This Casino definitely has the best and most friendly employees in southwest Oklahoma. Unfortunately upper management must be the problem. The prices in the steakhouse have gone up drastically recently, but at least a few options were added that are delicious! The buffet is mediocre at best on Monday's. The new card readers are terrible and almost impossible to get your card to read for the points. The worst part of recent changes and insulting is charging $4 for a slice of the grossest pizza ever! Whoever the new manager is they are terrible and making me think about going elsewhere! The freeplay and awesome employees are the only thing that keep me coming! read more

Next time we will pass on the Lobster bisque and Ceasar salad as they were mediocre but we had so much to eat, we didn't really mind. We will be back. We usually enjoy going to this casino BUT it was very dirty and sticky. We stayed this past Friday night and only stayed for one night. It isn't smoke free just FYI in case you were looking for a completely smoke free casino. The smoking is all in one area behind a glass door but the left side of the whole casino smells like cigarettes. The right side of the casino is so hot, it was uncomfortable. The hotel is looking so run down, dead and alive bugs everywhere, our bathroom looked dirty and the bedding smelled like gross faint smoke. Did not smell clean at all. The halls don't look like they've been vacuumed in months, someone spilled coffee on the tile in the hallway to the hotel and it was dried, no one cleaned it. This is all on the first floor I have no idea what the other floors look like. I have attached pics of the bugs and stains. The walls already have scrapes on the wallpaper, it hasn't been maintained well at all. My mother in law stayed across from us and she tried to take a shower Saturday morning and had ZERO hot water. Never saw anyone cleaning off machines etc until Saturday morning. Most of the employees were friendly especially the cafe and bar area. Next time we will see how the other casino next door looks and stay there. The pic of the brown door was our bathroom door, so dirty like it hasn't been wiped down in a year. I know we stay at casinos to just sleep and go gamble but it should be at least clean. read more

Hotel review: Just to make it clear up front, this is a review of the new Kiowa Casino Hotel that opened up here adjacent to the casino about 2 months ago. This is actually my 2nd time here, and each time I'm not overly impressed. The first time, of course, the staff was not very knowledgeable, but they tried. There was a tv outage (I guess there was an internal issue, so there were no tv channels available). The rooms appeared clean, but even this 2nd time, the water pressure in the shower SUCKS! When we arrived yesterday morning, my wife noticed something smeared on the toilet seat. Gross! It obviously hadn't been cleaned properly. Made us wonder if the bed sheets were changed, etc. We asked at the front desk to have someone come clean it, and was assured "Oh, I'll get someone right up there!". 1 hour later, and a follow up call to ask about what the delay was, and they finally clean the poopie. If it wasn't for the room being complimentary, I wouldn't be staying here at all. I think I'll take my chances at the Comanche Hotel. read more

The room was clean & very comfortable, but the walls were pale thin. I could hear conversations going on in the next room, no bathtubs & no continental breakfast. They also put a $50 hold on your cc. At the tables every had you have to pay a $.50 charge & no free drinks. A lot different than going to Shreveport or Vegas or any other casino I've been to anywhere. Nah don't do it. I got excited when I saw a Casino close to the hotel we were staying at. I should have trusted the yelp reviews. Their website boasts vegas style gambling. It's we like a place other than NY claiming NY pizza. Nothing about this place is vegas. Nothing at all. The smoke was so intense I got a headache and I don't usually mind smoke even though I don't smoke. But this was out of control. They only had a couple table games. One Poker table and 3 black jack. The high roller room was a joke. This place is all slots. And we all know how slots are controlled by the house. Even the eating rooms allowed smoking. Unlike vegas, there is no getting away from the smoke. The only saving grace was the cheap drinks. I got a tequila and OJ for five bucks. That was cool. Now I smell like smoke and not happy. Good thing is I didn't bet a ton of money because I was ready to get out of there. So I guess I beat the house for once. read more

We were invited to the New Years Eve event last year, but not in enough time to get a room. We decided in May, that we would attend this year's event and tried getting a reservation at the front desk. We were told, that they we're not taking reservations yet, but we could put our names on a wait list. Fast forward to August, with not a call or email in months, we again asked to make a reservation and was told the same thing... we'renot taking reservations yet. Same response in October and no calls or emails, since we first talked to the lady at the desk in May. We contacted them at the end of November and was told, we are all booked up for New Year's, sorry. Tried talking to a manager, same song and dance. We go to Kiowa on a monthly basis and really enjoy the facility and staff, so to be treated this way is not very professional or business friendly. We were so excited to goto this year's event, but honestly, I do not think we will be ever returning to Kiowa. After all, there are no shortage of places in Oklahoma and they will probably bend over backwards for our patronage. Shame. read more

