We found this place on google and gave it a try. The location could use some updating on the outside but is in a good high traffic area. Now I'm probably one of the harshest critics when it comes to sushi. The sushi options are decent for the all you can eat but was standard in the opinion of this sushi snob The egg drop soup, gyoza and squid salad was great! The rice did not appear to be made with rice vinegar as it tasted bland. I also wish they had some more flavorful options. The service was good as we were seated right away and did not have to wait long for food. They consistently came and replenished orders one after the other. My favorite was the mackerel nigiri as it was fresh and melted in the mouth. My recommendation is to try and have some rolls that incorporate more of a citrus flavor and or ponzu sauce.

We went there on a Sunday evening. The food came out fast. Highly recommend the hibachi steak and the teriyaki chicken. The sushi rolls were great. Service was good. Great value for the money. Ambiance was decent. They have local student or military discount.

Friendly 4 Stars - Solid Spot for AYCE Sushi in the Carolinas! We visited King's Sushi for dinner around 5pm, and I'm glad we did--because by 5:45pm, the place was buzzing! It's clearly a local favorite, and for good reason. The staff was super friendly, service was quick, and everything came out fresh and tasty. As far as All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) sushi goes, this was a solid experience--family-friendly, well-run, and overall satisfying. Is it the best sushi I've ever had? Not quite. (Southern CA girl here--our food diversity out West is next-level.) But for this area, King's holds its own and definitely hits the spot when you're craving a sushi night out. If you're going for the ambience, it's pretty unremarkable. I would personally recommend some music in the background. The place dated, but clean. Would I go again? Yep.

They were short staffed but still delivered great service and food! Our waiter remained relaxed and was helpful and kind. For the price of the lunch buffet it was definitely worth it! I recommend the Kani Salad (cucumber and crab meat salad), the Crab Rangoon, and Steak Teriyaki (no rice or vegetables). I would NOT recommend the Pork Gyoza or Yakisoba Noodles. Also be aware the icecream is a cheap store bought in a cup, but was surprisingly good, even after feeling stuffed!!

Good sushi option in the area. Is it the best sushi I've ever had? No, but I didn't expect it to be. Surprisingly, there aren't a ton of really good sushi options in this area, and I'd venture to say Kings is probably the best one. I ordered to go on a Tuesday evening to bring back and enjoy by the water. It was fast, took about 20 minutes from when I called it in. Speaking of calling in, if you do takeout, call vs ordering online and it'll save you about $8. I've never eaten in here so haven't been able to take advantage of the AYCE deal and can't speak to it but I'd say to strive for that if you can because, of course, it is a much better deal. My 4 rolls were $46. I definitely over ordered but my growling stomach got the best of me, as it usually tends to do :) It's located in the Piggly Wiggly shopping center on the end. Parking was a breeze. The place itself is pretty cozy inside. It's a typical sushi type spot. It didn't seem extremely busy but had some patrons. I ordered a Crunchy, Rainbow, White Dragon, and Orchard roll. They were all good! My favorites were the Crunchy and Rainbow. The fish and shrimp were really fresh. I didn't love the crabmeat, although it did have a peppery kick which was a nice surprise. Prices were pretty fair, especially for the size of the rolls. The white sauce (or yum yum) wasn't my favorite, but it's good! It's pretty standard with other places, I just prefer a whiter sauce (I promise I'm not as picky as I sound!) Overall, I'd come back here. I definitely want to do the AYCE and I'd also like to check out their hibachi. There's plenty of menu items and something for everyone to enjoy.

Let me get straight to the point...The food is good and if Jordan is your waiter, you have hit the jackpot at King Sushi. This is a great date night, family night, or girls/guys night out spot. The winner for me is that they serve Sapporo! If you know you know. Jordan also makes a mean Arnold Palmer. Just the right mix of tea and lemonade. If you are local to or visiting Myrtle Beach, check this spot out. Happy Eating!

Came to $30.93 after tax for all you can eat sushi dinner. I was really happy with the selection and service. Was nice and quiet, rolls/ everything else came out within 5 mins of ordering. Austin was really good about checking on me and customizing some things. It's all made to order and was petty great quality. I know $30 seems maybe like a lot but if you to a sushi place getting 2-3 rolls by itself would be $30 & I got multiple rolls, 2 soups, 3 appetizers, etc.

