This was recommended I try, and man they weren't wrong! Flavor, flavor and more flavor! Why not a 5? The spice levels were pretty weak compared to other Thai places I've been to across the country. Portions were also a tad on the smaller side. The thai sausage also had some texture issues. I've had the thai sausage before and this one had waaaayyy too much going. It was very hard to get over the grainy, mushy, dry texture. The flavors were ok. The spectacular green chile sauce they served with the sausage masked alot of the flaws. It was amazing!! The Tom Kha soup was my favorite. The shrimp suggestion paired perfectly with the the rich coconut broth. No tails on the shrimp! ! Again the spice levels here are very muted, I have a high spice tolerance but the spice was not there. Still great. The chicken on all the dishes is nothing special. I look at it as filler here. Just dry strips of chicken breast. The massuman curry was carried by the broth completely, as well as the red curry. They nailed down all the flavors! They just need to adjust the spice levels accordingly and let the reigns go! A 5 here is like a medium back home. This place is a hidden gem in Bethany. Family owned and family employed. Mom is in the kitchen making all the food. The server/daughter was so sweet and answered all the questions I had. I went for lunch, and left with enough food for another meal. The Tom Yum had so much flavor and the fresh cilantro on top made it so much better! The Pad See Ew with chicken was perfect, and a lot of food. There was a good amount of chicken and egg in it, and the flavor was soooo good. The pad thai here is absolutely delicious the perfect balance of savory and sweet. Was in OK for a week craving some pad thai and ordered from here. Service can be slow because there was only 1 server who's also the host & cashier. Curry puffs were kind of small with no chicken inside even tho I ordered the chicken curry puff. The lunch & dinner portions are about the same. Thus, lunch prices are more affordable. There was no meat in my tom yum soup & I'm not used to having broccoli & carrot in my tom yum soup.
