    Szechuan beef

Chow's Chinese Restaurant still serves tasty food, however depending on who's in the kitchen. My Szechuan beef and the Green Chile beef were both tasty but very chewy or tough - the beef needed to be tenderized!!! Our hot and sour soup was lacking flavor. The fried eggplant was absolutely delicious. The BBQ pork was very tender and tasty. Friendly fast customer service.

Love the food. Our favorites are the Szechuan style eggplant and the shrimp with flat noodles. Not crazy about the wontons or crispy duck but everything else has been great.

Food was served pretty quickly and service was good. This is our go to for Chinese food.

Very good Chinese food and lower prices, their curry Chicken with rice is also great. Their steamed dumplings are also excellent as well. Beverages such as iced tea and OJ are also provided (in addition to Pepsi products). Interior ambiance also spacious with plenty of tables. Service also prompt and attentive. Recommended!

This place has been recommended to me for years and I've never been, so tonight my partner and I decided to go for dinner. I had the curry fried rice, he had the combination udon noodles and we split some apps (fried dumplings and crab Rangoon). The ladies in the front of the house were nice but not overly friendly. The place looked clean. The food was good but honestly a little underwhelming, especially for the price (which has gone up but they haven't changed it on any of the menus so surprise your $36 meal for two is now $50 before tip). The fried dumplings were really over done and the rangoon were almost non edible they were so well done. The fried rice was really tasty and to quote my partner "the udon noodles were good but the meat just tasted like it was from a fajita plate at a bad Mexican restaurant." I would definitely eat there again and try something different but it definitely didn't quite live up to the hype of my friends' recommendations.

I miss Chows soooo much. I used to live about half a mile away and get to enjoy the salt and pepper tofu weekly. Do not let the outside of the building deter you. This place is as legit as it gets. Every time I visit OKC, I have to go to Chows. It's just damn delicous. The owners are so friendly and provide excellent service. Hands down, Choes is one of my all time favorite places to eat .

Chinese food craving = Satisfied! If you're looking for a place to get Chinese food, this is the place to go. Upon arrival, the parking lot was packed. Once inside, and after viewing the menu, the options were endless. From authentic options to Westernized options, there's something for everyone. We got the Kung Pao Chicken, Szechuan Chicken, Chicken with Black Bean Sauce, spring rolls, egg rolls, and hot and sour soup (not pictured). Prices are reasonable! You can adjust the spice level, and chili oil is available at the table. My family and I have been on the hunt for a good Chinese restaurant, and we left Chow's knowing we would definitely return. We have found our go-to Chinese restaurant. We hope to return one day during lunch, too! The lunch specials looked very good! Come give Chow's a try the next time you're looking to eat Chinese food!

Over cooked my lobster. The chef must be in the rush.

Over cooked my lobster and stirred fried vegetables tasted very light. The chef must be on the rush.

This is the lunch General Tso's Chicken - this is easily two portions.

The interior is comfortable, charming and a bit whimsical. We started with an order of cheese sticks. They were very good and large. I liked that the cheese sticks did not have Italian seasoning in the breading. Jan ordered the chicken fried ribeye with mashed potatoes, cream gravey and green beans. Jan loved it. I took a bite of the chicken fried steak and it was excellent. The green beans were very good. They were loaded with garlic, which I love, but if you're not a garlic fan, I would suggest another side. I ordered the grilled chicked sandwich with waffle fries. Because I would genuinely go back just for that. I kept telling myself "one more piece" and then suddenly half the basket was gone. The only reason it's getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because the wait for our food felt a little longer than expected. They have outdoor seating available, but we decided to sit inside where everything was neat, tidy, and running like a well-oiled machine. The staff throughout the restaurant were friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Unfortunately, our first table felt like it was sitting directly under the Arctic Circle, so we politely asked to be moved. Thankfully, that wasn't a problem. Once relocated, we landed in Ms. Jemara's section. Ms. Jemara was a sweet young lady with a warm smile, a friendly personality, and excellent customer service. She was attentive, welcoming, and checked on us throughout our meal without hovering. For drinks, my sister ordered a Coke while I went with a glass of water and an Orion beer. For appetizers, I ordered the Chicken Karaage and a side of Gyoza. For my main course, I chose the Vegan Miso Butter Corn Ramen and added a Nitamago egg. The Chicken Karaage was nice and crispy and made for a good starter. The Gyoza was enjoyable as well. As for the ramen, it was decent--certainly not the best I've ever had, but far from the worst. What surprised me was learning that the owners are from Okinawa, Japan. I was expecting a broth packed with rich, bold flavor, but this vegan broth came across a little milder than I anticipated. To be fair, this was my first time trying a vegan ramen broth, so that may have played a role. Since I don't eat pork, I've sampled quite a few different styles of ramen over the years, and while this bowl was good, I've personally had more flavorful versions elsewhere. Even so, the restaurant was clean, the service was excellent, and Ms. Jemara helped make the experience an enjoyable one.
