Renovations can be stressful, but Avi makes the process feel manageable because he is clear, responsive, and always keeps you updated on what is happening and what to expect next. Before choosing TeamWork Designs, I spoke with 4 to 5 other contractors. Several would not even consider my project because they felt it was not "big enough," which was frustrating because I live in a townhome and the size of the project is obviously out of my control. Avi never made me feel that way. With him, no job feels too big or too small. He treated my home and my projects with the same level of care and importance you would hope for from any great contractor. His pricing is competitive, and the team he brings in is excellent. Everyone I interacted with, from the demo team to the electricians, painters, and other trades, was friendly, professional, and trustworthy. That matters so much when you have people working inside your home. On top of all of that, Avi is incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely great to be around. Some aspects of the workmanship appeared rushed, and based on our experience, I would recommend exercising caution with detail-oriented tasks such as wood staining, drywall, painting, or door hardware installation. I wanted to hire UB Kitchens as they seemed legit. They met with me about my kitchen gut/remodel…read morejob and gave me a quote of $25k. I really liked their customer service and the high quality of their cabinets. Unfortunately, as my house was getting close to completion, I flew in to meet in person to work on the kitchen project and they quoted me $66k now. I understand prices are increasing during the pandemic but not nearly triple. It looks like on top of the price increases, they may have counted the wrong number of cabinets needed for the project. I tried to work with them cause I wanted it to work out but ultimately, I would have had to make too many sacrifices to fit the budget such as not doing some upper cabinets and doing open shelving instead. In making these edits, they could get it down to $45k, still double the original quote and with too many sacrifices. If I calculate cabinets, counters, GC work, etc, the kitchen would be well over $100k. For that price, you should just go with a fully custom kitchen company. If I wasn't building a new house, building out a big pool and deck and all these other incredibly expensive projects, I would have liked to go with UB, but their pricing was more than I think I'd worth for semi custom

Koren was super pleasant to work with all around. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. A lot of a great ideas during the initial meeting, for how to keep our project within budget, and where it was worth splurging or dialing back. We had requested a bid on two main projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were shocked by how much of the "bonus" projects we could fit in, and yet felt very confident with Koren's insights that these were realistically within our budget. The formal quote came in REALLY fast after our meeting, and was very easy to follow and extremely fairly priced. Was very impressed with how quickly they were ready to begin the work, and the forethought of asking us if we planned to "live-in" during the remodel vs. get an AirBNB or the like. We hadn't even thought of that. Would have been very confident in moving forward with ATX Remodeling.
