I was pleasantly surprised to find newer looking carpet, nice linen and a clean room. The hotel and room did not have any musty or urine smells. Service was good. Decor is rustic. Refrigerator and microwave all worked. TV is newer but small. There isn't an elevator so you do have to carry your luggage up stairs. Front desk offered to help. Overall okay for an overnight stay.

This treadmill is not (in my opinion) for commercial usage - the track kept slipping and nearly caused me to lose my balance and twist my knee. There appears to be a dry sauna in this area; but, I didn't try it. Would stay here again...

We pulled into our spot and the road noise was loud, we looked around and there were a lot of empty spots. I looked online and there were quite a few spots empty in the park so we called and asked if we could switch to another spot further away from the road, the lady seemed annoyed and said she would see what she had available. We told her that we looked online at available spaces to switch to and she told us none of those were available. We switched to a spot that was actually in one of the pictures on yelp and it did not look like the picture at all. Dead grass and weeds. They said they were trying to grow back grass but it was all dry, had dirt spots and the spots are so close together that there isn't really much other room to sit with chairs because they don't want a lot on the grass. The picnic tables are literally so dry and old that the wood is splintering and the paint is peeling off, they also look like they are going to fall apart. Not to mention you are literally on top of the other trailer next to you. Some care and money needs to be put into this campground to make major improvements. Spots are small and squished together and the way they have you park your vehicle is odd. We consistently smelled sewage and it was not from our trailer because when we switched campgrounds the smell was gone. Maybe they have sewage issues because we could smell it walking around the park and to throw garbage away. Also they do warn that the sprinklers run at night but it sprayed more of our trailer than the grass and left hard water spots all over the side. The mens bathroom had one toilet and one urinal for the entire park to use (I never went to the women's). Funny thing is that nobody ever did end up staying in any of the spots we asked about moving to. I WOULD NOT recommend this place to anyone unless desperate. It is run down and not taken care of well. I would recommend stay at the KOA down the street- we moved to stay for one night there and it was night and day difference!

The restaurant has more classic amenities than ANY restaurant in Cody -- nowhere else will you find cloth napkins. Inside dining is in several Western rustic rooms, and outside dining is on a rustic deck, but the hidden gem is the food. A fairly good-sized menu with everything from steaks to hamburgers, and several fish items (where else will you find rainbow trout on the menu in this area? Nowhere! And Wyoming is known for trout fishing!). Everything we tried on our first visit was outstanding, excellent quality and taste, and very reasonable prices. A good wine list and desserts which vary with the chef's whimsy. We enjoyed the FINEST BREAD PUDDING ever experienced, made fresh with a wonderful crunch. On a second visit two days later, steaks were done exactly as ordered, and desserts were very good! The restaurant is open for dinner from 5-9 7 days a week. Even if you are staying in Cody, it is well worth driving about 20 miles to the very edge of the forest (you will be traveling on the North Fork highway, recognized as one of the most scenic drives in the country) to enjoy both atmosphere and food.

Didn't receive any breakfast bowls that another yelper mentioned, but I expect that the breakfast items change depending on what they have. **CABIN INTERIOR** A simple log cabin. They didn't finish the wood as nicely as they could've - the wood cracks were caulk sealed, but I would've thought they'd try to paint or color the white to better match the cozy wood theme. No AC, but they do provide small floor fans. Bathroom is clean. Beds looked clean, but I unfortunately woke up to some very itchy legs. Don't think they were bedbugs necessarily, but I'd suggest wearing long pants to bed maybe... **CABIN EXTERIOR** The cabins are on the bottom side of the slope coming down from the main road. When your small rashes are full you can dump other trash in a dump they have in the entrance. No breakfast but they have coffee. The front desk ppl are nice so are the housekeepers. I love how it's surrounded by rock cliffs. Saw some wildlife! Not far from the river either.
