I was fitted for new shoes they lost the molds so i had to go back in and do it again . I t was a little annoying but i didn't get mad, sometimes things happen. Then 2 months later they ask me to pick out 3 different styles because the ones i picked previously had been discontinued. So I went back to their office and did that. I have checked in with them on several occasions. All they would say was it takes time. Today i had an appointment got there checked in and told the receptionist that I knew I must have a balance but that I had misplaced my wallet. She informed me that my balance was $174.00 and that it was in pre-collections. If i can't pay on it right then they would have to cancel my appointment . Later today I found it, returned to their office and paid the entire bill. I pointed out the fact that i have patiently waited for shoes and shown grace. I don't know if it was because I am old or she just thought that I was stupid. She tried to tell that our system would not allow me to keep the appointment. When I informed them that i would not be making another appointment she told me that was quite alright. As if she were speaking for the doctor himself. Because in these economic times no matter what kind of business your customers, patients, and clients matter. The doctor I had was awesome but some of his office staff need a reboot on people skills or fired.

In my early 50's, and my feet have never bothered me except for two times: Once when I was 17 working in a warehouse, walking around on concrete all day in converse. Another time working a janitorial job in a school (20k steps a day) and again last summer working in a retail store (20k steps a day). By the end of the day I'd be hobbling when getting out of my car at the end of my shifts. I tried fancier shoes and some of those Dr. Scholls inserts, and they seemed to help very temporarily, but nothing lasting. Even saw my doctor who wasn't able to offer me much except a referral to PT and NSAIDs. I skipped it because I did that a few years earlier w/ a shoulder, and didn't have great luck. Decided to do a google maps search and see someone local who does nothing but feet, who could see the kind of feet that I have, and what I should do about them. Dr. Brandi was able to quickly assess and make recommendations followed up with an email with several links for shoes, slippers, sandals, and shoe inserts. I bought 3 of the inserts she recommended to use in shoes I currently have, plus a great pair of slip on house shoes, and now my feet feel amazing!!! I had been thinking about going to that good feet store they keep advertising on TV constantly and I'm so glad I didn't. This was the most affordable option by far.

Which goes along with the culture of the Salmon Creek area, in general. The front office does not seem to offer many activities for children, and I only saw one child during my experience here which leads me to believe that the target audience served here is likely the elderly. There are restrooms available, though, likely not for public use. Bring your own water because there are no fountains around! Unsure about the staff, other than Jessica, at the front desk being friendly and helpful! Both ladies managing the front do a great job. I was referred here by Carolyn Weaver, at St. Vincent De Paul to Doctor Tek Fish. He is no longer accepting patients at this time, and there are 4 alternate providers who are taking new patients. My appointment was with Doctor Barnes. I have Molina insurance. This clinic offers inserts for $65 and custom orthotics for ~$600. There was an ease of scheduling and the clinic also offers additional out-of-pocket treatments. Unfortunately, insurance only covers custom orthotics if you are diabetic. Clover Podiatry offers the most affordable custom orthotics in the Vancouver area that I have found. Thank you for a positive experience!

In the past two years I've had 5 different PCP's. They leave. A new one is assigned. They leave. Now they have NO PCP's taking new patients. You get whoever is around. They don't have time to review your chart or complaint. My fave PCP left because of the stress of paperwork and short time allotted to see patients. If you need speciality care, they do pretty well but as for having a doc that knows anything about you, forget it. It is really very scary especially as I get older and need someone on top of my care. Maybe instead of a state of the art facility, CMH could focus on quality care.

A deep, aggressive melanoma invaded my heel and the surgeon took a lot of my heel off, like 60%. After surgery I was eventually shipped off to wound care (that's another review) where they started the process of getting my body to naturally fill the gaping hole in with a wound vacuum. Eventually, as the hole filled it was time to start thinking about the end game, getting walking on the heel again. Wound care suggested I contact Dr. Justin Tidwell at Legacy Foot and Ankle, he knew about this type of procedure. The very next week I found myself on the second floor of the medical center next to the hospital in his waiting room. Dr. Tidwell walked in and unwrapped my bandages and took one look and said, "No problem, we can cover that up." Simple as that. His staff is wonderful, really caring and confident, like Dr. Tidwell. I went back several times to get the skin graft set but then I came down with an infection and a hospital stay (not his fault) which put off the graft until this massive nasty infection was cleared up. Eventually we were ready to pull the trigger. We did the circle jerk dance with my insurance company but eventually they granted me the synthetic skin graft. One office visit, less than 25 minutes, some synthetic skin and a steri-strips and orders to continue to stay off it and I was out the door. As of this writing I am still sitting with my foot up in the air mostly, but so far so good. Talking to people in the waiting room they couldn't say enough good things about Dr. Tidwell whether you were getting reconstruction, ingrown toe nails fixed, skin grafts, it didn't matter he got high marks. I am ready to get my life back and it is happening a heck of a lot quicker thanks to Dr. Tidwell and his staff. Obviously being in a hospital complex handicapped access gets an automatic A++.
