It was originally named "Artisa Kitchen" but local artists started complaining that, in fact, art is not a kitchen. Which is debatable, really. So they changed their name and added a letter to both words, and hey presto. Four stars because it's expensive, but there's not a lot of cheap-end home interior stuff out there, especially not that looks this good. You have to be moderately wealthy to afford the "ready made rooms" on display in here. If you're into remodeling the inside of your home, you'll probably find this place orgasmic. The employees are very friendly, patient, and there was no sort of high-pressure sales tactics as far as I could tell. Or maybe people just know better because they take one look at me and realize I'm unsellable. Or maybe it's just that the products in here are so impressive and top-of-the-line that they don't need to really push to sell anything. I can't afford to shop here, but it's a hell of a great place to bring a girl who has her own house or wants her own house. Then I get rewarded with a make out session in the parking lot. If you love the newest and latest designs and kitchen appliances this is the place for you! Its life a playground for kitchen and or bath enthusiasts because they literally have anything and everything you could ever dream about for your home. I love anything to do with a kitchen and someday hope to reach that perfect design in my mind. But for now this place happens to by my playground and makes me wish that I owned my own house so I could trick it out with some sexy and sleek stuff. The staff is very helpful and is knowledgeable about all the items that the store contains. This is also the location for the Nickel City Chef competitions which I have yet to attend, but I hear they are fabulous! read more

This place is gigantic, and their two floors are chock full of the latest in kitchen equipment. I adore all the different setups they hae, and I spent my time there opening every single door and drawer. Each oven and fridge was nicer than the next. I could daydream about a kitchen like that for hours. It was rough to go back home to my old kitchen! The items are all top of the line and completely out of my price range- I don't know if I could ever afford a single appliance from this store, but it is a nice place to check out the latest and greatest, and just dream. read more

I love this place! I purchased a Blue Star platinum range from them back in April and could not be happier. The range is simply fantastic! The power is tremendous and it changes the way you are able to cook! I could never go back to using a standard home range after using the Blue Star! For sure shelling out $7000 on a 30 inch range seems quite extravagant, but now after using the thing for three months I am absolutely 100% sure that I made the right decision! The service at artisan kitchens and baths was fabulous quick and efficient! I went into look on a Saturday, picked out the one I wanted and it was delivered and installed the following week! Perfect! I wish I had a larger kitchen where I could fit in a larger range but honestly this has transformed my kitchen and the way I cook. Maybe I will get a larger range the next time I move house but for now I adore this range! Artisan has a wonderful showroom and demo center! Forget going to any other appliance store in the Buffalo area, they all suck in comparison! Here you can actually use the ranges. Touch and feel them, get a sense for how they work. Try doing that at your big box store or Orville's, it's not happening! read more

This place is my worst nightmare and ultimate favorite. In my lotto dreams come true will I ever own a Kitchens as spectacular and decadent as those on display in this place! You will find things here you never knew you wanted and I love/hate that SO much. So, I have been a few times now for special events and for the Nickel City Chef events. What a great place for a party. Every thing you need as far as space and amenity. My only semi-complaint for such events is that there is only one bathroom upstairs unless you don't mind to go in the opposite sex bathroom- no biggie, haven't seen any "accidents" but it would be nice to have an extra for the larger events and avoid the line. **Bonus** You can sometimes purchase floor-model items (even the flat panel TV's) read more

Absolute riot!!! We had our company holiday party here over the weekend and has an AMAZING time. They had two craft cocktail offerings, beer, and wine. They broke us up into teams (4 kitchens) and our own personal chef. Each team was given a list of main ingredients we had to use (protein, veggie, GF etc) and then were given the go ahead to "shop" in the pantry. There was fresh herbs, spices, veggies etc. On our team, Chef Len (who was an absolute GEM) taught us how to properly prepare a filet mingon. I understand NOW why they are so expensive -- it's a LOT of work. I learned how to properly use a knife!!! LOL Once the meals were prepared we learned plating techniques and then carried our prepared dishes back out to the main room to then enjoy each of the other teams renditions! It was a LOT of fun. Bathrooms are clean and bright. Parking is easy in the large lot out front. I would have set it up so we could sit down to eat. Lots of ladies wore heels out for the evening and it wasn't super convenient to sit but that was by design for our specific party I believe and with a little reworking of the room it could be done. I am considering having my next birthday here if the price is right! read more

Recently purchased a new Cambrian Quartz counter tops and a new wolf gas range from AKB. The people were not pushy and have nearly everything on site to help you decide what works best for you. Prices are competitive as well. There was a minor discrepancy in price during my dealing with them and it was promptly handled by management.