We have been visiting Kiowa since it opened. They have always been great. Good comps and great free play until recently. I am not sure who's bright idea it was to not let you use the free play on Sunday's but that was the reason the parking lot was empty. I guess I should look at the dates on the flyer. When I asked the rewards desk she answered with an attitude . It seems that Kiowa is not interested in their loyal players opinions. Not that we depended on the free play to gamble but it was a nice perk. Not a problem there is Red River and Apache that would appreciate our money. Very disappointed. read more

The Kiowa Casino Hotel. Not a very large place. In a nice quiet area away from city noise. Very clean. Friendly staff. No long check in wait. Rooms are spacious. The have Keurigs in the room. Showers not bathtubs. Nice spacious vanity bathroom counter. Large mirror. I felt the beds to be comfortable. The pillows were of my style. Plump but soft enough to shape for comfort. All rooms are non smoking. There is a microwave, safe and small icebox in the rooms. You will find a small gift shop but no pool or fitness area. The hotel is attached to the casino by a closed in walkway. So you can stay, play and then head to a 2nd Casino down the road. A short drive of 30 minutes will get you to the city of Wichita Falls. I had a great time at Kiowa Casino 2 weeks ago. The check-in staff is super friendly and explained a lot of things to me, since it was my first visit. I played a bunch of the fun themed games like the Titanic game, but my favorite was Hee Haw! I even made $7!!! Big money! read more

Our Experience at Kiowa. My boyfriend and I had business in Burkburnet, and decided to stay at Kiowa and gamble at night. We were minding our own business and 3 hosts walked up to us welcoming us to casino- comped our room and said any food you need just let us know. Nice we thought- well here is where it turns south. The next day we had to come back and pick up our jackpots. We were told it would take 30-45 min. No problem we had to make a few business calls- we stepped outside and 20 min later while on the phone a lady YELLS AT my boyfriend saying "COME GET YOUR MONEY!" Sir get in here get your money. We were embarrassed to say the least! We gambled most of the day- then around 9 we decided to grab a bite, We did exactly what host told us- told them it should comped. While dining, a manager walks over to us saying,Your meal will not be comped and the reason why the host told us the day prior- There was a director there and they were being nice. We don't need free meals- however if someone tells us something- it's their word. The same host called left my boyfriend a message and told him to stop dropping her name! Unbelievable! BEST THING ABOUT TRIP- We took home 24 Jackpots between the two of us! We will never return to Kiowa. read more

SO and I went, for the first time, a couple weekends ago. I left up almost $3000 and SO won over $5000. The room was inexpensive and comfortable. My only complaint is that the bar and grill closes over night which is frustrating. We would have played a lot longer if there was true 24 hour access like every other casino I've been to. I wouldn't even give a star but I had to leave at least one to leave this review. I want to let people know my experience at Kiowa casino. This is going to be a long story but even if it changes one persons mind about going there I will be happy. I had a room for 2 nights and when I was returning back to the hotel for my 2nd night (I got back at about 9:30 pm) the entrance was blocked off and so I went to the employee parking and called the front desk. I was told that I couldn't go get my belongings out of the room and they had a room for me at best western in burkburnett. (They claimed that they tried to call me and let me know they were shutting down...NOBODY CALLED ME! I explained that my elderly mother needed medication that was up in the room and so after waiting about 30-45 minutes I finally was escorted in to collect my belongings. In the morning I returned to collect my room deposit and redeem my tickets and was told no one can do anything or help me. I live about 3 hours away and I needed my deposit money to get back home. I stayed all day and called several times still to be told no one can or will help me so I finally had a family member wire money for me to get home. After I returned home and Kiowa opened back up I called to see if they will mail my deposit back and they said no. If I want my $200 I have to drive back to get it. Plus the fact that I have tickets to redeem that they said the same thing about. They said they had a power outage but all the lights were on and the elevator worked just fine when they took me to get my belongings. I surely figured for the inconvenience when everything was over they would compensate me with free play or something and apologize. NOPE!!! I was treated like I was just a bother to them and my situation didn't matter. if You want to be treated like a human being don't go there because trust when I say you don't and will not matter to them if something happens. read more

