Location, beautiful, along the river, great outdoor seating. I'm sure dinner and sunset is stunning. Good, it was okay. We ordered kids breakfast, huevos rancheros skillet thing, chicken and waffles, biscuit and gravy, and the whisky flight. The huevos ranchero was good, nothing to rave over but good. The chicken and waffles didn't come with syrup at first, I'm sure it was a mistake. The biscuit and gravy... looked amazing, but the biscuits were hard. Like rock hard, and even after sitting in the gravy, no moisture would come back. Haha Service... the lady was so sweet, but she kept forgetting us, she would place hot things right in front of the baby where she would easily grab it. She had a hard time splitting the bill. Ultimately we had to ask another waitress for water refill and splitting our bill. Maybe we will go back... but not in a rush.

They currently have an Earl Grey infused Gin with Butterfly Pea Flower in it which gives it a cool blue/purple colour ($49.85 for 750ml). I believe their infused spirits are usually limited run, as we gifted some Hibiscus Gin last year from Dunrobin Distilleries and can't seem to find it anymore. I'm not a big drinker, but I do like to create my own cocktails and the spirits at Dunrobin Distilleries are perfect for that. I haven't tried their bitters but they have interesting flavours such as Celery and Black Walnut. I like that they are small and local and use local ingredients when they can, and when they can't they source from sustainable and non-GMO farms.

You can try three samples of what is on the menu for free. We did just that. Due to covid we were required to buy a packet of pretzels for a buck. I selected cherry moonshine, lemonade moonshine and no 99 bourbon mash. I was a fan of all three. I particularly enjoyed the No99 Bourbon mash After you try your samples you can browse around and shop. Since I really enjoyed my tasting of No 99 Bourbon Mash I purchase a small bottle for $10. On this hot summer day, they were offering whisky slushes. It was such a refreshing treat!
