Was told over the phone that all wheel alignments are performed " IN HOUSE " with a hunter machine . Come to find out it was subbed out to to another shop 3 blocks down the street to another shop called ALTECH AUTOMOTIVE LTD who does not even use HUNTER . They tried to hied the fact that it was not done in house to me and now my TRUST is broken with Kipling Tire. I paid Kipling Tire $160 for a marked up service they themselves did not even perform. Once you lie to me directly , you have lost me forever. They hide behind their nice attitude but lie behind your back ! BE WARNED ABOUT KIPLING TIRE !! AKA ....LIARS with a SMILE ! I didn't authorize a 3 party to work on my car that was sold to me as being done in house by a specific machine . Fool me once shame on YOU , fool me twice shame on ME! Little do they know my wife works for a huge film industry which is just down the street on Kipling and she sends all her cars to Kipling Tire for tire service. I told her what did and she now vows to send all her repairs elsewhere. Like me she thought they were honest. $160 lie today cost them ALOT more business then they think with my wife . Got a puncture on a tire on the QEW during Saturday morning traffic. Was fortunate to get off at the exit and made my way to Kipling Tire based on Yelp reviews. Kipling was busy as it was Saturday morning. The Kipling Team was able to get my tire patched and me back on the road within 2hrs. Everyone I spoke with addressed me by my first name and I had at least 5 or more people say goodbye and use my first name. In a bad situation for me, with a flat tire, on a family trip, and being out of the country. The Kipling Team did everything possible to take care of me with no inconvenience to my family. My boyfriend and I were in Toronto from the States for the day visiting a friend when we got a flat tire - it turned out that all of the tires needed to be replaced and we had a two hour drive ahead of us. Justin and his team at KT, need to host a masterclass on "The Ultimate Guest Experience" Had an emergency repair that needed attention. Never seen a screw embedded in a tire like that. I was expecting to be sold a new tire that I did not have the budget for - but quite the opposite had happened. Worst tire experience I have had. Alex the mgr was good to deal with , gave me a good price on 4 new high end tires. Shop totally destroyed my opinion of this business , scratched 3 of the 4 rims , put new wheel weights over top of old adhesive from previous weights on one wheel & over torqued 2 of the 4 wheels.Left adhesive from all factory weights still on wheels Note: (Advised them to inspect all wheels before taking the car in shop which they did) . Contacted the owner Justin about my concerns as I would have wanted someone to do if it were my business, he stated he would be back to me in a couple of days, but I never heard from Him. That was over a month ago, Lesson learned.!!! read more

If you're looking for brand name tires ask KT for a quote. Their price usually beats the competition (CT, G&R) by more than a few bucks. It's a family run business. So if you go there on a not so busy day you'll get the "family treatment" ;-) I also need to mention that (second time in 4 yrs) Kipling Tire was able to get me snow tires & alloy wheels for a price that was overall lower than what I would have paid at tirerack.com !! check with the guys at KT before placing your online order and you might be up for a nice surprise! read more

Their quote beat all others, even tirerack.com & Costco. Unlike the others, they had my hard to find 20"s in stock and I got same day service. Every where else told me I had to wait a week for them to get a special order in. No hard sell, and didn't try to sell me what I didn't need. Drove away with 2 premium Michelin tires installed and have no complaints and only nice things to say. The place is all macho man, as in every other autoshop out there, but they had cooking shows on the TV for ladies like me AND the washrooms were spotless AND the staff helpful, efficient, polite... But best of all they delivered as promised in under an hour. I will be back next year for the other 2 tires!! read more

Their prices are really good and never once did I feel uncomfortable dealing with them. Their service was amazingly fast and even on an insanely busy day in mid November they had me in and out with new snow tires in 30 minutes. My Dad has been buying tires from KT for over 25 years and as soon as I walked in and said my name they connected the dots immediately - family treatment FTW! Totally old fashion. it all started with my new vehicle which i got in november 2012. no winter tires, i asked around in my area, was told about kipling tire. got a quote, booked an appointment was told $1000 an a hour wait. turns out, i park the car in the back, they took me in Early for my appointment, went over to the resturant that they own next store. i'm not even kidding not even 20 minutes later, wheels installed and balanced with new rims. price was under 950 after taxes AND i got a 100 rebate from the manufactor...impressed DAMN STRAIGHT and the food next store was amazing as well my Highest recommendation read more

After hitting some debris on the highway and blowing out a tire, we pulled in to the nearest tire place: Kipling Tire. They were very friendly and incredibly helpful, giving us tips about what to do in the future and showing us how to use the tools to change the tire. They helped us immediately after we arrived. Within about 20 or 30 minutes, they had patched up the tire and we were ready to go! They don't seem like the kind of place that would rip you off if you don't know much about cars. Being female, I'm always somewhat concerned about being "taken for a ride" whenever there is an issue with my car. I read all the positive reviews and decided to take my car over there as I got a flat on the weekend due to a small nail. I had to put the spare on in order to drive over there. They quickly fixed the tire, put it back on and reset all my electronics in about 30 minutes with no hassle. It was $40 before tax; I was very pleased with the professional, friendly and, most importantly, honest service I received. I plan to return for my next oil and filter change. read more

Spoke with a Kipling Tire representative who said he didn't have the tires I needed and referred me to Nextar Tire Distributor at 57 Advanced Rd in Etobicoke ... The new tires they installed leaked and had to be cleaned and resealed as Nextar didn't bother they just put the tires on my rims ... They kept my 4 aluminum valve cover cap and replaced them with mix matched black plastic caps ... And broke one of my hub caps which I replaced from the dealer OEM $100 ... Won't deal with either Kipling Tire ever again for the bad referral or Nextar Tire Distributor for their less then professional service read more

Amazing service! I did an online quote for new all-season tires, which was lower than anywhere else (including Costco). Went in this afternoon to have them put on. It was busy, but they run a tight ship around there and keep things moving well. I was told it would be about a 2 hour wait, which sucked because it was pouring rain, so I had to sit and wait. My car was done in about 45 mins! SO impressed. This is my new go-to place for my car! read more

They were pretty busy but they charged 156 bucks to get a tire swap when i got home i checked to see if the lugs were tight one of them was loose so i had a torque wrench so i torqued them all to 100ftlb of torque. I still belive in second chances and i do get being under press read more

They had the best price, which is great, but their customer service was superb, which was very welcome as I had originally gone with a different shop that had tried to scam my wife when she took the car in. Lucky we walked and finally had the sense to check Yelp and call Kipling Tire. They beat the price this other shop had offered us (but who then didn't have the tires in stock when we arrived and tried to upsell us), and then provided and TOTALLY different customer service experience. I had my BMW towed to Kipling Tire as I had a flat tire and my car does not carry a spare. They came highly recommended by the tow truck driver and they certainly did not disappoint! Justin called me less than 10 minutes after I had sent the shop an e-mail about my car (they were closed as it was Saturday night when I had it towed there). He called just to tell me that he had my e-mail and not to worry the car would be fine there and he would look at it and provide me with a quote first thing Monday morning. And sure enough first thing Monday he called and helped me with picking out new rims and tires for the car. He looked high and low for used rims for us and in the end he ordered a new set that he thought would look best and was closest to what we were looking for. He even put one on the car, took a picture and sent it to us so we could see what it looked like!
