 hours around 6 PM on a short notice. Jesse was the one that helped me and was great company on the ride down! Clearly this company is very thoughtful and interested in actually helping people. Only reason it's not five stars is the price of the tow. But with gas prices these days it's understandable. I also was provided a very accurate quote before agreeing to the tow as well. Usually no one likes a towing company but King Towing gets 5 stars! My Prius got stuck about 15 minutes outside of Lassen Volcanic National Park. All the electrical stopped working and we couldn't even get it into neutral. Jacob, the driver, was kind enough to let us know that the mechanic I had found didn't do fixes on Prius batteries, which are kind of a speciality project. Chris helped us figure out things with my insurance so we could get the car to the right place to get fixed. And all this happened with really spotty cell phone reception and some missed calls and texts. So grateful to Jacob and Chris for making a not fun situation a little better. Thank you! read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I HAVE NEVER HAD WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE OR HAD A TERRIBLE SERVICE PERFORMED EVER!! This is even an understatement. My wife hit a major pothole in east marysville while driving our Tesla and had to park so that she could have it towed. Teslas do not have spare tires so the tow was required. Since she was going to be late getting to work I went, picked her up and, let her barrow my truck while I hitched a ride to work with a friend. At 4:30p my wife called USAA to get a tow to a local tire dealer. After waiting over an hour for the tow truck to arrive, she called USAA to get a status of the truck. Shortly after the driver called and said he needed to get gas and then would be bye to tow the vehicle. 45 minutes later my wife called the tow truck driver and asked where he was thinking maybe he had gotten lost. He replied that he was around the corner. 15 minutes later, 2HOURS AFTER ORDERING THE TOW, he arrived. Upon arrival my wife said he was rude and had zero idea on how to tow a Tesla and rudely said "I don't know how to unlock the dumb the thing" after realizing the frunk needed a special key to put it in "tow" mode. At 6:48p the car was enroute to the tire shop. Upon arrival after unloading the tire repairman stated the rim was bent and couldn't take a new tire meaning...we needed a new Tesla rim. Tesla rims aren't stocked by non Tesla shops so it needed to go to Tesla in Roseville. As my wife was walking out to tell the tow truck diver she would need to have the car towed back to marysville, he was driving off. She then with the assistance of three of the tire shop men was able to waive down and stop the rogue tow truck driver in order to get another tow back to our house until we could order a new rim. My wife explained to him that she has no ride home and would be stranded without him towing our car and her home (I was at work). The rude tow truck driver then stated he would need to contact his dispatch. After speaking to his dispatch, the rude tow truck driver said sorry, dispatch said no then drove off. My wife, hysterical at this point contacted me and asked if I could barrow a friends truck to come get her. I arrived to a distraught wife and a Tesla that was inoperable and a tire shop that was closed and a sketchy neighborhood after dark. I mean what kind of man leaves woman with no way to get home in a less than desirable area after dark and offers no assistance...KING TOWING DOES THATS WHO!! After calming my wife down she contacted USAA who requested a tow and guess who...yep good Ol bottom of the barrel king towing..they said they'd arrive in 9 minutes so we eagerly waited bye. After 30 minutes I decided to contact king towing using the number on the website. A man answered and I asked for the manager, he said he was. I explained our terrible situation to which he said that someone requested they no come. I stated that the request was not to send the rude tow truck driver from before as my wife was extremely upset with him. Chris (owner) said that since that tow truck driver was his only driver for the night, he called the dispatch off...I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Now being 8:15 at night and we've now been at this for 4 hours you could say I was less than pleased to hear his comments especially since the tow distance was less than 8 miles from point A to point B.. we ended up leaving our Tesla in the vacant parking lot over night then in the morning had the car towed down to Loomis for a new rim. We placed a claim in with USAA on the terrible experience we received form Chris West and his band of hooligans and recommended that their contract be canceled due to safety concerns and unprofessional services. If you want professional, courteous assistance with your towing needs, ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE A WOMAN...don't even think about calling these okies from a far off land. A persons perception of a tow truck operated is more than likely a slick lizard of a person looking for someway to screw you out of your last dollar in a time of need, KING TOWING TAKES THAT STANDARD TO AN ALL TIME LOW. DON'T CALL KING TOWING. They are absolutely the worst in the business!!!! read more

Warning, county folks, stay away from King Towing. They took a job from USAA to haul our vehicle out of the mud over 2 hours ago. At 1:30 they called to say they were delayed because they had a job from CHP and to ask how far we were from a hard-packed road. We informed them that our tire is about 3ft off of the gravel driveway on our property, which has had several concrete trucks and flatbeds on it recently for our recent house build. We just called them back to find out what was going on, 2:30 pm, to learn that they thought we were only about a mile from their location in town, which is an obvious lie, and that they need to cancel the call because they can't take our call out here. It is too far from a paved road. They are apparently known for doing this to folks who live in the country. Report them to Yelp when they are unprofessional and take jobs they can't do! read more

Jesse, is a problem solver. I dumped my 17' aluminum drift boat on the Feather River in a remote area. After two separate parties confirmed on-site they could not provide a solution, Jesse came in and carefully assessed the options, and determined we had a route that could lead to success. Says Insurance does not cover Tow service. That I had to pay the service in full, out of pocket. After I paid in full-cash, My insurance sent me a text to rate the service. I rated it 1, and insurance sent me a text that someone will call me to discuss the issue. After on the phone, they said they paid this towining company because my service was covered. I paid cash with no receipt, too. This is a big scam company trying to upsell their services and do insurance fraud. read more

Justin was very nice and very helpful. He switched my tire to the front so that I could be towed since my car is front wheel drive and my back tire had a staple in it. I will definitely use this company anytime I need a tow. Also dispatcher was very sweet on the phone and helpful. Stayed in touch with me until Justin arrived.
