had to use a taxi for two one way trips back in the summer time, sadly this was because there was…read moreno bus service to where I needed to go (portlands on a sunday) both drivers that I had were very chatty but professional throughout the whole driving experience, the cars were really clean and kept well. my complaints were that because I was a solo passenger I got into the back seat and they had the front passenger seat allllllllll the way to the back resulting in me smashing my knees going in and going out of the vehicle. in a jam I would use them again, but I would probably pick alternative means in the future. (I wont say the word, but im sure you can figure it out)

I was quoted a flat rate of $30 that includes loading and unloading the boxes door to door. When asked if I have to order ahead of time, he said to call when I'm ready. On July 18 I phoned for a mini van at 3:07 am. The agent said it would be 15-20 minutes. I had 13 medium size boxes and 4 bags. I moved all the boxes and bags down to the ground floor by the side door. Each time I called I was told they're still trying then I was told I'd have better luck after 6 am when drivers begin work. Why didn't they tell me that at the beginning? After waiting 4 hours finally they found a mini van. The driver showed up but balked at the boxes saying it's $40 for him to move them. I agreed. What else could I do? The boxes were not heavy. I'm 5 ft and 71 yrs old with a neck injury. If I could move them, how heavy could they be? The driver told me to move the bags myself. First he went the wrong way going to St. Joseph Hospital. All the way to the other building he complained. He showed me a $50 bill saying that's what the previous customer paid him for a drop off at St. Joseph Hospital. I said I'd file a complaint and he called City Taxi and complained that he had to move 20 boxes! When we arrived at the destination I gave him a $10 tip because I was worried that he wouldn't unload. The driver essentially made a $20 tip on a $30 ride. First, it's false advertising by City Taxi of doing "small moves", then it's a scam when I had no option but to agree to whatever demands the driver made. What was I to do with all my belongings? Never again would I use City Taxi!!!

Every time you call they always give you excuses whether it be too early in the morning or busy with clients, which is a lie because they're just switching shifts. Even in the afternoon they give an excuse such as shortage of drivers and to be honest uber is a much better option than AAA Best Choice Taxi.

Finally, frustrated we called Beck Taxi and they arrived within 15 minutes - she was on her way 1 1/2 hours after her scheduled appointment time. Of couse this caused her to be late for her specialist appointment. Such poor service - I would never recommend this company!!

How can you call yourself an airport bus when you don't have room for the big-ass bags people are carrying? The airport bus in Montreal had space for bags, just saying. When I rode it this week, going to the airport it stopped at Terminal 1 first and then Terminal 3 and then headed back to Kipling. My total commute time from Osgoode Station downtown to Terminal 3 was 1 hour and 10 minutes....longer than a cab for sure, but only $3 so I had a lot of extra beer money. When I called for a taxi the taxi driver answered and said" hello!!" I had to ask if I called the taxi. The taxi arrived in my house in 15 min and he asked if I was going to need a ride back home, I said yes and he said I would have to find another taxi back. On the way there he would have taken a long way because he didn't know where he was and had no GPS, I had to guide him to my destination not to mention that he was on the phone half way talking in Arabic The driving wad not good, he kept switching lanes. It would be hit or miss when hailing a cab to take me to the airport. Often, I'd be waiting for a while and needed to factor at least an extra a half an hour. Roughly five years ago, the company moved to the other side of the airport. I asked my boyfriend which taxi company he calls, as he travels for business more than I do for business and pleasure combined. He recommended All Star Taxi. I have called this company ever since whenever I need to head over to Pearson. I still have the option of parking in the lot at the office and calling a cab. The folks on the phone are always pleasant, even when I am asking for one at 6 am. It has caller ID. I am considered a regular that my name and work location automatically pop up in the system, which saves everyone time. All Star Taxi is roughly five minutes away from my workplace. It's enough time for me to drop all my luggage in front of my office building, drive my car to the underground parking lot, and walk over to my luggage. A taxi appears immediately. It's like magic and it's impressive. You get text messages letting you know how far away your taxi is. It's a nice touch. It's almost ridiculous to get them considering that it takes little time for it to arrive at the office. Drivers are always polite and help load my luggage into the trunk. It accepts credit cards, which I always use. I get to the airport with one less thing to worry about. These days, All Star Taxi has an app that you can use to hail a cab. This morning when my regular taxi company was unavailable, I looked online and found All Star Taxi…read more Being my first experience with All Star, I didn't know what to expect, but their car arrived quickly and as the driver got out to put my walker in the trunk, he smiled and said "Good Morning". What a nice surprise that was! After dealing in the past with the rage of some taxi drivers because of short trips, I apologized to the All Star driver for today's short trip but he said, "No problem." When we arrived at my destination the driver got my walker out of the trunk and set it up for me while wishing me a nice day. A very pleasant trip with a good driver in a nice clean car. Later when calling to arrange a ride back home, I was advised that no cars were available and it would be a half hour so I agreed to wait. After the half hour I called again, and was assured a car was on the way. Shortly afterwards it arrived and once again the driver was very helpful. When we arrived at my home, the driver took my walker out of the trunk even arranged the groceries on it so they were easier to for me to carry.
