This was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. Kirwin Ghost Town Adventures really thinks of everything! When we started planning our road trip, we knew that we wanted to explore the town of Kirwin, and after doing some research I was sure I was going to book with this company. Now after we are home and the trip is complete, I knew I had booked with the right company for sure!!!! Tom went ABOVE and beyond to make sure our family had the best experience. We had UTV knowledge, and some knowledge of the area. But Tom really thought about every detail! With the Rental of the vehicle of your choice, he includes a dry box with blankets, extra jackets, first aid kit, hand sanitizer, and trash bags. Which we had a surprise snow storm the night before our excursion, so the extra warmth was nice for sure. On top of the goodies in the dry box, they have put together a folder with a numbered map with detailed information and history for each location to follow along on the road, as well as a detailed walking map, on top of more safety information. This is just the start of the safety measures put in place. On top of the folder, each vehicle is fitted with a tablet, that has a fixed map that follows your location to make sure you're on the right path. And the last piece of safety protocols that impressed me is, a satellite texting device. There is no cell service for any carrier once you hit the forest. They made sure there was a communication device available for absolute emergencies. Tom went over step by step instructions on how to use the device as well as written instructions in the folder, and a laminated copy inside the vehicle as well. Which was a HUGE piece of mind for me, as my husband and I were traveling and exploring with our 3 kids. Knowing that I had communication in case of an emergency was a huge relief, and a really nice touch. We had a quick rundown on everything, and we were off on our adventures. When we hit a certain point on the journey home, we Texted Tom from our personal phone as requested, and they met us in the parking lot and were eager to hear our experiences. Kirwin Ghost Town Adventures isn't just a business worrying about making money. They care about the safety and experiences of every single person they encounter. Tom took the time to connect with all my children before and after out tour, making sure they were comfortable before we set off on our adventure, as well as asking questions about their trip, what they enjoyed, thought about the experience, as well as even asking everyone if there was anything they could improve on. Each one of us got a sticker when we got back. We happily told our experience and showed some pictures we took. This was absolutely an experience we will talk about for the rest of our lives. We will absolutely be planning another adventure with Kirwin Ghost Town Adventures in the future. We cannot wait to do this again! read more

This was a blast. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Thom has a system to insure safety while allowing you to go up into Kirwin with a gps and satellite Garmin to contact him if there were any problems. You know exactly where you are at all times. It was a great day up at Kirwin and driving his Kirwin Cadillac was a lot of fun. Not worth the money we spent we already had our own SUV rental that we had for 12 days and paid half what he charged for one day I was very disappointed on my birthday thought it was going to be something spectacular the way he made it sound with the eerie Ghost Town in that 4x4 trails you can only rent their vehicle for a ridiculous amount price .. like I said we were in a SUV that we could have drove up there perfectly fine it was a couple of spots that were ifi you could not really I thought it was going to be an off-road adventure that was going to be so cool that it was going to be worth the money but it wasn't in all reality it was very disappointing and there's barely any 4x4ing you could drive your own SUV perfectly fine and save yourself some money and go for free yeah it's pretty and all if you haven't seen it but it ain't worth $500 something dollars we're in a vehicle for one day I think it's a rip off cuz I spent that money that we used on the vehicle for something way cooler than that boring ghost town adventure stupid for amount paid .... read more
