When calling them through the occupational therapy phone extension, the phone will ring for about 15 seconds and then an automatesd message system will tell you that the recipient (Akeso) can't take any more messages because their inbox is full and hang up on you. It's pretty scary when healthcare facilities leave people little to no reasonable means for contacting them.

My son is always rummaging through her bag to see the type of toys she brings to session and he is always pleasantly surprised with what she brings out. Lately we have been having session out in our front courtyard so that we can have some fresh air and sun. Miss Julia always gets his body moving and exploring. His motor skills are improving tremendously and after todays session he had a nice nap after the active movement. Miss Julia always has a positive attitude coming into session and engages in a friendly manner with my 2 year old son. I'm so thankful for the San Diego Regional Center for funding these services for my developing son. The actual care from the physical therapists was great, but communication and billing were ongoing issues. Basic customer service also fell short, especially when it came to urgency on billing matters and getting access to the MedBridge platform (needed to complete at home exercises). I would say try with caution.
