So I am going to try to be as objective as possible and put all my personal stuff aside and just write facts and you make up your own mind! So my car needed new all season tires and I decided to save a bit of cash and go with some used ones. It was time to get the winter tires off so I grabbed my old all season tires and drove up to this place. Walked into the shop and the owner greeted me and I asked if he had any all season tires for my car. He took me in the back and showed me to different pairs and said that this is all he has at the moment for my car. He pointed at one of the tires of both pairs. I looked at the tires and they looked liked they had some really good tread depth left. One must have been at least 90% and the other somewhere around 70%. So I agreed and gave him the go ahead. It took them maybe 15 - 20 min total and they had the tires swamped out and on my car. I paid the man cash and walked out to my car. I did a quick check of the tires on the drivers side just to double check and everything seemed to look good. I drove home without any trouble but the humming that I was used to from the Winter tires was still there and I could swear that the summer tires were quieter. I got home and that's when I did the proper walk around when I suddenly noticed that the right back tire had pretty my no tread left! So I got in the car and drove right back and asked them what the heck happened. I looked at a tire that had 90% tread and then they slap me a tire that was pretty much done on the other side. One guy told me that they like to match the model and another one told me that 4x4 vehicles use the right back tire the least when driving that's why they put that tire on!? So I asked them that I want another tire and they said that it would be from another brand, I wasn't happy about that but I told them just to put it on. They told me they should be getting new deliveries all of the next two weeks so I can get back to them and if they get another one of the same brand they will exchange it for me no problem. I wasn't happy but I also was out of time and patience and just left it at that. That night I was driving my car on the highway and the noise was just unbearable that was coming from the wheels. I thought that maybe one of my wheel bearings were shot so in the morning I drove up to my mechanic. He got in the car didn't even drive down the road for 100m and asked where the hell I got these shitty tires from!? I told him that I got used tires and he gave me hell. When we got out of the car she looked at the tires and showed me that these tires were busted. They were "feathered" all over the place. My mechanic offered me to get brand new tires from Michelin for $850 installed, on top of it he had a $75 mail in rebate for those. So I told him to hold off on them and that I have to first have to go back to this place and try to return these tires. Sure enough when I get there the owner is not in that day and his partner says that he can't do anything because I paid cash and had no receipt! So I asked him how much he would sell me the same tires my mechanic offered me just so I don't have to drive forth and back to Mississauga. They wanted $1200.- for the exact same tires, I just laughed and said never mind. Called my mechanic and told him to order the tires and got them replaced. So now I had these used, feathered tires in my trunk and had to chase the owner. Next day when I came back the owner was suddenly sick and his partner still couldn't help me, so I would call all week long everyday and the owner was sick everyday. So finally on the third day the partner says he talked with the owner and he said that I can return the tires but they will charge me a $50.- service fee because they had to put them on and dispose of the old ones! So I drove to the shop and returned the tires and he actually wanted to charge me the service fee!! I was just at the end of it and told him what kind of week I had and how many hours and days I have wasted and how inconvenient this entire experience and transaction was and the partner just pulled out his wallet and gave me the change and just asked me to leave. came in at 10 am. I had called ahead to make sure they had 3 tires my size. when i arrived they did not have the tires they said they did. when they ACTUALLY looked they were able to find 1. they then told me to leave my rim for a few hours while i drove around on a spare. usually ive just waited there but for some reason they said it would take many hours today. i waited for a call until 2. they never called me but i eventually got through after about an hour of calling. they told me it was ready. when i arrived i asked them to put it on instead of the spare tire and they said they were too busy so to come back another day. So 3 trips and 2 days to replace one tire? Very dissapointed. any savings i would get from buying used basically out the window for time and gas. hey read more

SHADY!!! DO NOT TRUST!!!!!! They will sell you tires that are not for you're vehicle. They tell you, these will work, but they dont tell you whether they are the proper tires or safe. I've bought tires from them twice and both times after having another mechanic look at the vehicle been told that the tires are not for my vehicle. THEY DO NOT CARE OF YOUR SAFETY! Which is also why I believe I have never received any type of receipt from them. That way they can wipe their hands clean from any responsibility. The second time there one of the employees backed up into my vehicle and hit it causing a lot of damage! They told me it wasn't them, and tried to deflect it. Saying they didnt hear anything, then saying it didnt happen there, then after i found evidence of a broken light they tried blaming a courier driver. Anyway, they dont care about anything other than your cash. I would pay a little more any day and go to a repuatable place who has cameras and willing to take responibility for their mistakes. I love going to Used Tire Depot - these guys are absolutely fantastic. I bring our family Lexus ES, and Acura TSX here every single time we have tire related issues. Ahmed - has always provided us with the best, and most economical advice. I trusted Ahmed's advice, and recommendation right before heading on a cross continent road trip to California - and I'm glad I listened to him. The car even with high mileage drove like new with the new tires he put on. I have also purchased used Tires from Ahmed (Continentals) and they were solid quality tires. Ahmed has definitely learned my loyalty, and the loyalty of others whom I have recommended Ahmed to. Been dealing with these guys for about 6 years, do quite a bit of business with them. Have never had any trouble, if something was faulty they fix it, if something isnt perfect they try and make it. I rarely if never buy new and they have a generally good inventory to fit the bill. I have run into a few situations where someone was looking for something out of the area and even those shops when they cant fill the bill recommend these guys. read more

Would not recommend this place to anyone. They sold me used tires that were so bald they should never have been put on my car. They refuse to replace them for me despite a 30 day gaurentee. Both are flat within 2 weeks and now I have to go somewhere else and pay again for tires. read more

Misleading. Told me that the alignment & the balancing is included over the phone. I double checked it when I went over there to which his answer was yes ( Alignment is included). However, the 2 front tires were changed within 15 minutes. I suspected that something was wrong and called back to check if the alignment was done. Hey everyone, so If you're thinking about buying tires, please reconsider.. Because of these guys (ahmed/Ahmad) or (eyeman/imon). So let's get to the story, I came to Ford and bought brand new rims and I made sure they were straight because I don't want to have a shake while I drive. I decided to go to Used Tire Depot to buy brand new tires. So I walked into the business and I spoke with this guy, he gave me a decent price of $600. But I decided to shop around just to get a general idea of how much it would cost. So I came back the next day and I spoke to another guy, Ahmed or Ahmad he gave me a different price of $750, then when I told him someone told me a price yesterday he said okay sure lets do it for $600.. He tried to sell me the same tires for $100 more plus tax and OTIS / OTS... So anyways I brought my car to the back and I saw 2 guys in the back working so I got out of there way and sat in the front, bad bad bad, car done in 15/20 min, I was shocked, didn't believe It was done so I walked to the car and check brand new tires and everything done and completed. So after I paid and left the store I noticed a shake, this shake shouldn't happen on brand new tires and rims.. So I brought it back to Used Tire Depot and they checked Again in front of me on the balancer :0.00 on all the tires and rims, so I said okay sure just put them back on, 5 min later cars outside and he hands me the key and says should be fixed.. But it wasn't fixed I called and called and he was saying he was busy and he can't get me in for about 1/2 hours, I said okay fine, I'll come and wait and when I showed up Ahmed /Ahmad told me that he's a doctor and I don't know what I'm talking about and he Blamed my brand new rims that they were bent. I was really mad so I left and went to Ford and they said the rims were fine but the tires were "wobbly" so i went back and told him to give my money back and put my old tires on, he replied "brother you used the tires for 4 days, how can I take them back there brand new tires and I can't resell them" I got mad how he ate my money.. Seriously I would never go here again.. The owners are rude and don't have respect, but the guys in the back very friendly.