I was happily playing at Kiowa because they had sent me a decent amount of freeplay so it was worth the drive from Lawton and I didn't mind using my own money and enjoy myself. They also sent me flyers for gifts which I was going and playing on those days as well. So one Sunday in June, I made the trek from Lawton to arrive for my gift only to be told that I didn't qualify, and my question was then "why did I receive a mailer?", and was asked if I brought to which I replied "I didn't know I had to" but then I was just being ignored feeling awkward with people in line just staring at me. So I replied "Well you had better save me one of these because I will bring it next Sunday." Which I did and I received two items although there was drama involved for I had to wait about 15-20 minutes for them to make copies of my mailers. After this at some point in dealing with the players club about free gifts one of the caucasian women told me that I had previously picked up that gift she said she looked in the computer and it showed that I picked up that gift, so I told her that I hadn't and she better look to her staff and roll the tape back. Not making this a racially motivated complaint but I must state that there are two caucasian women that work in the players club who are not very friendly and they are difficult talk to about anything that may be of concern. There are two Natives, a male and a female who go up and beyond to help. Needless to say, I have no desire for a free gift from Kiowa Casino nor do I care to play there any longer. Another friendly, decent, and helpful person was Curtis in the slot department. The last time I went to Kiowa to play my freeplay on Monday, one of these women was standing behind the other employee I am assuming on another computer and she was just glaring at me in a not so kind manner I don't know why some employees have to be so unkind and just plain mean. Just had a very enjoyable afternoon at the Kiowa Casino. The bad reviews had me not expecting much, but we loved it! It was clean and spacious. They had a large selection of all the newest slot machines and it was fun trying out new stuff. The slots were set well and we were able to play the extra games often. Not in our neck of the woods so we probably won't be back, but I would recommend it to anyone passing through. read more

Great selection of slots and I found a few "loose" ones--left with more money than I came with, so very happy with that-- Didn't stay in the hotel, so no opinion on it Only thing that detracted from our visit was the service in the grill--We got there just after the buffet closed, but grill service was available---the server was very surly and inattentive---we had to ask for silverware and she "rolled her eyes" at that---then, we had the nerve to ask for butter for our bread---another eyeroll---and no, we had done nothing to deserve the way we were treated---we are sorry we ruined the server's her day by asking to be served by her-- We enjoyed our visit at the casino and will probably return to play, but we don't plan to eat at any of the dining establishments if that is the kind of treatment we can expect-- read more

Love that the casino is non-smoking and I hope it stays that way. Your temperature is checked on entering and hands sanitized. Lots of safety precautions with cleaning and social distancing between machines. We went as a group for a birthday celebration. Great dinner, great bar, and fun time gambling. For the most part, the casino has an appealing atmosphere.. Until you are greeted at the door by a door man that has a terrible scowl and asks for an ID like he hates his job. Hate that you have to anti ever stinking time but that is just Oklahoma. Clean building very smoke friendly. Food inside is pretty good. This casino is great! The people, staff and games are great and the food is 4-STAR! To Brendan J. who said it was terrible, look at the casino next to it, The Comanche Red River Casino where the people looked all dried out, the staff resembles mafia and if you try to exit before spending at least an hour there, they try to muscle you back inside. No dining facility just a snack bar. At Kiowa, the food is excellent, prices fair, free popcorn and drinks and yes, there is a sports bar. All with friendly service and they try hard to remember your name. AND THEY TREATS VETERANS LIKE ME WITH GREAT RESPECT AND HAVE SPECIAL OFFERS FOR US! My hat is off to these guys. read more

The hotel charged my card an additional $250.00 fee for "smoking in the room". My husband and I are non-smokers. WE DO NOT SMOKE!! I do not understand how they are able to charge us for a fee claiming something we absolutely did not do. We asked them if this was based off of the smell of smoke because we did spend a few hours in the smoky casino, they said "No" they claim to have actual evidence that we did this. I asked to see what the "evidence" is but have not heard back from them. Now when I call I'm sent to Voicemail and neither the hotel manager Donny or the Assistant General manager will return my call. The last thing I was told was that we were being "investigated". All of this is so bizarre to me and it is extremely upsetting to be accused of doing something we definitely did not, and do not do. It would have been impossible for us to smoke anything without any tobacco or even a lighter on hand because like I mentioned before, we are non-smokers! read more
