So we did just that, well when we got there they didn't have the part so at that point we knew we were done driving for the day! Chris got on the phone with Another parts place about an hour away! Said he can get it here tonight and we could be back at 830a to get her fixed! So we stayed the night in the RV at a small hotel nearby that had a few RV spots to park! They also offered rides for food and to and from the auto shop to the motel because it was over 100 degrees F out. It was already an emotional trip, when midway through our travels, we unexpectedly heard a pop in the engine, the vehicle started running hot, and we ended up stranded on the side of the road in 103° heat with no family or friends anywhere nearby. I called the local U-Haul location while trying to figure out what to do, and they referred me to Hills Motors Towing. That is when I met Jeremy, the owner/operator. I can honestly say I have never met a more family-oriented, customer-service-focused business owner. Jeremy agreed to pick us up and tow us, and he arrived within under 30 minutes. Once he looked at the vehicle, he was able to quickly identify the likely issue. Even more impressive, he had the knowledge, experience, and parts inventory available to get us taken care of right there. Within about two hours, he had my family and me fixed up and back on the road. The pricing was more than fair, so much so that I felt compelled to leave a tip.
