The BEST THING to happen in the past month was RIPPING out the Shaw Vinyl flooring that Green…read moreCarpet and their installers put in wrong causing the vinyl to buckle from underneath. What did their installers do wrong? They used WAY TO MUCH WATER in the leveling compound that NEVER dried and it destroyed the vinyl from underneath. For over 2 years, the water sat there destroying the floor from underneath. And you said... well there's moisture underneath. Well yes... but there was no leak in the slab, there was no leak in either of the two sinks, there was no leak in the toilet. There was no leak in the dishwasher and there was no leak in the water dispenser on the refrigerator. Green Carpet (and IF they contacted Shaw) then denied us any warranty claim. What a shame. We gave Green Carpet lots of money when we moved into this house with whole house carpet and wooden flooring in the dining room. Probable future business and recommendations are NO more. We hired a new company who ripped the vinyl floor out, you can see from the pictures enclosed. The tiles were wet underneath. The leveling had turned to powder. They then sanded the floor down properly, and then the entire floor was sealed (which had your installers done, the floor would have lasted MAYBE) We then had a very nice ceramic tile installed. Rest assured, you have not heard the end of me. After this flooring rip-out discovery in that we did nothing wrong, I will do what I can to social media post your company that the buyer should beware. We lost a lot of money, and you will likely lose a lot more money through the power of bad social media and reviews. It will be tagged to Shaw Flooring also. I hear on radio you are moving out of Windcrest. Good for the residents of Windcrest. Goodbye and Good Riddance

The dishonesty, lack of integrity, and unprofessionalism displayed throughout the nine-month ordeal has placed a significant burden on my family. What should have been an exciting and positive home improvement project quickly turned into a complete nightmare. Despite our patience and flexibility, we were forced to endure prolonged absences from job site, repeated false promises, lack of leadership and direction, constant turnover in their crew, and consistently poor workmanship. We rearranged nearly every part of our daily lives to give O&E Remodeling every opportunity to complete the job they were hired--and paid in full--to perform. Even with that, they still failed to deliver. To make matters worse, several key tasks remain incomplete; major electrical work, cabinet painting and hardware installation, installation of mantle and shelves and multiple areas of unfinished surfaces throughout the project. These are basic, critical elements of the job that were left incomplete despite repeated assurances that they would be addressed. It is impossible to understand how this company believes its actions are acceptable or how it can show no remorse for the financial, emotional, and personal hardship it caused. At this point, the only responsible conclusion is that O&E Remodeling's services should be avoided. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

Nice quality on the cabinets, however, the cabinets were made about 3/4" short of the old ones requiring new baseboards. I searched and sourced these on my own, but asked they paint them as they were already doing touch-up from other damage during installation. They refused, and what really soured it for me was the owner saying "well you approved the drawings!" (Whose dimensions did not include a gap). So for lack of a couple of feet of paint I will not be using them for the bulk of our project. As intended, I found out the character and the willingness to correct mistakes of the operation before getting in too deep. Onward to someone who stands behind their work and understands the importance of ownership of problems. Sadly, I would not recommend them until they figure this out.

We are still engaged in civil lawsuit, we and a dozen others have filed police reports, and he and his wife just recently filed for bankruptcy. We ended up ripping everything out, donating the cabinets that survived the demolition to Habitat for Humanity, and starting all over again with Cibolo Creek Craftsmen as our new dream maker. Craig and his team's professionalism were literally the breath of fresh air we needed. They immediately put us to rest with their professional approach, helping us redesign our spaces, offering incredible design suggestions based on their experience (including cabinet arrangement, stain-grade wood species, colors and stains), and most importantly to me, expertly managing our expectations by not promising us anything that he wasn't fully confident he could deliver in the scope, schedule or budget of the project. His team came through in SPADES, from the quality of cabinet construction, the scheduling of deliveries, the professional installation, their attention to the small details, all the way to final finish and adjustments!! We made an agreement that we would work with the company to select the color since we were buying the house. We talked to the owner about the flooring and got great promises. The pictures on the website are all without imperfections, but I have been informed that imperfections are allowed for in the contract. Unfortunately the work done on the floors came out with a multitude of big white splotches and scratches and the owner is now saying that the big white scratches are part of the "decorative imperfections" and not terrible scratches where the stain did not take. See the pictures as they do not look like those on the website. I am so disappointed in what we thought would be a beautiful floor. Buyer beware!

The subcontractors they hire for the kitchen granite countertops for this company are aweful!…read more We always tell our friends to steer clear of this company when they mention they're looking to install granite countertops. They are great over the phone(polite, great salespitch), but the work was subpar. I have given up trying to schedule a time for them to come and fix what they didn't do right the first time! I have to now hire another company to fix the work NPLH did. Project manager(hardly showed up,unless we called to point out a problem)did not supervise workers the proper way, this is why work turned out bad. They do not pay attention to detail. Ex.the glue/seal they used for the sink undermount of granite countertop was the wrong type, water leaking through and seeping into our cabinets. Home Depot told me this shouldn't happen if they used right epoxy. Sink shouldnt be leaking after 2 years of having been installed.. Ex.they left the underside of countertop (where it meets up with cabinets) with a gap, wooden trim should have been installed. Careful out there folks! Overall, it was a bad experience working with this company.

And get this--instead of trying to make a sale immediately and using high-pressure sales tactics, she suggested I go home and buy a cheap leather ottoman from Walmart to see how my cat would react to it and figure out whether or not leather might be an option for my sofa. Not only does she have great connections to companies that produce the furniture I want, she has great ideas on how to decide what will and won't work for me!
