The shop itself was spacious and clean with a no frills decor. I was immediately seated by a barber, John. John is a man of few words, but is extremely attentive. He asked me what kind of cut I wanted, I answered, and he asked a few clarifying questions. Of the small talk we had, John mostly responded with a protracted, unimpressed "uh huh", but I didn't mind that. It was clear he was involved in the details of my cut. While cutting my hair, he didn't answer phones or respond to any messages, which is all too common at most barber shops, and I greatly appreciate that.
