What really bothered me was during or after the fact that I spent $200.00 of my hard earned money on plants, not one person thanked me for my visit. We went to the festival, paid $10 to get in, spent $100 with vendors, waited on line for 15 minutes for one of the two port-a-pots available, another 15 minutes for some lunch from the ONLY food truck, again no thank you there either. What happened to any type of common courtesy? There were 5 young people at the register when I bought plants and they looked at me as a bother! Why would I ever return? read more

Kinman is a great family trip! The pumpkin selection is always great in the fall and oh my goodness the apple cider is delicious. Make sure you do all the fun activities in the tent and take the hayride back to the corn maze. The animals are all sweet and you can buy and icecream come full of feed to give to them. They have a camel, miniature horse, miniature donkey, sheep, goats, a pig, a really sweet cow, and multiple types of birds. I recommend kinman for anyone with or even without kids. I'd be very happy with a date day at kinman to enjoy the beautiful farm and all the great activities. read more

I was hoping for a better experience early Friday morning. The farm is well set up and easy parking and lost cost of $10 per adult and free for under 2. This includes a mini pumpkin for each person. The fall festival gets 4 stars . However they are not following COVID rules. By 11am, there were over 50 people not wearing masks. The hayride was out because of other adults not wanting to wear their masks. It was too big of risk. I reported it to the staff upfront and they were rude and said it was fine. Law says it's fine because it's outside. We didn't stay long. I hope no one gets Covid. read more

We visit Kinman Farms for Halloween and Christmas every year. They have a lot of different products to choose from and our daughter loves the petting zoo and games they have setup. This is our go to location for Mums, wreaths, pumpkins and flowers. read more

The kiddo and I came here for a family toddler's birthday party. The toddler's mom had reserved a little picnic area, which we rode the hayride to (thank goodness for it, since it was an especially muddy day). We came on a Saturday afternoon, and it was extremely busy, so keep in mind that you may get trapped between cars due to the limited parking availability. Because of the birthday party admission, my daughter and I each only paid $7/apiece to get in. This admission covered the hayride, and picking out two small pumpkins (I don't know how much it cost for regular admission. We also had use of the grill, which we cooked hotdogs on. The kiddo and I also bought some other treats, hot chocolates (surprisingly good and not too expensive), and we split one of the most delicious apple dumplings that I have ever had. I am a huge sucker for old fashioned apple treats, so I greatly enjoyed the plump little pastry-covered apple, smothered in a cinnamon-y, allspice-y sauce. I thought it was a very reasonable price ($5), I just wish that they would've had the option of microwaving it real quick for a warm treat. I do like to patronize locally owned businesses like Kinman, I just wish the prices could be a little bit more competitive/consistent/reasonable. For example, I bought enough miniature pumpkins, Indian corn and gourds to make a pretty fall centerpiece for home - everything was very cheap, as were the hot chocolates and apple dumpling. However, it was hard for me to justify spending $15 for a regular pumpkin at Kinman, when I knew that I could pick them up for $3.99 at Kroger. Overall, I enjoyed visiting Kinman, and I think it would be a fun time for families with little ones (my preteen was itching to go after about an hour). read more

