There are items for sale but I think the bulk of their business is to assist you in redecorating. And it's not that expensive! My friend bought a very cute side table they had redone for 85.00 and is having a dresser she owns redone for slightly over a hundred. There are lots of fabrics and they are available for home visits. I liked it so much that I was very dismayed to see a dog there when we visited. I get it, you don't have much foot traffic but a dog just doesn't belong in the public part of a business. Granted, it was a tiny, extremely quiet and well behaved dog who went immediately to sleep. But I haven't brought my daughter back here because she has such severe dog allergies. Please keep the dog in the office part! I do plan a return visit and sure hope there aren't any dogs to greet me, no matter how cute and well behaved they are.

This is a darling place to get gifts. They have cute homemade items like covers for iPads and Kindles plus lots of seasonal items. Right now there are a multitude of Yule tide red and green wonderfulness everywhere you look. Full time items they stock are Nora Fleming serving and party ware with all the cute mini's. Oh boy, this store is way too close to me with all those adorable choices. My daughter had received a Nora Fleming serving platter for a wedding gift and while I lusted after it, it was an abstract yearning. Now the source to satisfy that craving is oh so nearby with friendly people who work there and other reasons to visit. I have already succumbed once, buying a cake stand and a blue bird mini for my daughter for Christmas. How long before I mosey over "just to look" and end up with my own Nora Fleming habit? You better come here quick and buy some Nora Fleming while there is still some left! I asked if she had anything that had hummingbirds on it and she quickly suggested a few options. She asked my budget and showed me one of the loveliest table cloths I have ever seen. She said it was over my budget but she'd give it to me to meet my budget. I bought something else for my sister and she even took a few dollars off of that for me. She was incredibly helpful and friendly and even put it in a nice gift box for me with tissue paper. I would recommend this store to anyone in or visiting the Frankfort area. During my small business Saturday trip I stopped in here to find a lot of products that my sister…read morewould like. Seeing as it's her birthday in a few days, it was a good surprise. Prices seemed reasonable. The only issue I had is, as I walked around, one of the, I'm guessing, owners seemed to be following me around. It made me slightly uncomfortable. I wasn't sure if she was afraid I would break something, going to steal, or going to make a mess! When I went to check out, the two ladies at the counter weren't exactly friendly. They both seemed distracted and when I tried to make reasonable small talk, not being overly friendly or anything, just saying I was new to the area and my sister would love the store. They didn't respond and just handed me my receipt and bag. No "thank you" or "have a nice day" or anything. I can understand being busy, I've worked retail before. I just think politeness goes a long way. To top it off, they forgot to put something in my bag that I had bought. Luckily the one woman was nice enough to track me down and give it to me. That was at least a kind gesture. I'm going to chalk it up to stressful day and I will visit again in the future.

I…read moream a brand new Grandmother and this shop has all kinds of fun stuff to buy for my granddaughter - grand is the operative word! When you are the Mom you have to buy diapers, shampoo and stuff like food. As the Grandma I can buy all the impractical stuff. I have only been there once since my granddaughter was born but I was able to find the cutest head bands with bows that attach for football games and St. Patrick's day. Sigh of bliss. How fun to buy such non essential items. They have tons of darling dresses, socks and coats that are so cute and cunning. I love everything they have here. Some of the items are custom made and are similar to what I make for my sweet new granddaughter and I love that also, it makes me feel like I am so darn clever. I don't know about you, but I plan to head over early and often.
