Please read: I visited this place about a month ago and requested a full body 60 min massage. Things started out ok until the guy began the massage. It was mediocre at best and I remained face down the entire time. Not only was the massage weak and weird, it was over in 45 mins. Since I've never had a massage before I asked the front desk receptionist why your feet are not rubbed in a full body massage and why it was only 45 mins. She began to get loud with an attitude out of no where and told me that I should've known that. She said just leave a tip and go. I told her I already paid for the massage ($55) and that I wasn't paying anything more. Next thing I know this lil Asian guy comes out telling me to leave while she's steady talking sh$t in the background. This little dude actually follows me to my car and stands outside waiting for me to drive off. It took every bit of me to remain in my car and not lay on hands on this guy. All I could do is laugh at that point. These people are CrAZY!! That front desk lady needs to be checked too. If I were a female I would've slapped her on spot. Fix your broke steam room and fake-me-out jacuzzi too. That locker room is full of dirty moldy towels and that jacuzzi water was as cold as toilet water. Im so indifferent about my decision to return. I came here this past Saturday with my 5 friends to celebrate Mothers Day weekend. $25.00 for an hour long reflexology massage and only an additional $10.00 to utilize spa services was great. When we arrived I noticed a child sitting in one of the chairs on a tablet, not being presumptuous, we paid our money,received a bracelet and was lead to a room with approximately 12 foot massage chairs. The staff led us to the rooms and didnt give any direction. We asked around to figure out where the changing room was and was finally told where we could change our clothing. The sizes of the clothing was in Asian sizes. Although I could stand to lose a pound or two..ok maybe 20..I wore a 3X in Kings Spa apparel. If you are a little bigger you will need to change into men's clothing. The bracelet that we received when we first walked in had a number on them and that number corresponded to our locker number. If you touched the round part of the bracelet to the round part of the locker,it opens. Upon changing, we went back into the massage area and each sat with our respective therapist. The therapist were bringing in buckets of water as we sat down and instructed us to put our feet in the water. I must say my therapist started out great. He took his time and was gentle. However, towards the end,once he saw other therapist finishing quick, he hurried to keep up with them. Bummer for me. I would still use him again. The massage room that we were in was close to the employee only area so we heard employees talking and laughing rather loudly during our massage. We wanted to relax so we had to play our own music from our cell phone. After a short while, the staff played melodious and calming music but it was rather low that you could barely hear it. The one child that we saw in the front was later joined by another child as they ran down the hallways making noise, that didnt make for a relaxing massage. The spa services were to include a steam room,infrared sauna, and jacuzzi.They also have a mini fridge with cold towels...well semi cold. We were disappointed to learn that the jacuzzi was only in the men's section because according to the receptionist on duty at that time, "women carry viruses" I dont know how she expected that comment to be received. Needless to say, after much conversation, we were refunded our $10.00 for the spa services since we were not able to full utilize the advertised services. They even gave us the $10.00 in cash. Came here for a 90 minute massage. You pay before your massage starts. I get it, you want your money up front. I don't blame for that! At all. I signed up for aromatherapy 90 minute full body. Honestly, the masseuse finished 10 minutes earlier and took almost ten minutes to go get hot towels. So we'll say I paid for 90 and got about 70. The massage was cool or whatever, mediocre, I would say. My masseuse did make sure I was comfortable, which is something I can appreciate. I probably won't return here unless I'm dying to get a massage and there are no openings anywhere else. They stay open late too. Which is great for the night owls. read more

I brought my mother-in-law here for Mother's Day and it was my first time at Kings Spa. I hesitated to check it out because of the reviews, but my brother recommended this place. I'm glad I checked it out because this is my favorite place for a foot massage now. They have been opened for 3 months. This place is big and clean, there are a lot of private rooms. I didn't have time for the steam room and sauna, but I will check it this weekend. It's $10 for the steam room and sauna if you add it to your massage. The people are nice and also the hours are convenient, but my experience there with getting a full body massage was so excruciating. Usually when people type reviews they tend to over exaggerate to get to the point, but I am being as serious as possible when I say this, I got bruises all over my body. I have been on a huge fitness kick so working out 5x a week is important to me...I thought that maybe getting a massage would loosen up my muscles, but it actually ended up bruising me making it almost impossible for me to work out the next two days. I asked for my person to go lighter on me...he just kept going at the same force that was hurting me. I was grinding my teeth the whole time! :( They're really nice people...I just don't think they understand how much pain my body was enduring for a hour especially for $60! Went here for the first time last night. It's a nice place. Got the 60 minute FULL BODY massage. I've had several full body massages before at other places however the lady who massaged me did NOT do my full body. She didn't do my head or my feet which are two of my favorite parts. I was with someone and her lady did her head and her feet so I'm not sure why those parts were left out of my massage. Probably won't go back. read more