If you are looking for a pumpkin patch, Kinman should hit the spot! As of fall 2018, it only cost $10 and that includes a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, hayride, corn maze, games for kids, corn hole, access to playground equipment and more! They also had fires where you could make s'mores and a petting zoo at the main barn. I took my little sister here on Halloween. We had a really nice time. First, and my favorite part, we went to their petting zoo. They had a camel, miniature horses, a cow, goats, sheep, pigs, alpacas, chickens, ducks, and peacocks. You can feed them also. My little sister started to feed an alpaca then realized how ugly it was (mean I know) and went to feed a sheep instead, then the alpaca got really mad and spit right in my husband's face! That was a very memorable moment. Ha! After that we took a hayride over to the pumpkin patch, where they also had a playground, a concession stand, and a live band. The band wasn't that great lol, but what can you say? It was pretty cheap for everything we did. They had a corn maze also, which makes for cool pics... other than that it's not too cool for adults but for kids it's pretty awesome. Kinman is our go-to spot. Neltners was our usual until we found Kinman several years back. On the front lawn they have larger & medium pumpkins ranging from $5-$10. Many animals such as goats, camel, cow, chickens, sheep. You can buy feed in an ice cream cone for $1.00. They also have pony rides for $3.00. It's $9.00 (use the $1.00 off coupon on their site) which gets you a hay ride back to their main event area. Live music, playground, bond fire (s'mores kits to purchase or marshmallows), a free small pumpkin per person, face painting, lazer tag ($3.00), a mini hayride, corn maze, an area with activities for the kids (pumpkin painting, sand boxes filed with corn kernels & trucks), and a good selection of food & drinks. Hot dogs, brats, Mets, pulled pork, soft pretzels, nachos & cheese, chips, fried Twinkie, funnel cakes, soft drinks & water. They have a large covered eating area with picnic tables & a covered tent area with extra seating. Overall, Kinman is a great place for the entire family. The staff has always been friendly & they have created a great family atmosphere. 2 words: FUNNEL. CAKE. I had been on the fence about going for their Fall Festival, since I thought it might be too kid-centric and I was looking for more of a date night activity. But when I called to get the scoop and I heard "we have funnel cakes at the picnic shelter", I was SOLD. I didn't think I'd be seeing another funnel cake til next summer! We got there and waited a few minutes for the hayride that takes you to the picnic shelter, bonfire, and corn maze. When we got there, the driver told us we could each pick a pumpkin from the patch. They were small, but they had different sized larger ones up front for sale, too. Besides funnel cake goodness, the concession stand also sold hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches, nachos 'n cheese, chips, smores, and caramel apples. They had 2 different bonfires going and lots of cornhole boards and ladder golf. But the best part of the night for me was the mini-petting zoo. They had a camel, goats, sheep, piglets, and wallabies! My favorite. It was fun watching little kids interact with the animals. Overall, it was a great fall fun experience. I recently visited Kinman farms on a perfect fall day. In all, we had 2 kids (ages 6 and 7) and four adults on this trip. I didn't expect much going into the day. I kind of thought, ok we will show up, do the hayride, grab a pumpkin, and head home in time for the 1 pm kickoff of the Bengals game. Instead, we ended up spending much of the afternoon at Kinman farms and each one of us made some great memories and had a fun time with our kids. Before we left the area near the parking we visited the animals. There are a lot of unique animals here that I didn't expect to see. Llamas, peacocks, a bull, and ponies that the kids could ride. Once we took the hayride over to the main area of the pumpkin patch we were presented with a lot of fun options. Face painting, pumpkin bowling, laser tag for the kids, firepits for relaxing, tetherball, a playground area, cornhole, a corn maze, and even live music. Neither of the kids in our group grew bored thanks to all the fun options and wide variety of activities. I enjoyed the corn maze as my kids tried to find their way out without our help. We spent a good amount of time in there, but we had some good laughs as we kept ending up back at the start. We eventually made it out of there and we all high fived and made our way to the grill for some drinks and to make s'mores. I've been to other pumpkin patches before, but I really enjoyed Kinman. I came for the corn maze and was more entertained by the hot chocolate and the petting zoo. The price is right for the whole experience ($5) but the maze left me wanting something a little more challenging and larger. Oh well, it was cold so ending quickly was fine at the time. I warmed up with a wonderful cup of hot chocolate topped with whipped cream AND chocolate drizzle, for the wallet busting price of a dollar! Love it. The workers were friendly and charming, from the grandfatherly hay ride driver to the young kids making funnel cake and other goodies. The animals seemed happy to see everyone and I found one particular horned goat to be hilarious. One is able to purchase animal feed for a single dollar. There was even a camel (in Kentucky!?) and a peacock that graced this "zoo". You can't beat the prices for the food and refreshments, so if you have a family or are with a group, this is a very low cost and entertaining-enough activity. Went last fall with a friend and her son, and we all had a great day. The petting zoo was fun, as was the tractor ride. They have multiple tractors going to accommodate the large number of guests, so the wait wasn't very long. We had a few snacks they sold there, and they were very good. My only complaint was about the "pumpkin patch." It was just a bunch of small pumpkins thrown in an area. That's really the only thing that I think could use some improvement. I purchase 9 ( 5 foot tall ) White Pine in Dec 2010, planted too weeks later. When spring came, they were turning brown in color and dried out by spring, they were all dead except 1 and doing well. I called several times and left messages on there recorder,but no call backs so in time I just gave up.That will be the last 600.00 I'll spend there. So my point is just buy your trees from the big box stores like Home Depot or Lowe's were you can take back with no regrets! read more

I have taken my grandkids to Kinman Farms in the past, but this year I was very disappointed. It cost me $70 for a trolley, pumpkin, and chance to fight to get by the one firepit. If my youngest grandson hadn't had light up shoes on, I would have lost him in the complete darkness. When I asked about the actual hayride, I was told "we eliminated that because some people are allergic to hay". My question, why would you pay to go on a hayride, if you were allergic to hay? After we rode the trolley to the field, I was told I could have driven my car and saved that portion of my $70 entertainment fee. I believe the establishment figured out people were enjoying their place and they could make more money because of it. Sad day. read more

