I spoke with Hank, the owner, who graciously helped me track down the pillow I enjoyed during my vacation. He explained the size and pillow contents, and gave me a price directly over the phone. Hauptman does not have a website, but accepts orders and checks mailed to their distribution office. I was also thrilled that they do both small orders in addition to mass quantities for hotels. I purchased two luscious pillows: - King sized, 75% feather, 25% down - 20x36" - Cost: $45.00 each, plus $20.00 shipping I bet you're thinking: "$45 for a pillow! I can get one for $6.00 at Target!" Perhaps, but a $45 pillow lasts a minimum of 7 years without replacement. The feather and down stuffing helps draw away moisture, so you never wake up feeling clammy. I'm all about luxurious bedding, and couldn't be happier with my transaction at Hauptman.

I still do not have my chair back. I bought the fabric and they said they were picking my chair in 2 weeks. They took 6 weeks and I had to call and call and call again They told me they were taking 2 weeks to re cover my chair.... they still have my chair. I spoke with Carolyn yesterday afternoon who reassured me they were delivering my chair this afternoon between 5 to 6pm. As you can imagine is 6:40pm and I'm still waiting. At this point I don't know if I am going to see my chair again!

Everything is clean, relatively organized, and stocked well - a contrast to other long term opened HomeGoods locations. I've never been the biggest fan of TJX Companies' offerings (TJ Maxx, Home Sense, Marshalls, Sierra, HomeGoods), but some of the newer locations have been growing on me. Perhaps it's the newness or maybe they're getting less gaudy/lame junk and more decent offerings. There were more than one item I would've considered purchasing, but I needed to behave since the holidays are approaching and I'm on a budget. I didn't have any interactions with employees - as I usually don't at these stores as rarely anyone will ask if I need any help (not that I mind because I prefer it the other way around) and will go out of their way to evade the customers, so I can't comment that aspect. The cuing area is decent and I saw no lines and more than one cashier. As mentioned, it's in the spot that Staples used to be in - so those who know the area will know where I'm talking about. This new location shares the same space with some businesses, most notably a Pizza & Brew and TJI Fridays. Parking lot can be busy at times, but I've never had an issue finding a spot. There's decent parking on the side of HomeGoods as well. Overall a good entry in an area of good shopping choices and one more store to add to Central Park Avenue's large overall shopping options.

I ordered a made-to-order Hyde upholstered swivel armchair set (two chairs) in Rustic Chenille Brown on September 16, 2025, specifically to ensure accurate color matching for a full home renovation. The chairs were delivered on December 12, 2025, and immediately upon delivery it was clear that the color did not match the agreed-upon specifications. The difference was obvious and substantial. I reported the issue right away and provided clear photographic evidence, including side-by-side comparisons with the original fabric swatch. Despite this, my request for a return and refund was denied without a substantive review. The "made-to-order" label was used as a blanket excuse rather than addressing the fact that the product did not match what was ordered. Being unable to reach anyone with decision-making authority left me with no reasonable path to resolution. Ordering made-to-order furniture should not mean forfeiting basic consumer rights--especially when the product delivered is materially different from what was promised. Overall, this experience reflects poor quality control and even worse customer service. I would strongly caution others considering made-to-order items from Pottery Barn
