    Crabmeat egg rolls
    Sha T.

Recently stopped in for brunch. Menu looked good and vibes was right. While here I had the following: Crabmeat egg rolls: nicely seasoned. adequately portioned. Hardly any filler. There was a few shells which made eating them a bit meh. I kind of hate chewing and then have to forage to get the shell out. Greens: savory and not salty. Good. Red beans and rice: deelish! Very fresh and adequately seasoned Catfish and grits: super good. Catfish was freshly fried and seasoned well. Grits was creamy and smooth. I will say or you're visiting, reserve in advance. The space is on the small side. Service was quiet and courteous. Will definitely be back with the girls!

My friends and I reserved a table at Kitchen Klassifieds for their Saturday Brunch Party. Our reservation was at 2pm and we were seated upon arrival. The restaurant is small, very small and we were seated right in front of the door. Saturday was one of the coldest day or the year, so we were struggling a bit until they decided to turn tip the heat. Our waiter, Rodney, was great. He was very attentive and friendly. The other staff members were nice as well, checking in on us to make sure everything was ok. Their friendliness certainly made up for the slow service from the kitchen staff. The brunch was BYOB, they just required you to purchase one drink on the menu. I had two of the Mother's Love cocktails and I chased it with tequila ! We also ordered the soul rolls and the Hennessy apple glazed wings for the table. The soul rolls were very good, the wings, however; were a bit too sweet and could have been cooked harder. For my main course, I had the Escovitch Snapper which came with a side of rice and I also ordered the greens. The escovitch was a bit too vinegary, but the fish was fried good. The greens were really good, the perfect balance of spice and sour from the vinegar. All and all, our experience was good. But as mentioned, the heat was an issue. Kind of hard to really enjoy yourself when you're freezing. Also, the time it took for our meals to be ready was a little lengthy. I could see myself patronizing the business again, but I'd definitely opt for takeout.

The customer service here was excellent. The atmosphere was a vibe. The energy of the was calm but lively at the same time. They had old school R&b playing and it just felt fun. We ordered honey old bay wings. They were fried perfectly and they tasted great. The blue cheese dressing wasn't for my taste buds; it was a little too sweet. The jerk chicken egg rolls came cut in half horizontally. They were good but when I added the jerk sauce that came with it was excellent. Really flavorful. My husband said the french toast was great! He also enjoyed the mac n cheese. I ordered catfish with greens and red rice and beans. The catfish was fried perfectly and was good. The greens are good if you don't like them vinegary; I like mine more on the vinegary side, so these were my favorite. The red beans and rice was really good and probably my favorite thing. They also had strawberry half and half that my husband really enjoyed. I'd definitely come back!

Service was 10/10. Food came out hot and our order was correct. Fish was fried to perfection and every thing was well seasoned.

This is a small intimate spot in Glen Burnie. The food was banging! The service was on point! BYOB until April 2025. #teamnosey

Now thissss is a place I'd come to again, and again, and again. Kinda small in size, but service and food.. real big, real impressive. Cabbage, great. A little spicy, but that is personally my preference. Fried chicken, fried hard. Mac and chz, cheesy. Cheesesteak egg rolls, crunchy. Again, loved this spot. The only reason this location wasn't given 5 stars is because of their dining seats. I was seated here for about an hour and a half before I departed, and my butt hurt on their high chairs. I do have some hips and I'm not the smallest, so take that however you will, but imagine girls day brunch and we're here for around 2+3 hours... I'd want some more/better back support, and a little wider butt cushion. Other than that, GO! Great music, good.. attentive staff, and uh-mazing food.

Parking We were able to get street parking and there is a parking lot in the back. Customer Service Great customer service Ambiance Great ambiance Food The Baked Rotisserie Chicken, Honey Garlic Salmon and Cornbread was good. Feedback: It would be great to have unsweetened options for the juices and lemonade for those that aren't big sugary drink fans. Tap water was provided but it would be great to have an alternative.

Where We Bout To Eat At @kitchen_klassifieds Customer Service was Our waitress was super sweet, attentive, and very helpful! It's small inside but cute and cozy. Also, it's BYOB Here's what we had: Catfish Poboy w/ fries...Flavorful but way too salty (for me) and the fries were rather bland Pork chops were decent but the cabbage and corn, not so much. My friend said the cabbage tasted like it was smoked and the corn tasted frozen with no added umph Soul rolls were good! It's mac and cheese, yams, and greens in an eggroll Drinks (non alcoholic) were very good. They offer different flavor half and half. *It is BYOB, so a little added sauce (liquor) would set the drinks off!* #baltimorefoodblog #baltimorefoodie #baltimorefoodfinder #baltimorerestautants #eatmorebmore #charmcityfood #charmcityeats #dmvfoodfinder #dmvfoodie #dmveats #dmvrestaurants #eastcoasteats #marylandeats #blackgirlblogger #blackgirleats #baltimorebrunch #baltimoredinner #baltimorebreakfast #newfoodfinds #boujieblackgirl #wherewebouttoeatat #bmorecity #bmorecityfood #bmorecountyfood