As we pulled in to park we were directed to go left. We followed the vehicle in front of us down by the pony stable where an older man was standing with an orange flag. I drive a pretty big truck so I asked if I could back in. He responded with a very nasty tone "why not, I'm not swamped here, do what you want", then stormed off up the hill. I looked in my mirror and there were no cars behind me so I'm not sure what he was swamped with. Ad for the Fall Festival indicates open until 10:00. A group arrived (all from out of town) and were told that the last ride to the corn maze left at 9:00. It was 8:55 and were told we were too late. We were all very disappointed and the employees did not seem to care. If you're considering having your wedding/reception at Kinman Farms - you may want to think again. I was thinking about having my wedding/reception here. Notice "WAS" thinking about it. After being unsuccessful getting information by email or phone my fiance and I decided to make the drive out to see if we could speak to someone in person. We were hoping to have a few questions answered and I wanted to show him the venue as I was just there a couple of weeks before with family for their fall fest. I thought it would be the perfect place. That was until we met Lauren (at least that's what I think her name was - not positive). We could tell she didn't want to be bothered with us from the get go. When she did come over and I tried to explain that I had already emailed and left a voicemail with my name & number but had not gotten a response she handed me a business card and said to email my name & number to the address on the card. I told her I've already done that with no response and that's why we came out in person. She just kept repeating herself. So I asked if I could at least show my fiance the area with the stage, firepits, picnic tables, etc and she looked at me like I had lost my mind! She said, "it's fall fest!!". Okkkkk..and ..... That means I couldn't walk him around and show it to him?? What sort of customer service is that? From what I understand this is a new business they are trying to start and with this type of service I don't expect it to be very successful. She was so rude to us! I tossed the card on the table and said, 'never mind, I don't think I even want to have my wedding here'. Her response? "Yeah, that's probably a good idea." Seriously?!? After we told her she was rude and that was poor customer service she told us to leave. WOW. I realize they may be busy this time of year but that is no excuse to treat potential customers that way. They just lost a HUGE wedding not to mention any of my family or friends going out for their "fall fest" ever again and a friend who was also considering having her wedding there as well. We went to Kinman Farms this past Saturday for the first time ever. This will also be our last!! The parking was atrocious. It was kind of like parking at your own risk-- they weren't being very vigilant and some people were blocking others in bc that's where they were being told to go. It's all one lane for both ways of traffic PLUS the hayride back to the main area. The lady we got our tickets from was a real winner. Being our first time and being unsure if it was $9 per person or less for kids, we told her we had two kids and two adults. She RUDELY said, "HOW MANY TICKETS DO YOU WANT?!" $36 later, she practically tossed our tickets at us and said, "NEXT PERSON!!" We waited about 40ish mins to get on the hayride to the back. By around 3ish, there weren't a lot of pumpkins even left. Some kids were even smashing them at that point (parents problem, I know). The corn maze was really fun for the kids. They enjoyed that. They had cloggers and a band. That and their reasonable food prices were the only redeeming qualities of this place. Their porta potties were absolutely disgusting and the ones in the front had NO soap. If you know you have a busy place, maybe you should think about having more than two small soap dispensers and very few potties. Being so close to the animals pens, it smelled like a toxic dump. This could be a potentially amazing place if they'd replace their rude employees, add more bathrooms and fix parking/ one lane issues. read more

Came here for the fall festival (I think that's what they call it). $9 got you a hay ride, corn maze, bonfire, and a small pumpkin to take home. The hay ride wasn't anything overly exciting, but it was still a fun opportunity to reminisce on the days of being a kid. We went at night, and while flashlights were provided, I would have enjoyed the corn maze better with some improvements, one being some light. There also appeared to be 2 entrances, but no idea how or if they differed at all. Navigating the maze was difficult - there was no map or signage, and people had very obviously created their own paths through it. After wandering it for a bit, we got back out but have no idea if we ever made it to the center or really finished it vs. just backtracking the way we came in. The bonfires were nice, and there was a concession stand with plenty of inexpensively priced treats. I was very excited to have the smores making kit! There were also games like cornhole, etc. available. The hay ride too us back to where we parked where there were animals to look at and more items to buy - larger pumpkins, hay bales, and plenty of other fall items you'd expect to find here. All in all, I'd say it's definitely worth your money to take a trip! read more

well i looked this up on the internet seemed nice. saw that there was a special on pumpkins, hay, corn stalk and mums for 29.99 so we thought we'd try it out. hay rides maze and a few more things for $7 a person. us having 7 people and a baby thought we'd go. we saw a special for the same thing for 39.99 i asked and they said we needed a coupon. well being 30 minutes away we ended up getting the 39.99 special becaused we didnt have a coupon. the other family with us didnt get the special cause they were upset about the 10 off coupon. anyway 7 people x $7 would of got the farm an extra $49 well we decided to forget it since they wouldn;t give us a discount. not the nicest people. our daughter wanted to pet the lil pony and they girl said no u can see it when i put it back in the cage. that was kind of rude. they did have a nice assortment of pumpkins, mums and other things but very rude. would not recommend. read more