Not impressed at all. I've been to many Spa's domestic and internationally, but this was my first time coming to King Spa. First off, you pay before services are rendered. Then,I was scolded for not tipping 20% before I even received service. I pre-tipped 15% and was told that I needed to tip more, even before a therapist hadn't yet touched my body. I'm a really good tipper (usually 20% or more) but don't follow me telling me I need to tip more. The actual massage was decent. But the therapists kept leaving the room for extended periods of time, and at the end of service, there was massage oil all over my clothes, even though my clothes had been removed. Over all, I had a two hour massage here. The ambiance was nice, but the customer service and massage could have been better. I tipped additionally in cash after service, but we will definitely NEVER return here again. read more

Came here for mothers day to treat mom to a massage. When we arrived we were nicely greeted by the woman at the front desk- her english was understandable but not the greatest. We were told the women don't have access to the jacuzzi for an unknown reason although it mentions it on the website. No big deal though. Her attitude was a bit sassy but i didn't sweat it much. We ended up choosing to have a full body massage at 50 bucks with a mandatory gratuity of 20% which was not a problem but i think one should be able to chose a tip amount based on how the service is. When it was over mom said she enjoyed it, the aesthetician was kind and attentive and it was fairly clean, but we probably wouldn't return. I liked they have private rooms here. My sister and I got a room where there was just 2 chairs. The chairs are comfortable. They soak our feet first and started on our head. My massage guy had big hands and he did the right amount of pressure on my foot. It was a good massage. The lady in the front was friendly as well. read more

My friend recommended this place to me a couple of weeks ago and I was amazed! Ive been to quite a few foot reflexology places in the surrounding Bellaire area and this one is definitely worth it all, hands down. I got the $25 foot massage (but they do the rest of your body too) which lasted for about one hour. The awesome thing is that I came in with my husband as well as my friend and her fiance and were able to get a room for all 4 of us. All of the rooms are private which is great unlike other places where its in an open space and you can hear ALL the noise...I loved that we had this room and 4 masseuses came in to work on all of us (1 each) and that they were basically synchronized! They would all work on one part of us then all would get up and switch areas at the same time. This was great to minimize the noise especially since we were trying to relax. I did hear some whispering amonst them but it was VERY minimal which i also loved because in some places they have full on conversations. The quality of my massage was AWESOME and i'll definitely be coming back for other service so I can give this place the 5 stars it probably deserves. read more

LOVE IT every time I go (except once...continue reading to know why)! I stand in my feet 8-10hrs/day 6 out of 7 days of the week. Coming here is so relaxing and I always feel refreshed when I leave. I come here once or twice a week and I have my regular person I go to. Beware some of them can be a bit rough, while others can be rude. One time I had a lady stop my massage to pick up her phone and stark talking really loud while I was trying to relax. Just found out the person I usually go to is no longer working here...not sure if I want to come back since the service I received from others was just mediocre. :( read more