I got take out and you just don't do that at an all you can eat sushi restaurant. It's not what they do or should do. I love sushi and this was equal to getting grocery store sushi. Lots of rice and just a little meat. Not saying it was bad but just have your expectations. I was looking for a cheap dinner and it fit that and met my expectations. If your looking for true amazing sushi this isn't it but I'll scratch the itch. Very nice staff who took order. Asked for kids chopsticks and they gave me a couple extra, which was nice. Daughter was very happy to use them and work on holding chopsticks. 2 year old attempted which was pretty cute to watch. Big inside. Was not expecting it. Must do a lot of business with the tourist crowd.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised by this place. AYCE rolls, nigiris, sushi & kitchen appetizers, hibachi, and ice cream to top it off. Service was prompt and friendly. We had Caine (sp?) he was attentive and took care of us well. Apps: we like the squid salad, gyoza, shrimp shui mai, jalapeño yellowtail, peppered tuna. We didn't like the chicken Katsu (too thin, heavily bartered, over fried, served with a sweet chili and not katsu sauce too). Worthy of nothing that the salmon bowls are more kani than salmon and it's torched. Not to bad, but just not what we expected. Everything else was pretty standard to what we expected. Hibachi: comes with the proton, side veggies, and rice. Steak was over cooked but it was in small pieces. We enjoyed the veggies and shrimp. Sushi: nigiri came with hefty amount of rice as expected with most AYCE places. However, the rice proportions for the rolls were very reasonable. All the rolls were fairly enjoyable. Only one we didn't like was the crunchy spicy salmon one. Fish didn't have any fishy taste but wasn't the freshest either. Drinks: alcohol was surprisingly affordable here. I think an entire bucket (5) of domestic was $13? Our server let us mix and match which was a plus. For the price point, I think this was an enjoyable experience. Great service & cheap beer is definitely the cherry on top.

Loved this place so much that we went twice during our MB vacation! Perfect spot for families! It's super easy to order because you just mark the paper with all that you want. The servers are very attentive! Amber was great! It's worth the all you can eat especially for dinner so you can get unlimited yellowtail jalapeño and salt and pepper tuna - so good!! Highlights to the meal: Christmas roll, spider roll, orchard roll, hibachi steak, hibachi shrimp, katsu chicken, shrimp tempura. yummy yummy sauce, spicy Mayo. The kani salad is kinda dry but you can add spicy Mayo to it and it's delicious. The hibachi entrees come with veggies and fried rice- the steak was tender and the shrimp was juicy! The ice cream for dessert was hit or miss, both times mine was a bit freezer burned but my family didn't notice it in theirs. If you're looking for a good sushi/hibachi all you can eat, definitely give this place a try!

If you ever had good sushi before don't bother going to this one, you will not like it. We couldn't finish our meal because it was not good at all. Customer service was great tho they didn't charge us for left overs and gave us a discount.

The quality of the sushi was pretty good for an all you can eat sushi place! Such a wide selection of rolls with extremely fast service. Our orders came in no time. There is plenty of seating as well, and we were able to get seated immediately during lunch time. So satisfied with my meal!!

By far the worst excuse for sushi I have ever come across. Not worth the time it takes to review.

As someone who has worked in this industry, I recognized just how chaotic it was for the staff. However, the service from start to finish was impeccable. And the food was absolutely delicious. All of these folks had several people to deal with from moment to moment, yet they treated each interaction at a very personal and attentive level. I would like to give particular emphasis on the two ladies at the front desk/hostess stand. I believe one of them was named London if I recall correctly. Absolutely amazing service from them. And the bartender, her name was Tina. She was by herself and getting absolutely slammed with orders from the restaurant and people waiting to be seated. And while we were there, there was also an upset customer she was trying to handle a dispute with, yet she handled that, and everyone else waiting in queue, with absolute professionalism and kindness. The server, and the hibachi chef, were also very good and warm and welcoming. Very impressed with how everybody handled such a chaotic night. We will be back. And hopefully London, and Tina, and everyone else will be working because we know we're in good hands there. Thank you all so much for a wonderful Christmas Eve meal. Highly recommend this place.

So I asked about ordering hibachi to go because it looks similar to what we have in California called Benihana. They said they cannot take orders over the phone we had to come in and order and wait. So I came in after looking at the webpage knowing exactly what I wanted to order for sushi because I can't order hibachi. I asked what the deal was with the hibachi and they said that they don't do hibachi to go; only on Sundays. I said OK so then if people come in they can have hibachi any day? She said no it's completely random when they get a hibachi chef in. I said so in other words people have to call and see if you even have a hibachi chef? She said yes it's very frustrating for everybody. I said that's very unprofessional and I don't know how a business can do that. I was brought over to where I order sushi and the menu is completely different than their webpage. I asked the guy about the rolls that I wanted to order and I pulled up the webpage showing him that the menu they have here is completely different than online and the prices are different. I told the guy he needs to tell the manager that they need to fix their webpage so that it's accurate with menu items and pricing. So they get an F for them not keeping everything updated, no online or phone orders and not even having a hibachi chef that's on staff every day it's just ridiculous. When I gave the guy money to pay for my stuff he's sitting there waiting there as if I'm gonna tip him. You don't need to tip on to go orders.... you're not providing me a service that deserves a tip, plus he kept my change anyways. When I got my rolls I took them to go. They were not made with the ingredients that they were supposed to be made with. One was extremely blah and flavorless. The other was just ok.
