Also unable to send in a referral, they told me they would send my rads/chart to my email and I could do it myself. I'd just like to add on to this review, shortly after I posted this the doctor herself called me and it was not to ask about my experience or how it could be improved. She told me I had "crap insurance" (even though I had it changed and her receptionist must not have added my new one seeing as the doctor still thinks my insurance is from 2025) and that I was "22 years old" and could look up my own providers. She also stalked me enough to figure out my career and asked "how am I gonna be a horse vet if clients can't afford procedures..." Then proceeded to say she did not believe me when I explained my issue is that I was told initially they would not send a referral, then that I could send my own referral and finally after a week of going back and forth they sent the referral at which point I told her she could pull the call logs and hung up. Entirely unprofessional from the front staff to the back.

I stay on top of my dental care and have gone countless times for everything from cleanings to standard checkups and Invisalign treatment. I have never had this happen before. Absolutely crazy, give your money to a more honest dental practice.

Our insurance covers fully for two cleanings a year (pretty standard right?). That's preventative care. Yet, when I looked the invoice for services rendered and how it was filed with my insurance, it was filed as a "basic" services. So either they performed an extra deep cleaning, which they should be paid for....OR, they intentionally filed it wrong to get me to pay something. I'd like to believe it was the first and someone simply made an honest mistake. I like to assume the best in folks. So I hope that was the case........ However, the charges are different. I had to pay almost $250 OOP for that extra service. I wasn't made aware of any extra charges or "periodontal cleanings," which I guess are deep cleanings. When I called to ask what it was about, they told me to contact my insurance. But I'm fully aware of what the insurance covers. Preventative services are covered at 100%, twice a year. They did the same to my wife too. Riccobene, please be up front about any and all extra charges and please ENSURE that customers services are being filed CORRECTLY.

Why would Lace and I get "cancellation" messages if we didn't have appointments that day?!

The staff is super-super friendly, warm, and professional. The receptionist was very accommodating, the X-ray tech was friendly and meticulous, and the hygienist was likewise thorough and sociable. The equipment seems like the latest technology. As Christina D. mentions, the dental chairs have massaging backs (a pleasant surprise). Dr. Keider also used a laser imaging tool on my molars to see if there were any crevices that could harbor bacteria out of sight. They offer bottled water and sodas in the waiting area, and have a whole little refreshment section. The goodie bag was chock full, too, which, though unnecessary, is much appreciated by a tooth-obsessive like me. Toothbrush, toothpaste, Listerine, dental floss, dental picks - it's like a miniature drugstore! But the best things I can say are about Dr. Keider himself. His exam was very thorough. He checked my TMJ, lymph nodes, thyroid, and tongue in addition to my teeth. He told me exactly what he was doing during the examination, and genuinely and thoroughly answered all my questions. As Christine mentioned, no one tried to sell me anything; he basically said that my teeth look great and there wasn't anything he'd want to do to them. (They didn't even try to get me to do teeth whitening, which I know they offer, and which is practically requisite in dental practices. I appreciated that.) The only little picky complaints I'd have, aside from the booking error, would be that having Fox "News" playing in the waiting area was a real turnoff and that the hours of operation are pretty limited. (However, he's there at 7:30 am on Monday and Wednesday, so it's easy to get an appointment outside normal business hours.) I'd highly, HIGHLY recommend this office.

Dr Keider took X-rays, examined all my teeth and came up with two plans, the most affordable and the one that was as expensive as my car. It all came down to needing five root canals in additions to the missing smile teeth. I had to go with the least expensive options with possibility of implants in the future. Even though I chose the least expensive option, I was treated no differently. I explained my cPTSD and every effort was made to accommodate me. Apparently, everything is easy with nitrous oxide (great stuff!) It's taken a few months, extractions, fillings and a gentle cleaning but I am smiling again. I have two partials but my husband can't tell the 'new' teeth from my own -they are perfectly matched! It's a great comfort knowing that I can strike dental fear out of my life. I enthusiastically recommend Dr Keider and his staff to anyone regardless of what you need, this is a guy you have no regrets trusting.
