A couple weeks turned into over a month because life happens and I recently sent him an email asking him if he was still interested or what happened or if he had anything for me from our meeting I don't know what happened but communication went to nothing and I feel like I was ghosted after our first meeting, which sucks because I was really excited with all the ideas that he had given me for a remodel of my kitchen that is not incredibly user-friendly at the moment.

When you hire Craig from TrimLogic for a project, you're not hiring a contractor, but a master…read morecraftsman's. His work is incredible and stunning. I needed a custom breakfast nook built in our condo to accommodate the needs of our growing family. I shopped around a LOT and got a wide range of estimates, ideas and time frames, none of which suited our budget or needs. (Not to mention, very few contractors had examples of their work to look over.) Fortunately, I stumbled upon TrimLogic and was impressed with the pictures posted and his reviews. Craig replied to my inquiry immediately and was able to provide a reasonable estimate (especially considering the level of his work). I had a very specific idea of what I wanted and he was able to work with my design and improve it! He added the little details that really made this piece shine like matching the moulding, add little extras, installing soft shut hinges and appropriate finishes. He convinced me to stain the bench top to match my cabinets and leave the base and wainscotting white. What a brilliant idea! The bench visually flows into my kitchen cabinets without overwhelming the area with all white or all wood. He thought of all the things that I didn't even know I should be concerned about. Craig was a very respectful of my family and home during the installation process. The majority of the bench build and painting/staining occurred offsite. This meant less mess, noise and smell in my house. Craig arrived on time (or would text me if running late) and he always cleaned up every day! He was conscious to protect our walls, hardwood floor and even the outdoor area where he worked. He even worked around my toddler's nap schedule and kept the noise to a minimum during that time. I don't need to sit here and describe the quality and beauty of his work. You can see & read this for yourself in the pictures and reviews on Yelp, Facebook and his website. I really appreciated his communication promptness; he always responded to me immediately. Also, he managed his time and budget extremely well. He gave us an installation date (and length of time) and did not run over nor did he underestimate his budget. Finally, he took pride in his work and his company and made sure the process and end product lived up to his standards. My only warning? Act fast ... he books up quickly!! I would recommend him to anyone looking to restore their cabinets - professional, prompt, and friendly. He restored my kitchen, master & guest baths. Before the process started, I knew nothing about cabinet restoration - costs, timeline, etc. I went on Angie's list, Yelp & Nextdoor for recommendations. My first call was to The Wood Doctor (found on Yelp) & Loren returned my called the same day & came to my house for an estimate within 3 days of my call. He emailed my estimate within 48 hours. He was very professional and friendly, it was a good first experience with a contractor. Since I knew nothing about cabinets, I wanted at least 3 estimates. My second call was to a cabinet company recommended on Angie's List & Nextdoor. They have a person to answer all the calls and schedule an appointment, very friendly and professional but it took 2 weeks for someone to come to my house. When they finally came to my house, they said they would get my estimate to me promptly through email. 2 weeks went by & I didn't receive a bid so I called and they said they lost my paperwork. They were very apologetic but I had to wait another week for them to come out to my house again. I got an estimate that week and they were double the price of The Wood Doctor, plus they said I needed to replace some cabinet doors that the Wood Doctor said I didn't. The 3rd cabinet guy was a referral from Next Door & had good reviews on Angie's List. When I called him, it took a week for him to return my call. He came to my house & said he would get my estimate to me by email in 4 days. 3 weeks went by and I heard nothing. I called, left a message & emailed him to follow up and he never returned messages.

The Wood Doctor was recommended to us for some cabinet repair work that we need help with. I…read morecalled and spoke with the answering service, who took all of my contact information and a description of the problem. I was told that the technician would call me back. After a couple of days without a return call, I called back and spoke with the answering service again. They found my information in their system, and forwarded me to Loren, who they assured me, would call me back if the call was sent to voice mail. I left a message, and expected a call within a day or two. It's now been at least 10 days, and I've called 3 times. The last message I left with Loren, I specifically asked him to leave a message on my phone if he called and it went to voice mail. At this point, I've given up and will find another company to come work on my cabinets.
