I unfortunately didn't consult any reviews before going here. It was nearby and was open later on Saturday than the other area kitchen stores. In June we went in and picked out cabinets. The pricing seemed good, we got to choose every last detail and we selected stuff we really liked. They warned us about the long wait for the cabinets we'd selected. It's COVID, everything is taking forever, we understood that we wouldn't get our cabinets for four months. Before we went to the store we talked to our contractor for tips and he mentioned being sure to ask about toe kicks (the little piece of trim that goes next to the floor) because sometimes they don't include it. They assured me that all the needed trim/finishing pieces would be included (spoiler alert: they weren't). After a month or so I called to check in for the anticipated delivery date and it was supposed to be October 13-19th. October 13th rolled around and I didn't hear anything, so I called on the 14th or 15th to see if they were still on track and they said they were. I didn't hear anything and finally on the 22nd I called and asked what was going on. They said that the cabinets were going to be delivered between the 25th-29th. Despite talking to them two or three times during the anticipated delivery window and being assured everything was on time, nobody told me about the delay until after the window had passed and I called and asked. Then, when the cabinets arrived in the store, I learned that the glass is installed by another outside entity, so the cabinets that had panes of glass in the doors would need to have the doors removed and sent out for the glass installation which would take a week or two. So, when the cabinets came to my house on October 27th I got my intact floor cabinets (minus the toe kicks) and my hanging cabinets (minus the doors). As I waited for them to unload the countertop I learned that they damaged the countertop loading it into the truck so I'd have to pick out a new countertop. Two weeks after the delivery I called to check on the doors to see if they were ready since my contractor was coming today to install the cabinets. They said that the cabinet doors had come back from the installer with the glass, but had gotten scratched up in the process so were being touched up. Again, no update until I called and asked about the holdup. I appreciate that they aren't trying to pass off damaged items to me, but at the same time, something seems to get damaged at every step of the process, leading to more delays. I picked out a new countertop, and to be sure they didn't damage this one, they had the countertop company deliver/install themselves. When the installers showed up they asked who'd measured the space for the counter, and I said nobody - Kitchen and Bath simply sent them the dimensions. They said that's not how it should be done, they should always measure, because the walls it butts up against are not perfectly square, so the countertop didn't fit perfectly. A contractor is going to have to cut out a section of wall to make the counter fit correctly now. Yesterday, 11/30 I finally got the last of the pieces I needed for my cabinets/counter. This started in June - the first four months weren't their fault, but the additional month+ of delays after delivery were frustrating and could've been better handled with better communication. The final product is very nice, but I would be wary of using them again. read more

I ordered a 36 inch vanity. The sales associate changed the size to a 30 inch vanity. This was done without my knowledge. It's not legal to charge someone for a product they didn't order. The store has not made this situation right with me. read more

I'm surprised at the other reviews on here. I came here several times over the years casually looking at the showrooms. In the spring of 2019 I walked in cold with some plans I drew up for a total kitchen remodel, and was promptly setup with Jim. His knowledge, recommendations, attention to detail, tone, and focus on my project was impressive immediately. He never seemed to be disinterested in my ideas and incorporated some of his own that I ended up loving. He spent a half a day on 2 or 3 different visits with me. He also came back to me with more ideas and information. He sent plans via email when I requested them. An idea for an up-sell was offered, but I never ever felt pressured to make that decision; it was just him offering me all available information that would have been missed had he not. The cabinets came in about 12 weeks which was good for me since I wasn't in hurry. In fact, I paid in full after they came in and they will store them there indefinitely until I'm ready to install. I greatly appreciate their offer with this. They carry good quality affordable cabinets (Wolf, Kemper) as well some very nice top line models (Masterbrand Decora.) In 2012 we had our Kitchen done and had a lot of trouble . I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. I won't go into details but the job was done sloppily. Got hardwood floors installed that are defective,electric outlets crooked,loose molding to the ceiling barely attached,wall ceramic tiles cut unevenly to name just a few things not to mention the main (so called boss of the project who wasn't here most of the time)worker and his attitude in store and at my home. Also rinsing grout tools in my kitchen sink that clogged it. $22,000.00 job and that's what the customer gets. I don't know how they are still in business. read more

