STAY AWAY FROM KINGS CROSS KNICKERS. I attempted to purchase knickers from Kings Cross for a golf event that was four weeks out. First issue was that they contacted me two days after I placed my order to tell me that the items I requested were not available. After several calls and rounds with them to find out what was available we picked the replacement and re-ordered. The order included five-day delivery, which would have left plenty of time in our schedule. Second issue is that they never showed up and they never sent the package, I have the UPS information to prove they processed the label but never sent the package the first time. Although we attempted to reach them several times over the course of the week, no one responded to the VMs or emails. Third issue was they processed the payment, so now no order and I was out the money. The order showed up when we were at our golf event, just a few days too late to be of any use to me. Final issue is that I now have a pair of knickers that I do not want and do not need. The crotch of the knickers is 6-8 inches too low and the hem comes below mid calf vs. the +4" past the knee they are supposed to reach. If i can give them a negative star i would. I ordered 2 outfits for a golf themed party and the outfits were way too big and cheaply made. I returned them because the size was way way to big. Yes we tried on the outfits to see the look and the fit, but decided they were too expensive for such a poorly fitting and poorly made outfit. Contacted the company and they sent me a return authorization number. I advised them that the outfits would be returned not in the original packaging because i was in another state (where the party) was being held. We gave my brother a golf themed party and my twin nieces were to were the outfits to serve the appetizers. They tried the on, but it didn't fit, so we sent them back. After 10 emails, 4 calls and only after a threat to contact the BBB did they respond. They claimed that the items were dirty, the tags were off and they were worn. A really good way to keep my money. It's not even about that he money at this point, it's principle. They have terrible business practices, scammers and crooked. Please buy your golf clothing elsewhere! I promise you, no one wore those clothes. This company clearly should not be in business. Having just read the other reviews, I can completely echo the same experience. I placed an order on Oct. 3rd, with no indication that the items were/are on back-order. I tried to contact the company multiple times since then to check on the status of my order. When calling I would just get a recording that all customer service was being handled via email, but they never responded to any of my multiple email messages. Even my recent threat to contact the BBB has elicited no response. When I tried to cancel my order through their web site, I would simply get a message that I would be unable to make any changes to the order, as it is in the last stages of "processing". (It's been in that status for the past several weeks.) The final straw was when I tried to call the company again today and just got a recording that "memory is full". I contacted them the SAME day to return and did so by UPS the following day. Took them a week and three emails before they finally responded and literally answered VERBATIM what they told everyone else - that my items were not returned in the original packaging (they were) and that they had been worn (they were tried on, but not worn). I am currently documenting everything for the BBB because they obviously are a company that cheats their clients. I would ask that everyone else that complained please also contact BBB because my one story might not build the case, but if everyone complains with the same issue, they have to pay attention. If I could give a negative rating I would on this review. Buyer beware that this company is a scam. This company is the worse. I never write reviews and being a former School Superintendent I always try and be patient. However, they refuse to respond to e-mails or phone calls. I have tried for 2 months to resolve an order that they never sent but charged my charge card and I can not get a response. I ordered a pair of pants, one hat and one pair of socks. I received a different order including a different pair of pants, two different hats, and three different socks and nothing I ordered. After a month of leaving daily phone and e-mail messages they finally responded and I returned the wrong items. However for the last month they have refused to answer my phone calls or E-mails and I have not receieved a refund. The company's priority is to sell, but promises of resolution of quality issues and returns are woefully unsatisfactory, if not in fact hostile. I attempted to contact them by phone & e-mail for days regarding returning an order. Finally after several days I received an e-mail to mail back the Order. I advised them it was shipped, also followed up advising the package had been delivered and request information when I would receive a credit. 3 days after receipt of my return they claimed the clothing was covered in cat hair and would have to send the items out for cleaning. They said the cleaning would be completed next day, and the cleaning charges would be deducted from the purchase amount. 5 days went by and didn't receive any update. I sent an e-mail requesting an update. I reached out to the BBA seeking their assistance to resolve the matter. 2 days later I called Kings Cross and spoke to a representative. The person was defensive and combative. He blamed the delay in processing my Return on my decision to escalate (his words) the matter by contacting the BBA. He said that the items were in disgusting condition, that he couldn't respond to my multiple requests for resolution/updates because "they have other customers", and that he wouldn't speak to me again, so don't bother ever calling back again. Never have I dealt with a company that was so disinterested in providing even an ounce of customer service. If I could, I would have given a 0 rating. My advise is to steer clear of this company, as there are others that do care for your business. read more
