Lol Seriously though this place does serve up some of the best Chinese Food in this area so it's definitely something to keep in mind whenever you find yourself in this part of Jerzey.    So far I've tried their Beef with Broccoli and General Tso's Chicken which were both spot-on as far as quality, deliciousness, and quantity plus I'm a big fan of their Crispy Spring Rolls. Gotta say that  both dishes were thoroughly enjoyed by yours truly and left me with the inspiration to write this epic 5 Star review. Two times in a row I've spent 30+ bucks on this restaurant. Both times the only thing was to add duck sauce and soy sauce. Both times NOTHING. One duck sauce the last time if that counts. I'm not one to complain, but Chinese restaurants are known for y'all sauce with the food. read more

Great Chinese takeout restaurant. They were the only Chinese restaurant open during the Coronavirus lockdown so I decided to give them another try. The food is really good and service is fast. The hot & sour soup is not too hot and not too mild, just the way that I like it. The ginger & scallion shrimp were great, so was the moo goo gai pan and shrimp lo mein. Stopped ordering from this place over a year ago after ordering from them almost on a weekly basis for 4 years. They screwed our order up and just because I called to let them know, the lady got furious and said they don't screw up orders and wouldn't do anything to address the issue...especially when she knows we order the same thing every week for years. Awful, Awful, Awful! This restaurant has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I called the restaurant immediately after my 8-year-old son found a long strand of hair in his chicken fried rice. The woman who answered the phone was rude and condescending. After I explained the situation and requested to return the food, she angrily shouted "Bring back the full carton not half eaten!" I was so insulted I opted for a refund instead. Been here a few times and the food is always great but this time around it really made me want to give a five star review. I believe it's family owned because of the very young looking boy working the register, but I asked for napkins and before he handed them to me, he washed his hands in the sink. First time I ordered online, I got the sesame beef lunch with chicken fried rice no vegetables. I got to the store and my order wasn't ready so I waited. Instead of giving me the sesame beef, they gave me the sesame chicken with chicken fried rice with vegetables. I was on my lunch break so didn't have time to have it switched. Called ahead of time this time to order the sesame beef and they gave me the right thing. However, the beef tastes really weird. I had two pieces and I don't know what it is exactly but it doesn't taste fresh and has a strange aftertaste. Ended up just eating the fried rice. Probably wouldn't order from here again. I've ordered from here twice now. Sesame chicken combination with all white meat and an order of beef on a stick. Beef sticks come with 4 pieces which is awesome considering everywhere else I've only ever gotten 2 with an order. Sesame chicken is delish. To start out, I am not a huge fan of Chinese food primarily because I think it is always so greasy.... FINALLY, I found a Chinese place that focuses on healthier cooking habits! As advertised right on the menu, King Wok uses vegetable oil and low salt on their cuisine. It is definitely noticeable in the food that they serve. My fiancé and I ordered the spring roll appetizer, chicken lo mein, shrimp mei fun, wonton soup and beef fried rice for take out. We were very pleased with our order! Great portion sizes and not greasy at all like typical Chinese places! We just moved to Flanders and we are so excited that we found King Wok! I walked in here one time to place an order and on one of the tables was a huge dead cockroach. It was just lying on its back in the middle of the dining room on top of one of the tables being completely neglected. Best Chinese in Budd Lake! Only place that always tastes fresh.

Last week I ordered from them and found hair in my food. This is actually the second time that I've found hair in my food at this restaurant but trying to give them a chance. The first time I drove back and showed them the dish and they immediately made me another one. This time I had my food delivered and gave a five dollar tip for delivery man. When I called and explained to them that I found hair in my food the owner was very short with me... She did not want to listen to me because her response was "we are very busy right now". Just like my food was delivered, my refund should have been delivered as well. The next day I went in with the plate of food with the hair still in it and the rest of the food in a bag because I did not eat anything else. The owner at first just wanted to know which dish had the hair in it because she only wanted to refund me for that and I explained that I wanted my full amount. She finally did give me my refund but not after deducting the amount of two can sodas that I ordered with my food, which as a business owner she should not have been worried about being so EXACT. I will never order from this business again, especially because of how she handled the situation. read more

Never have any issues with this restaurant. The food doesn't taste oily or greasy which I often find with some Chinese food. The staff is always friendly and the prices are reasonable. They failed to read the instructions on simple request like extra onions (the food came with no onions instead) amongst other simple requests! We have always ordered from here but after tonight never again! First off, it took 2 hours to get to our home. It was a larger order $100, but I work in the hospitality industry and I know that 2 hours is obsurd. Than no sauces, no fortune cookies and 3 entrees were missing! That than took another 35 minutes. Needless to say, we ate cold Chinese with no sauces and my husband did not eat at all. We ordered dinners from King Wok on Saturday. we waited about an hour to get the delivery and when the driver pulled in the driveway he immediately pulled out and yelled from his car window that he would be back in 10 min. a half hour later he came back, gave us our order and left. my wife's order was completely messed up. She called and told them and they said that whenever she wanted she could call back and get the correct order at no charge. She called tonight to get her correct, free order and they told her that unless she ordered more food she could not get the free order that they promised her. Very poor and dishonest business!!
