I agree with the other 3 star review person. None of the workers doing the construction work for Dfine. In fact one of them told us no habla ingles, indicating he only spoke Spanish. Highly suggest you find any other firm to do the actual construction. I've never had an issue with Brothers Services or Tim Kyle Electric. If you want the job done right you need a firm that has employees who are vested in the project results and speak English. Dfine's use of contractors that don't work for Dfine is a mistake from the outset. We had delays and eventually had to negotiate a final payment since not all work contracted for was completed or some services were overpriced after checking with other firms. And some work for which I requested a quote so I could check with another firm was simply done without providing a quote for which I had to pay extra for. And Ahmet, while an owner, was never a project manager. In fact there was no project manager watching over daily work. Allied Remodeling at least offers that, where one of the owners reviews the daily work and any communications. I did eventually outsource some of the work to trusted firms like Tim Kyle and Anderson Windows. Did I pay more? Yes. Did I get the work that I expected? Yes. If Dfine somehow convinces you to go with their work crew, insist that David is the primary person who deals with the work. Still not a project manager, but a cut above the rest of what they have to offer. Anyone else is a joke. The design work done by Dfine was thoughtful. The construction could have been much better. And a word about what you think you want. Marble on any part of the remodel looks great. It is however cold as hell to the touch. In the kitchen during winter the counter tops are always cold. And try backing into a cold wall in the shower. It can be shocking. You may want to consider alternatives. There are plenty of firms that can get work done in a day without using marble. My upgrade from the 1960s was better than it was. Not perfect.

They had a great selection of granite to choose from and the costs were less than what I had seen in other spots since I was purchasing direct without going through a designer or contractor. They were patient with all of my many questions! Although the project was delayed by 4 months because of the pandemic, Kelly was very patient with rescheduling everything. The staff that came to my home for both the measuring and install were highly professional. Even the local Baltimore delivery company that delivered the cabinets (CDS) had great service. Granite and cabinets both arrived with no defects at all, and look great. Even if you live in Baltimore city it is worth the drive to their show room!

Madewell Cabinetry just finished a project in my kitchen installing new cabinets where there were none before (the rest of the kitchen will come later). Tolga and Serdar were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. From the initial contact, to the estimate, to the proposal, to the install itself, it could not have been a better experience. The materials that they use are top notch, they were incredibly respectful of the space in terms of cleaning up, etc. The prices were very fair, especially for the quality of the workmanship. From the gorgeous storefront to purchase, you think you're getting a luxury product and service, but if something goes wrong, the repair team does not care, communicate or even pretend like they care or are trying to resolve it for you. They will tell you they'll get back to by the end of the day, but never have... not in 3 weeks and we have called almost daily. We purchased speed queen washer and dryer set less than a year ago and the dryer ended up needing repairs. A technician from Bray & Scarff came out to our home, diagnosed the issue and then told us it would be 3-5 days for the part to be ordered. That was all the information he gave us. We never received ANY follow up despite making many calls to their service department, manager and corporate office. Now, 3 weeks later, we still have no dryer or answers and, we have had to hang a makeshift clothes line out back to dry our clothes until this is resolved as we live a long way away to the closet laundry mat. Today there is STILL no answer on repairs, whether it is covered under warrantee or if we need to pay, which we are happy to do, assuming repair price didn't exceed the cost of the dryer, but we need an answer, ANY ANSWER. BUYER BEWARE! This company carries luxury products for sure, and their store and sales team were top notch, but their repair department is incompetent and uncaring and at this point, flat out negligent. At this point I feel we will have to just cut our losses and buy elsewhere, which is a shame since this is one of the only speed queen distributors in the area. We are sick about how much time and money we have lost purchasing from this company. Take your business somewhere where the service dept cares. This isn't the one. I don't think I've ever had to leave a bad review in my life, and I hated to do it, but this is insanity what this company is putting us thru.
