It honestly doesn't get much better than this. I came in for a 60 minute combination massage which includes foot reflexology and full body massage. I was led to a cubicle like semi-private room and seated in an oversized chair. The ambiance was quiet and dark with red mood lighting and soft elevator music playing in the background. The masseuse started me with my feet in a hot water bath and a warm compress under my back. The beginning of the massage is head, shoulders, and then feet and legs. I was then moved to a fully private massage table where my back was massaged. I was pleasantly surprised by hot stones toward the end! You really get the bang for your buck here. My boyfriend and I had a great experience at this spa. We went in wanting the traditional 60 minute foot massage or reflexology. The owner suggested we do the combo, half reflexology and half back massage. We were pleasantly surprised that the back massage was like a traditional Swedish or deep tissue massage. They even included complimentary hot stone at the end id that massage. We've had many combo massages at reflexology spas and the body portion had never been a oil massage. "YES! An Asian foot spa in Sugar Land! No more stressful driving through swarms of Asians for a massage in Chinatown!" was the first thing I thought. The other 5 star reviews were very reassuring, however they were also very uninformative. Had my massage been any less satisfying, I would have given them 2 stars. I called to make a reservation for two people, requesting two female masseuses. This is mandatory whenever my boyfriend and I go for massages together. Here are the major problems I faced during my experience: 1. Our appointment was for 6 PM. We arrived on time and they were not ready for us for about 5 to 10 minutes. 2. My boyfriend's massage began almost right away. I was told to wait 10 more minutes (which was really 15 minutes). I basically laid there for 10 to 15 minutes with a towel over my face. 3. I peeked out from my towel right before my massage began, only to discover a man preparing to massage me. We specifically asked for two WOMEN. We switched masseuses. They later informed us that they never have two females available on the weekends. 4. They kept the lobby door propped open the entire time, which let enough light in to keep me from relaxing. 5. My masseuse relentlessly tried up-selling us in the middle of the massage. At one point she said, "You want 30 minute foot massage, 30 minute table massage? $40 for couple." I agreed to this thinking it was a crazy good deal. We later realized the "miscommunication" and reneged our agreement. 6. My whole massage was great, except for the foot/leg massage, which turned out to be a bunch of repetitive strokes that kept me wanting more. Hello Irony. We were not the only ones complaining. While I was awkwardly waiting for my massage, another woman had just finished hers. She was annoyed, saying, "That was too short. I got here at 5:40, and it's only 6:20." The masseuse said that she was wrong. She then went on to complain that she had also been promised 2 women for a couples massage when there was obviously only 1 woman available. Did I get a nice massage? Yes. Nearly exceptional, besides the foot and leg area. Was I able to relax? Barely. Their chairs, blankets, and even lotion are higher quality than most foot massage parlors, and yet not enough to make up for all their mishaps. At $5 more than their Bellaire competitors, I would expect better service. I would gladly tack on 8 minutes more to my drive to get the same, if not better, experience at a cheaper price. read more

My feet and legs were sore from standing all day, I had a slight headache, my back ached.... Most foot reflexology places were further off Bellaire, but luckily this place was close by the hospital! It's $5 more expensive than its Bellaire competitors, and I wasn't expecting much after skimming other reviews and hearing awful things... but I can tell you this: this was the first reflexology I'd ever been to that was able to make me FALL ASLEEP! I was SO relaxed!!! My masseuse's name was John, and his technique was very different. He didn't knead my knots out like most ppl do, but instead used a tactic that involved gradually increasing pressure while slowly pushing different (pressure?) points on my body. At first I wasn't used to it, but after a few minutes I could literally feel the stress being pushed out of my body... No joke I was melting through the chair. I could feel the hardships from the day vanishing inch by inch. Im usually pretty good at staying awake during massages too so I can remember the relaxation... But after he finished head and arms and started on my feet, I started drifting to sleep without even realizing it. Bravo, John! I made sure to dramatically check the time on my phone before he began to see if I'd get jipped like how others reported they were. But my massage lasted exactly 60 min on the dot! It seemed every part of me was worked on for the same amount of time too. He never rushed any part of it, nor did I hear a timer being used like at other places. His routine must be super perfected. Also loved how dim this place was. The ambience was perfect. I will definitely be returning here even though they are a little pricier. Don't forget to put the stamp card they give you in a safe place! (Purchase 10 massages, get the 11th free). Oh, and this place is for "professional massage" only! No "sexual massaging" ! This is actually my second time visiting this foot spa. Both experiences were very pleasant. Asian foot massages are pretty popular in Houston, but this is the first one I've seen in Sugar Land. This is definitely worth more than $25. It's practically a full body massage. The massage begins on the forehead with a scalp scratch- if you're not particularly into people in your hair, let that be known. The massage covers your feet, arms, legs, and back all while your feet soak in warm water. About 45 minutes in, you are taken to another room with a massage table. The only reason I'm not rating with 5 stars is because on my second visit I brought 2 friends. I called ahead to assure none of us would have to wait- I was taking into consideration that it was a Tuesday night and it may a little under staffed. I have come here several times through the years. For the most part I've had a good experience. Today we called and asked if we could make an appointment for 2 people. They said yes. We set the appointment. We showed up 5 min early. In broken English they said they could see one. I tried asking if they meant one right now and hen the other delayed. They just shook their head yes. So I let my wife go first. Once they started on her massage a guy comes out and says they can't see me. They are too busy. But during my 10 minutes sitting here, 2 people have left after their massage was finished. I understand if the people who work here are tired.... but why did they even take he appointment? Like many foot spas in Houston, this one is understated and unassuming but oh so good! My wife and I have been to Relax several times now, and anyone else we've told about this place loves it too. It has a nice, relaxing, comfortable atmosphere and the staff are great. We normally do the 60 minute foot massage, which comes with a good dose of body rubbing as well. Today we tried the combination massage, 30 minute foot and 30 minute body, and it was terrific. Definitely a "best of both worlds" experience. The prices are super reasonable too. My massage was great. I had to fight to stay awake during the foot part since it was so relaxing. I even liked the face massage which I'm sure some people might find awkward( eyebrow rubs and fingers in ears, etc) but I'm familiar with their routine so it didn't bother me. I felt tingles from head to toe and I was very relaxed. Was not uncomfortable at all with a male being that I was fully clothed. New decor is very zen. I hope they stay in business.