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. Went for a massage and I could barely relax due to the sounds of heavy breathing in my ear from the masseuse. The massage was okay, I've honestly had better. The deal breaker for me was the lack of professionalism and respect when I left and offered a tip and was refused it and quoted the price of the service instead which left me very confused. I called and spoke with the rep and asked what was the issue and was told their "suggested tip" is 20% of the service cost and that basically was why she and the masseuse had an attitude because I didn't give what they "suggested" I should. A tip is just that, A TIP and I do not feel I should be subjective to give what you suggest after I've already paid for your service and I decide that I want to give xtra. My last experience here was a total disaster! My masseuse was clearly in training so I had an half ass massage :( he couldn't find my pressure points so he literally had put more knots on my body than did it any good. Kept telling him to lessen the pressure because he was hurting me at one point. I was in the room with my friend and he noticed I kept squirming because I was in soooo much pain! Even the other masseuse noticed that he wasn't listening to my requests and had to constantly remind him. These thieves charged me for 70 when it was only suppose to be for 50. the lady with the short hair told me to not worry about tip, you can do that after. so I made sure I zeroed out the tip and signed for only 50 cause i was going to have my son tip them in cash since i paid for both our sessions. after we were done I had my son give them tip in cash for the both of us. haven't called them yet as they are closed but you bet I will. I will never go to any Asian massage place again. update. spoke to the short hair lady and she claims that I had scratched it out and wrote in 20 after my massage. I asked her do you even remember me???? she couldn't answer that cuz she doesn't remember me but swears I came after my session to write in 20. no you fkn thief! my son gave y'all our tip in cash afterwards! I won't be surprised if they pulled this stunt with other customers who tip in cash. according to some other yelpers, they had a bad experience with the front desk lady too. and on my receipt, someone wrote 20 in the tip line and then 20 in the total line after crossing out my 0 & 50. they then wrote 70 in a different place. how you mess up on writing the tip on the receipt that you fraudulently did but claimed it was me? trifiling! another update: i called them this morning to ask if they had cameras. the same lady said i guess. wtf do you mean you guess? it's either a yes or no. then she cuts me off to tell me that she will talk with her boss about this. she then continues to tell me that i came and wrote that in. i told her i was there with 3 other people, my sister paid for herself, and another lady paid for her & her mom. i had my friend checked her transaction cuz i thought maybe they had given her my receipt to put her tip in afterwards but no, she wrote in only 15 for the tip for herself and her mom. so that there, tells me someone from their store wrote that 20 in. she then tells me that she don't remember everything because there are so many customers. ok, then how do you remember me writing in that tip!?!? i told her that you need to check your cameras on that day and you will see that i was sitting down as i watched my son come up to yall and give cash to the 2 ladies that was standing next to the short hair lady (her). she said she would get back to me but i highly doubt since she was all over the place when talking to me. i have already called my bank to dispute the tip amount and they are investigating it. from here on out, i'm going to write cash tip on everything to avoid this and you should too. especially when at an asian owned facility. they are shady as hell! read more

A slice of heaven over here - I have had my fair share of massages, and I love hot stone massages. For hot stone full body massage, this is probably one of the best I've had thus far. The masseuse really listens and is attentive to the sensitivity of my back, which is incredibly tight from lifting weights and long hours behind a computer. Sometimes I feel cheated with my hot stone experience, but I feel like they did a really great job here. One of the cleanest spas I've been to in Chinatown, and it's nice and quiet. Amazing place for a nice massage before bedtime. I like that they open late but the service is still top-notch. The place is spacious and kinda luxurious, super clean. Also, they don't put customers altogether in a big communal room like other places in Bellaire but you get a private room which I love. I'm deducting one star because we called to ask if they have hot tubs and were told yes, but when we arrived we found out only the men's area has tubs. So that was disappointing. But the woman showed us around and was very nice and we decided to stay. I got the 1 hour salt scrub, which is actually a massage and dry salt scrub. The massage was awesome, pressure sometimes too much, but she was very aware of my every sound and movement and checked in with me frequently. A few times I had to say, not so much pressure and she accommodated . The salt scrub was nice. I didn't feel like several layers of skin were rubbed off the way I have at some Korean Spas but I did feel nice and polished. The steam room, sauna and showers were all fine. They don't have the sit down shower stalls though. My only suggestion is if you are a bigger girl, bring your own lounge clothes while you wait in the lounge room. First of all the place is decent.. my husband and i decided to do the foot and body massage.. the room where they do the foot massage is nice and the sofas are confortable but the water is a bit cold, i kept asking the lady more hot! And she kept bringing cold water. It took us a while to understand each other and finally when she brought the hot water it wasn't even hot no more.. the body masage felt like they were in a hurry to finish and exit the room. She did my neck too fast and it felt it like she was just doing it to get over with it. Very nice that there is something like a foot spa open late ! It is very clean, and we are frequent customers since they opened. There is a huge room for ladies and men for steam/ sauna. Price is fair , the steam/sauna is 10 dollars extra. I think they should include it in their price instead of paying it separately. There times, we had to go back out front and pay before we can use the steam/ sauna. It changed the mood real quick... you pay everything first before starting. The massage ladies were always very good and used pressure . Very nice place to come with friends or couples and family ! This is a nice spa with different amenities. Of course you would have to pay extra if you want to use the steam room/sauna/hot tub. Btw hot tub isn't available in the ladies room. It's a hit or miss with the masseuse. You can get a really good one who can feel where your tensions & knots are or get a real shitty one that just rush through and barely does anything. I always have a list but seems like all the good ones leaves so I get a new person every time. read more