Just no. We couldn't get past the uber hyper saleswoman who did not know how to listen. She was incredibly distracted and insulting at every turn. From talking to her wrist (she had to take that call) to click click clicking her ball point pen to commenting on our physical appearance I just wanted out of there. And fast. She directed us to the most expensive set ups after assuming we just fell off the apple cart and were totally ignorant regarding all things kitchen renovation. Run Forrest Run. read more

I'm start my remodeling process. I walked in and no one acknowledged me. I hung around checking things out for about 20 minutes and still was never acknowledge. As an African American woman, it was disheartening. I haven't had anything like this happen to me in many years. What a shame. read more

The reviews below are pretty indicative of the customer service experience given by K&BU. Can't speak for cabinets, but it turns out K&BU is just a middle man for a countertop company from Canada, and not in a good way. My husband and I were looking to replace a cheap countertop installed in our house by the flipper who sold it to us. We were able to work with K&BU to pick out a nice quartz at the beginning of December. They were supposed to call us to come measure, but that didn't happen until a few weeks later, and we had already informed them we would be gone for a cruise at that time and wouldn't be in the country. They ended up coming on January 3rd. I'm not sure if this was someone from their company or someone from the countertop company, as the many came into my home and quietly measured the countertops as expected. He told me K&BU would be in touch... except that never happened. We had zero contact with them until we reached out to K&BU on our own at the end of January. We contacted them but got voicemail, then they reached out to figure out what was going on, and we eventually got a call from them to do the install. The real situation was that if we didn't force the issue every single time, nothing would have happened. After a couple weeks of no returned phone calls, I reached out to them via direct message on their facebook page. It was seen, and consequently ignored.When they finally figured out a time to install, I realized we would be lucky to actually see this all the way through. I felt like it was poor planning to not look at the weather for the upcoming week that was legitimately a Polar Vortex and say that your installers would be coming in what would be the worst of the storm. I didn't have an issue with them not coming in this, I wouldn't have expected them to, but I'm still at a loss as to why they wouldn't just schedule for the following week. When the counter top company called to reschedule, they told us to make sure the demo was done, which of course resulted in much confusion from my husband and I. They told us they weren't aware a demo had to be done and that could incur extra costs, but would be around Monday 2-4PM. My husband ended up calling K&BU to clear this up and it was handled, at no extra cost to us, which would make sense, considering we requested a demo from the very beginning. The person from the counter top company we talked to apparently didn't make it clear to whoever came out to our house on Monday that we also needed a demo of our existing sink and countertops to the countertop installers, because they came into our house and pronounced they didn't have room in their van for the countertop. They also came an hour early, with zero call ahead and were surprised that I was told they'd be here at 2PM, not 1PM. For someone who does not have a flexible work arrangement, this could be an even bigger issue. All said and done, our countertops look pretty fabulous, I just wish it didn't take 3 months to get them installed and that we had to be constantly on top of calling them to figure out what was going on. I would not recommend K&BU at all because of the poor communication and the fact that they really didn't do much. I'm not sure how I can accurately review this company since they barely did anything in terms of actual manual labor, but then again, that is actually why I'm reviewing this company. read more

