This place has good, moist chicken, decent sides, and reasonable prices. The main problem for me was the smoke. They have a wood-fired oven with inadequate ventilation (possibly none), so the entire restaurant filled with smoke. I had to leave the restaurant and stand outside in the cold because the smoke was bothering me so much, and we were seated farthest from the oven. Nice place for basic and classic chicken! The meat was properly cooked, very tender. I tried the classic marinade and my partner the herbs one and they were both convincing. Sauce and fries very tasty. So it was very tasty for basic chicken. Staff was quite friendly too. Atmosphere wise though, it was very loud and the tables are very close from each other (I kept having people bump in my chair). I ate takeaway here three times and had a problematic experience every time. Two of the times our take away were missing something. Another two of the times the wait was in excess of 45 minutes even though they promised 15 minutes. During this waiting we noticed that many people coming to eat in after we had ordered would get served before us, sometimes even ordering the same as we did. They definitely seem to have some weird sort of policy of serving people eating in before the takeaway orders. I sincerely hope this is the explanation as the only other reason i can think of is that they discriminate against foreigners read more

The restaurant that can't decide if it wants to serve food or be a bar. I've never had worse service. We were requested to move tables twice, the server brought the wrong order, spilled a half liter of water on me, and then food wasn't warm. Obviously it just opened and there are a few things to work out, though if you want chicken I'd recommend walking a few blocks inward to Matongè, where you can pay 5€ for 6 wings (vs this place where it's 23€ for a whole chicken.) Advice to management - set a drinking area, put drinkers (& smokers) at tables away from food, get some food warmers so your food is served hot, serve bread if your cooks are slow and the wait is long, and stop moving tables to accommodate everyone - it's distracting. read more

Good chicken, I liked the herb sauce, not so much the house sauce though. The fries and salad were good, although my spouse said there was dirt in his salad. The applesauce was bland as baby food. A bit overpriced. The chicken is good, the sides are ok but nothing really that amazing. Our wait for the food was LONG. The serving staff was overburdened when I was there so while they are nice people, it was hard to get their attention and order / follow up / get our food. The chicken is below average, and it has a huge problem. It's bland... seriously is really bland, only the exterior is covered in sauce but it seems like they don't inject or treat the meat properly. The biggest problem though is the price. It's expensive, above average expensive for a tasteless chicken! Fries are 4eur plus 1eur for the sauce! It's brussels! You can find way better fries everywhere for half the price and triple the portions. This restaurant will be worth it if and only if prices were reduced by 30% or so. Best chicken ever! The flavor and texture is unlike any chicken we've eaten; it's moist, tender, and well seasoned. We even ate the crispy skin! I wanted a gin and tonic but settled for a Basil Smash which was TOO good. Service was great, warm and friendly. Worth a try if you are hungry for a great meal. read more

Five stars for what this place offers - which is actually roasted chicken. We went for 1/4 of chicken each with several sides to try and everything was really well cooked and tasty, especially the patates petees and the compote de pommes. I also had a White Russian which was very decent. The moelleux au chocolat we got as dessert was not divine, but it's chocolate so it doesn't really matter :-) All and all, very good choice for casual, basic dinner on a cold Tuesday evening! read more

or me, this restaurant is going to be the new "place to be" in Brussels, located on a cozy square (St-Boniface) known for its famous restaurants and bars. The food is amazing as are the cocktails and btw,I advice everyone to get the Espresso Martini cocktail, which is extraordinary. And of course you can to both ;) EAT or DRINK. Regarding the chicken, I was surprised of the tenderness and the marinate they use. It is DELICIOUS. As side dish I took French fries and the cowl salad with orange. (Yummyyyyy) The interior is simple with a wooden touch which I like very much and it is welcoming different group ages. The waiters were realy charming as well.
