That's Fine If They Pick who needs to be seen and she doesn't Like. But to Treat people disrespectfully is sad.. In front of children. I believe she could of handled her customer service Skills Much Better. Instead of Insulting and Raising her Voice at patients. Not a very Nice Office.. Family oriented, genuine care for patients, best staff you could ask for. Barb DeCarlo is also the best! I see her every few months for my medicine and she is incredible at her job. She is very easy to talk to and work with, especially now that upcoming events in my life will make it difficult for me to come back in three months for my medicine checkup. She makes a plan and she makes it work so it is easy on patients. I'm very very impressed.

My Mom who is an early senior, not so old at all, had a sudden medical emergency, and when she left ICU, needed a rehab center to regain strength, receive medical care, and re-learn physical movements. This place was GREAT. (This review is for the REHAB facility, not the long-term care.) Mom got a private room that her insurance covered. (She is not old enough for MediCare yet.) The lady in Admitting worked great with the hospital case worker when we were trying to determine where she would go after the hospital. And they worked great with insurance as well. The place is very clean, and recently updated. The rooms are tidy, and well-cleaned as well. Mom got great support from the doctors who are there, and the nursing staff was caring, friendly, and just the right amount of attention, and letting the patients be. But most importantly- Mom really enjoyed the rehab/ physical therapy staff. They were kind, patient, and slowly by appropriately challenged her bit by bit on the physical rehab. They worked 1-2 hours a day. They encouraged family and friends to come by during rehab. They had Mom feeling good during and after all the sessions. Dad was there everyday, and he would go with her to her sessions too, and they were good to him. The only 'con' was the food. Mom wasn't too crazy about that, but that is a minor issue at best. Nobody is there for the culinary experience. We looked at a few other rehab centers along with this one, and they were all depressing places. This one was so tidy and friendly, and quiet and welcoming, we knew 'this was the place' when we visited. We're very happy with the experience here, and the care, and great progress Mom could make when she was here.

The staff is wonderful, friendly and caring and keeps me informed of his care and additional services he needs due to his illness. We have quarterly reviews in additional to just in time calls for approvals needed to enhance his care. I am totally comfortable in the care that this facility and staff provides. They are very trustworthy and I can sleep at night knowing my brother is cared for. Their programs are versatile and progressive so much so that his treatments are tailored for his needs. I highly recommend this facility and staff. Thanks for taking such good care of my loved one.

A digital upload system where you do your part and they claim you didn't. Quick to make a buck from insurance and act like you aren't paying (when you have proof of payments made by your insurer), deplorable lack of knowledge regarding government insurance cards and how to read them. You have other choices in town now. What could have been a stellar service is missing the mark. July 2 was treated as if I was there for a fraudulent encounter. Told my Insurance was not accepted (had been successfully billed THIRTEEN previous times!), told I didn't upload my stuff (I did 2x), and when presenting my cards, again refused. Had to have manager by phone who was useless because the staff member was not presenting the full information. Despite manager authorization staff member still would not run scans of materials. Finally persuaded to scan. materials. Staff changed gloves finally to get materials out. Then touched numerous other surfaces, then the materials then opened them with the dirty gloves. My attempts to protest the treatment, the management response, and the legit concerns were met with non-response until today when on WEEK FIFTEEN I was informed I could no longer use this facility because "I was rude (yep upset customers might be that way after you accuse them of fraud without a warrant to do so) and that I threw the completed package at the staff (umm no I actually set it in the bin, labeled samples because the staff was working with someone else)." So do yourself a favor. Their crappy system doesn't work. Rocket testing is not defined by a 23-minute encounter where you have to plead your innocence with an uneducated person and not worth the distress of finding out next week too late to get your weekly test and keep your job that they not only will not apologize, they have vindictively terminated the service. Also...I had an appt today--no one canceled and no one was there when I arrived--had to wait an additional 15 minutes to be told I was refused service. SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND INAPPROPRIATE!

Kind and caring and family focused. He will honestly listen to your needs, concerns and settles every worry that you could have. My entire family has been so happy with the care we have from him, the nurses that are so loving and even the check in staff. I have no idea how the best of the best that Northwestern Medicine are all in one office but we are SO glad they are all in St. Charles. Dr. Ward has a patient for life!

Valley Ambulatory Surgery Center and Valley Medical Inn are sister service providers that were, in…read moremy case, a seamless experience. The Surgery Center, as implied, is an outpatient surgery facility. The Inn provides for more extensive "recovery" than is normal for an outpatient center (in my case the stay at the Inn was a few hours but could be as much as a couple days). That's the nuts and bolts...now the experience: It starts with a pre-op visit a few days prior to make sure that I'm ready, introduce the facility and review what I am to expect. The impression is of an exceedingly qualified, confident and professional team proudly providing the very best care in the very best and most comfortable (think spa vs. hospital) environment. Surgery day: I check in at about 8:30 AM. From then on, all of my first impressions prove correct. These people amaze in how well they anticipate all that is or might be needed to keep me calm and comfortable. After full hip replacement, I move to the Inn by early afternoon, have a spa-like lunch, a couple of short physical therapy sessions....and walk out with aid of a walker by late afternoon. Across the board, the people of VASC and VMI amaze in their dedication to provide the best care to their patients and their ability to make what is usually a frightening event into a painless, stress free and routine experience . If the words surgery and pleasurable could ever be considered in the same sentence , it would be here. In all this praise of VASC and VMI, I don't mean to overlook or slight those deserving of the greatest praise. A great surgical result requires a great surgeon. Dr. Shawn W.