The worst customer service ever!! Be very aware of the fact that they do not back their products. Purchased a kitchen from them and part of the roll out drawer broke 1 week after installation and when we called they would not return our call. When the kitchen was delivered Fran ordered all of the wrong door fronts which held up the contractors. The door fronts that they reordered are all peeling and splitting. I don't believe that they are wood that we paid for. Looks like particle board!! When they came out to house after 2 1/2 years to inspect they said its normal wear and tear caused from my nails!! I have no nails.Only 2 people live in the house and are gone most of the day. Ordered oven from them and from the start it did not work. They wanted to do nothing about it. Finally sent someone out to repair a brand new oven and repair guy could not fix. Repair guy that they sent actually walked out of the house with the oven still on and could not be turned off. At times it would get up to 600 degrees. We were left with no oven for Thanksgiving. The owner came out to house with Decora rep and I asked why has it taken so much time to get back to me about all of the problems that we were having the owner said "Ma'am I have a 100,000.00 car that has a ding on it and it took 1 year to fix!!!!". That was the excuse for not returning calls or taking care of the problems that we have had since we had kitchen installed. He said things take time!!!! This is the worst customer service that I have ever experienced anywhere!! This was the third kitchen that I have renovated and the worst mistake of my life going with Kitchen and Bath Unlimited. February 15th I ordered most everything from this company ( tub , vanity , accessories , ect ). I was told 6 to 8 weeks for products to arrive . After 10 weeks I called to get status of the items I ordered. The salesperson was originally pleasant and most knowledgable about the items I ordered . Between that person and the owner himself , the customer service was horrible . All I was asking for was to keep me updated on my order. That seemed to be too much to ask for. My calls were not returned and if it wasn't for a lady named Kristine ( who answered the phone ) I don't know what I would have done . You don't remodel a bathroom very often and I happened to pick the wrong business . My items took all of 20 weeks to arrive and the last piece came to me on July 28th. I purchased bathroom cabinetry and a sink and countertop from Kitchens & Baths Unlimited for a complete bathroom renovation earlier this year. The experience in the store was positive and friendly and I ordered the products without hesitation. I was told it would be 6-8 weeks for delivery and the delivery was timely, however, when the products arrived, the countertop and sink were not what I ordered and none of the cabinet hardware was delivered. I ordered a Quartz countertop in a white with grey veining pattern and a rectangular sink. What arrived was a brown, gold flecked countertop with a round sink. I called our salesperson immediately thinking my delivery must have been mixed up with someone else's. The salesperson I worked with called me back and proceeded to tell me that colors can look different in the showroom and I was probably mistaken. I had the bill of sale in front of me and asked how exactly something called "Blanco Cristal" is brown and gold-and even if it just "looks different than it did in the showroom" that does not explain why I received a round sink, when I ordered (as evidenced by the receipt in front of me) a rectangular sink? He agreed to look in to it and called me back and explained that the sample we had chosen from in the store was a misplaced sample and is no longer available. You would think that if it was no longer available from the manufacturer that would have come to light when he placed the order? But, this was never communicated to me and I was simply delivered something I didn't order or want. My options at that point were, I could keep what they gave me (which would have matched absolutely nothing), choose another option and wait another 6-8 weeks for it, or pick from something they had on hand. My contractor was due to begin work the following week and waiting another 6-8 weeks was not an option. I had to choose from something that was ready. Upon installation, we noticed that there is a significant spot of the countertop that appears to be unfinished. The majority of the countertop is polished smooth but there is a spot of a few inches that is rough and dull. After all of this, never once did the salesperson so much as apologize for the mix up or the inconvenience. There was not even a follow up from the salesperson to make sure the second delivery was right. I also had to drive back, out of my way, to pick up the door and drawer pulls they forgot about too. I was highly disappointed with my experience here and would not go back or recommend them. The customer service is non-existent from the person who answers the phone to the salespeople. read more

Some interesting product, but Dave Albertson - "design specialist" - sold me a bath item he claimed was "duplicate ordered." A 200+ lb. item, I transported it back to the city only to find it was severely chipped, with a piece missing. Dave led me to think that we were two business people completing an honest transaction, but it really turned out that he sales-pitched me a broken warehouse item so he could clear out some of his inventory and make a few bucks. I wouldn't spend money on the brick to throw through the front window of the place. There are plenty of other options for showrooms on Walden - go check them out instead. read more

The worst customer service ever. I went there on two different occasions and both times were a disappointment. First time I went with a drawing and picked out some pieces all by myself no one helped me, I get up to the front to get an estimate on price and I barely got that information. Between 65-80/sq ft doesn't really help... So I take me samples leave and call to make an appointment hoping for better luck. Wrong again, it was like pulling teeth to get an appointment. Get there pull out my phone with a nice drawing and measurements on it and kelly gives attitude about having to re draw it... Heaven forbid they actually do any work. I had to come up with an alternate solution of getting the drawing to her but by this point I have had enough. I will take my hard earned money to a business that actually cares and works with a client. Kelly needs to work on her customer service skills or be FIRED! read more
