4/26/25 Pad Kee Mao/ Drunken Noodles.
Teaira J.

After about an hour of looking at DoorDash and seeing what's close and what sounds good, which was stir fry noodles, I finally picked this restaurant because of their Pad Kee Mao. It is the best I have had yet and I love Thai food. First of all there was plenty of meat, good amount of spice like I asked, vegetables, and flavor! I wasn't planning on eating the whole thing but...it happened. If I am in the area again I will probably be getting this exact thing even though try to not order the same thing at a restaurant.

FOOD - Drunken Noodles with Shrimp - great overall and well cooked. The noodles weren't too oily which was good. The portion size was generous. - K21 Fried K-Chicken Wings - The wings were crispy and well sauced. There was a hint of vinegar taste and it was pretty good. The sauce was also evenly coated which gave good flavor throughout the whole eating experience. - Fried Squid - The dish came with a sweet and sour sauce which was tasty. The breading covering on the outside wasn't too thick so it tasted good. It was served on top of dried noodles. Overall the dish was pretty good but a tad bit on the saltier side. - Thai Basil Fried with Beef - This dish was great! The rice wasn't too dry and the beef was well-cooked and tender. There was that good pan/fried taste that came with cooking the dish which my family greatly enjoyed. - Chili Fried Rice with Beef - This dish edges on the spicier side but it's not the pain type of spicy, it just hits but it is very yummy. The vegetables are well-cooked and there is the perfect amount of sauce to enhance the dish. - Pho Combination - The pho broth was a bit on the sweeter side than traditional Vietnamese pho that I've had. The noodles were well cooked and weren't soggy. Beef balls and the pho meat was great! VIBES Pretty modern vibes overall. Tables and chairs are mostly wooden and lots of lighting from the window. Brightly lit within and pretty clean. Great place for family dinner! SERVICE The food came out super fast and all the food comes in really generous portions. Our server ensured that all the food was safe and peanut free for my allergy. Great experience overall!

Great place for weekday lunch! We ordered fried vegetable spring rolls, side of pad Thai, garlic beef (so much fresh garlic!) stir fry, and red curry. The portions were just right for lunch, and we loved all of the fresh veggies, which were cooked until just crisp and vibrant. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her healing bowl of piping hot chicken pho. Service was fast, and the staff were friendly. We'll be back!

Super fresh and tasty Thai food. Would absolutely recommend and can't wait to go back again myself.

Enjoyable pho place in Norman. The atmosphere is modern and they have a neat system to call for a waiter or ticket at the table. The service was fast and food hot. Not the best I've had but good overall!

The fresh spring rolls with rice paper are wonderful so many flavorful textures in every bite. The black tea is perfect. Every dish looks as great as it taste and they know how to spice things up. It's also a great place to order on line for pick up!

We went in a Thursday night and we were seated immediately. The chicken egg rolls were so crunchy and the pho was hot and delicious! My bf got the pad thai (not pictured) and it was amazing as well. Lots of noodles. Definitely will be back to try more :)

My pad Thai was really sweet for my liking. And it could really use a tad more meat. The side of one spring roll was ok. My hubby's pho was pretty good.

One of the medical friends I have suggested to me about 6 months ago that I try a Thai restaurant called PANANG. PANANG Restaraunts at least the 2 ive enjoyed, serve the absolute freshest, flavorful Asain foods I've ever eaten. It is a Religious experience. Great flavors, super presentation, flavor profiles fit for Royalty. If you crave wonderful flavor away from the typical Chinese restaurants. Try Panang Thai Restaurant. To me it seems they have studied well how to present the best of all food worlds. Looks, presentation, flavor, perfected sauces, great combinations. I believe you'll enjoy this restaurant group as much as any you call your favorite. The spring Rolls, Shrimp Rolls etc. are some of the best. I especially love their Peanut Sauce with their Spring Rolls and Shrimp Rolls. Ive tried several dishes and have not found one I didnt love. If it were kosher, I moan while eating there. Give these restaurants a try. I know you'll love them. I sure do.

My wife's side of the family was all in town for a visit and we took them here for my mother-in-law's birthday. At the end, each of the five couples were given a handheld payment machine that did not provide an itemized bill but only a number which we were led to believe was the pre-tip subtotal. The numbers were significantly larger than we were all expecting but the bill was not itemized, so we had no way to see why it was high and no one was in the mood to contest. We assumed we had simply misread the menu. Immediately after paying what we believed was the pre-tip subtotal, the machine asked for a tip that began at 20%. We assumed this was the normal tip and all tipped 15-20%. After I got in the car, I thought to myself, "There's no way that was the right amount." I went back inside and asked for a receipt. She printed and handed me a non-itemized receipt. I then said, "No, I would like an itemized receipt." She printed it off for me and there it was: they charged a 20% gratuity that was never disclosed and then deceptively asked for another 20% tip on top. When confronted and asked for a refund on the double tips for all five families at the table, they provided a refund and pointed me to their menu which contained, in the very fine print, a disclaimer that all parties above five people would be charged 20% gratuity. So their legal bases might be covered, though one could certainly still make an argument for deceptive practices. There should be no expectation of having to read the fine print on a restaurant menu. But even if it's legal, and I'm not sure that it was given the clear intent to deceive, that doesn't change the fact that the behavior is scammy, third-world bullcrap that does not belong in America. I see that the owner claims on another comment that they provide, in addition to the machine, a handwritten, itemized bill that displays the 20% fee. This is false. One member of our party who specifically asked for an itemized bill received a handwritten note that was entirely illegible scribbles. The others, including myself, did not receive anything other than the handheld machine with the deceptive "subtotal". We are sad to lose one of our go-to spots, but, on principle, we will not support businesses that treat us and our fellow Oklahomans this way. Especially if they are going to lie to us afterwards and pretend it was our fault rather than acknowledge their actions and clear intent to defraud.

The food came out hot, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Here's what we ordered: Tom Yum Soup Spring Rolls General Chicken Chicken Fried Rice Pad Thai with Chicken (one regular, one spice level 3) Everything had great flavor, and the portions were generous. The General Chicken and soup were standout favorites. The only small critique? The Pad Thai noodles were a bit on the mushy side -- something we saw mentioned in other reviews. But honestly, the flavor made up for it, and we'd still order it again. It's always nice to support a local spot that's been part of Norman for over 20 years. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

The house curry was the worst curry I've ever had. I honestly think the cook messed it up and or gave me the wrong order. I did not taste any curry at all. It was straight coconut milk, chicken, and veggies. I ordered a 3 spice and did not taste so much as 1 chili flake. SO VERY disappointed... I'd like to mention that they have a lunch buffet. I should have just got that instead. Checking it out on my way out, it didn't look very impressive, but I'm positive that it could not possibly have been as bad as the curry they sold me.

With that being said, the service is a bit slow so do plan on a wait if you are stopping by. Our go to order is the soy garlic wings, the tofu soup, and some rice! We also tried to the bibimbap for the first time, and it was also very flavorful. My only note for the food here, is that they are a bit stingy on the quantity for the price. I found the portion of our bibimbap sauce to be very little, and they charge extra for more banchan versus the usual free refill in a Korean restaurant. I still love coming, and the staff is sweet
