After Yellowstone closed due to the flooding/landslides, I was hard pressed to find activities for the wife and kids. Thank God I found this place. The booking process was quick and easy with ample transparency and had great availability. Staff was very kind and communicative. Equipment worked perfectly. Business provided vehicle equipped with a GPS system with various trails pre-programmed in. Had zero issues with navigation or sat reception. We went out to McCullough's for the half day - Highly recommend. Everyone enjoyed it, it was a very family friendly trail; even our 2 year old had an absolute blast. We rented a 4 seater RZR, one of the new ones they got for the 2021 season with the in dash nav. It was awesome. I heard about all the issues they had with tablets the years previous, but the in dash nav has none of that. Check in was a breeze, staff was awesome and knowledgeable, and the equipment worked flawlessly. The suspension on the sxs soaks up all but the biggest bumps, so cruising at 35-40 on of road trails was almost like driving on black top. We rented a 4 person Polaris--go for the ALL DAY rental! There were so many trails! This was easily our family's favorite activity!!! Brittany was very helpful and we had a total blast exploring parts of Cody and surrounding areas! If you are adventurous and like seeing nature, I highly recommend Tread 'n' Trails. Helpful hint: take a cooler with drinks! Don't forget sunscreen. And if you do the all day, stop by Peters Cafe and grab a picnic sack lunch! We booked the Kirwin Ghost Town tour and had Ben as our guide. He's very knowledgeable about the area. Nice guy and easy to talk to. It was a great trip. High altitude. Beautiful views. Worth the money. I would not want to attempt it on our own and we have an ATV at home. You run a river bed for part of the way but it's your choice if you want to get wet. The equipment was great! The staff was awesome and they dialed in to what our family was looking for in our Peaks to Prairies trail experience. The GPS made the tour a perfect experience to see some beautiful countryside and wildlife. Tread 'n' Trails is AWESOME. If you want a guided tour the views will not disappoint and if you prefer to find your own trails the machines are perfect to explore the beauty just outside of Yellowstone.