    Omelet with grits

Decided to stop by with friends, we were there as they unlocked the door . The place is very small, probably about 30 seats, if that. The server we had was very nice! It seems to be a family run business, there was a woman, two children and I believe her husband there when we arrived, the adults were back and forth in the kitchen while the kids were kids watched tv. As far as aesthetic, the restaurant portion was very cute!!! The decorations were so cute, and the color scheme they chose worked out very well. The bathrooms on the other hand needed to be cleaned. As for the food, the food took a while to come, but we chalked it up to them just opening, making sure the grease was hot, etc. BUT THE FOOD CAME OUT HOT TO THE TABLE!!! So that was very appreciated. We ordered: 1. Jerk chicken Eggrolls - verrrrryyyyy good, especially with the sauce provided. 2. The wings - can't recall the flavor, but they were fried very well and the sauce was like a sweet chili 3. Omelette and grits - two of my friends ordered this dish, and they liked it, they said the grits needed more seasoning and the omelet was slight small, but they enjoyed it. 4. Catfish and grits - the catfish?!?!! FRIED TO PERFECTION...bayyybeeee, that fish was BOMB and seasoned! The plate of grits was ALOT and the sauce that came with it was good as well. It was a HUGE portion of grits for the size fish served, but it was very good. Cons: * ask questions about whatever you order, they give a QR code for the menu but some things on the menu are no longer offered. Example - the menu said potatoes with omelets, but they no longer serve potatoes * some of the drinks (primarily the lemonades) are not bottomless refills, so ask before ordering.

Catfish, Green Beans and Potato Salad

Let the church say Amen somebody!!! Kitchen Klassifieds....2 thumbs up!!! The food was delicious, and it was worth the drive and sitting in traffic on BW Parkway, traveling from Arlington, VA. The family and I traveled to Kitchen Klassifieds to enjoy lunch this afternoon (August 19, 2023). Upon arrival, we were greeted by a wonderful hostess and we were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time. My family and I were anxious to try just about everything on the menu because it all looked so good. To start us off, we ordered a round of Peach Tea's and water. The Peach Tea hit the spot. Very good and refreshing. We ordered the following: Catfish with green beans and potato salad Klassified Wings Hushpuppies Crab Fries Crab Cakes and cabbage Mac & Cheese Sweet Potatoes Soul Rolls Let, me just say this... the food tastes like I was sitting around the table at "Grandma's House". Every dish had lots of flavor and was incredible. The Soul Roll....finger licking good. I have never had anything like this, collards, sweet potatoes and mac and cheese stuffed in a roll. A win is a win!!! So good! Here are a few tips if you go: 1.) Make a reservation if you want to dine-in. The online reservation system easy and convenient. The restaurant only accepts reservations for dine-in but you can order takeout. 2.) Parking: Street parking is available and there is a small lot on the side of the building. My recommendation: Carpool as the lot is small. 3.) Travel: I live in Virginia and it was worth the drive. Pack your patience and allow extra time especially if you are traveling on 95, 295 and the BW Parkway. Leave early so that you can make it on time for your reservation. 4.) Gratuity added to your bill (We were a party of 3)

Came here after hearing they were open and had to try them out. It was pushing 445 when I arrived and since they close at 5 I was hesitant about sitting inside so decided to order offer the phone. Ordering was quick and easy and when I arrived I was greeted and paid soon after. Other patrons where ordering as well and making conversation with owner and each other as I sat taking in the ambiance. I love the teal painted walls and black woman art displayed on them. The 12 table (24 capacity) cafe is quite dainty and I'm sure if I was here for brunch wild have a different vibe. I decided to try The District Fish Fry for $20 which consisted of deep-fried whiting and a choice of 2 sides. I went with the Southern Baked Mac and Cheese, and Cajun Fried Cabbage.  I also decided to try the Peach Bourbon Meatballs. My food came out hot well everything except for the cabbage which also has some kind of sausage in it along with peppers. Mac and cheese didn't seem like it was baked because I didn't have any crust on it and it was mostly a creamy consistency that you would find in a cheese sauce. I overheard the owner there's nothing how she sees her food and wasn't afraid of that. However, I couldn't taste much else besides salt. I quickly grabbed a drink to wash it down. Since the kitchen is visible from the dining area I observed there was no hair net being worn by the owner who was also preparing the food and the smell of grease drifted throughout. Her child was the maitre d and offered me to join in a game of uno and showed me a trick where he held the cards in his mouth which he picked up from the floor. He also kicked and chased cars and his shoes around entertaining himself as I waited for my food to be prepared while flapping on the floor from time to time and spinning change. So definitely family-friendly or at least at this time of day it was. There are some kinks that need to be ironed out and that's to be expected so I won't write them off just yet. I may decide to come back for brunch and see if there is a better vibe, ambience and food.

    Candied Sweet Potatoes
    Milli D.

Less cheese sauce on the crabby fries. Less sugar and nutmeg in the sweet potatoes. Lemonades were way too sweet. Food is quite pricey for portion size. I guess my expectations were way off.

They have no paper menus you have to scan the code & pull up on the phone.

I've driven past the…read morelocation several times and didn't know it even existed, that is; until I receive the invite for the party. Find a good event space can be quite the feat, so maybe this review will help others make their decision. The venue is located on a busy street in Glen Burnie, not to far from the community college. There is limited parking available on the street in front of the venue, but there is also a free parking garage directly across the street. When you access the venue, you are standing in what would likely be consider a waiting area. A nice sized open space attached to what I would consider a bar, but I am sure he can be used for other purposes. For the party I attended, the open space was used for a photo booth and open bar. the perfect area for your guest to occupy if they main event space is not ready for them. The ballroom itself was indeed very grand! Large, wide-open with high ceiling, the perfect space for a birthday party or even a wedding reception. Very versatile. I did use the facilities while I was there and while they were small, they were clean. The entire venue, in fact; was clean. The few staff members I did encounter during my visit were nice, although the interactions were very brief. All and all, I was very impressed by my visit to The Grand Ballroom and will definitely recommend it to others in the future who are looking for a place to host their next event.
