These items were in a pile of wood chips from king's trees

Do not recommend getting wood chips from Kings trees. It's full of misc garbage: 3 gloves, 1 food containers, shreds of pink and green plastic strips, shredded blue and green wires, 1 log, a few hundred u chipped branches. The pictures are a compilation of everything within one truck load of chips.

Drooping fence panels and broken post toppers as well as snapped two posts. Took no accountability. Plenty of room on other side. In a rush.

Tony is a great guy and if you get him at the site, then you'll get solid service and clean-up. If he sends one of his crews and he isn't there, which is happening more and more with his son running things, then expect some damage and low accountability. In this case, they had the opportunity to drop the limbs of a tree on the side where there is nothing in the way but in their haste, they just dropped them on the fence and on another property. They then jumped over the fence (even when receiving approval to enter the adjacent backyard via a gate, and because the fence was a little older, they snapped two posts by dropping several large limbs and jumping over the fence. When speaking with the neighbor just to try and repair the fence, not even placing accountability on the workers, the crew lead looked at me and said, "We didn't do that." Ouch on accountability since they certainly did do it. You can see from the photo that the branches they were dropping, took out section of fence drooping down and several post toppers were broken off. Anyway, I'll use King's only if Tony confirms he'll be there. If not, I'll use the several other quality tree services near me which I have on several occasions.

    Limbing a tall dead fir.

They chipped up the branches, cut the logs into firewood lengths, and cleaned up the debris afterward.

The on-site crew- Brian, Donnie and Tyler-were great. They were on time, kept me continually informed of their process, made suggestions and improvements to prevent future damage, answered any questions I had and were always polite. The cleanup was nice as well. This was my first experience with a tree service and would hire them again if needed!

I really appreciated how they owned the entire end-to-end process, including coordinating directly with the city on the permit. That made everything much easier for me. The crew did an amazing job on both visits. Their pruning work was incredibly precise, and everything looks beautiful. They also did a thorough job cleaning up afterward, leaving the yard in great condition. There was a minor misunderstanding between myself and the project manager initially, but Eastside Tree Works handled it exceptionally well. They followed up with me, took the time to listen and understand exactly what I wanted, and promptly sent the crew back to complete the additional work. The crew truly went above and beyond. This was my second time working with Eastside Tree Works, and I would absolutely hire them again. I continue to recommend them to others. I really appreciate their customer service and love supporting small businesses like this. It's not always easy to find companies that care this much about doing great work and making sure their customers are happy. Thank you! And, extra shout out to Amanda. She is the best.

Our first job was a major one: removing a very large tree--well over 100 feet tall--that was leaning toward our home. It was not an easy decision, as we loved that tree, but safety came first. The care, professionalism, and respect MTS showed throughout the process meant everything to us. The work was done safely and expertly, the cleanup was immaculate, and the crew treated the situation with genuine understanding. It was clear right away that this is not just a tree removal company--these are true arborists who deeply understand and respect the trees they work with. Years later, when our landscape needed attention again, MTS was the obvious choice. We had overgrown laurels we couldn't safely trim ourselves, neighboring trees contributing constant pine needles to our gutters, and several shrubs that needed proper pruning and reshaping. MTS sent an arborist to walk the property with us, listen carefully, explain our options, and help us prioritize the work within a realistic budget. There was no pressure--just knowledgeable, honest guidance. The crew that completed the work was outstanding: professional, articulate, thoughtful, and incredibly clean. They did all the pruning we discussed, answered our questions, and even offered species-specific advice--explaining how certain pruning choices would improve the long-term health and appearance of our plants rather than harm them. We plan to use MTS Tree and Landscape every couple of years for ongoing pruning and for all future tree and landscape needs. It is rare to find a company this skilled, respectful, and genuinely invested in their clients' property. We cannot recommend them highly enough.
