A real mixed-bag. On the positive side: the floors and carpet look great. The materials seem to be of good quality. Vasyl, one of the subcontractors they used for the laminate, was friendly and did excellent work. The young man in their showroom floor was helpful too. The problems with this company are in communication, scheduling, and accuracy. After discussing on the phone with Joe A., I received a much higher quote than I felt we'd discussed (he seemed to be upselling me), and had to get it revised. And even after a round of revision, there was still missing information (like which rooms to work on) and wrong information (like the style of laminate) on the quote. The bid/quote process felt sloppy and unprofessional. Throughout, replies weren't timely, and I often had to bug them over and over to get any updates, and wasn't always informed there would be delays. Their carpet subcontractor (Moises at Clean Edge Flooring?) was not reachable. Personally, I will not be using them again if I need flooring work, nor would I recommend them to anyone. The product and craftspersonship itself is good; but they need significant improvement in communication, scheduling, and accuracy. read more

I wish I had a better experience with them. Let me start by saying we had laminate floors put over our existing hardwood in early August. This is what we wanted and the floors themselves look great. However, I had an inkling things wouldn't go well when I emailed and called our sales rep Joe on our agreed upon start date and was told that a date wasn't set in stone. We had previously agreed to this specific date via phone call at an earlier time because I remember he said he could move us up on his schedule following our return from a road trip. I honestly think he forgot. Luckily they were able to start our project the next day. Let me reiterate: our floors look good. That isn't my issue with Trinity. During the project, communication was iffy with Joe. It almost felt like as soon as we signed the contract and got the ball rolling, he became less communicative. And his crew worked later than expected every night. Which was challenging as we have young kids and pets and it threw things off for us. My main issue, and this is quite possibly the WORST issue (I will spare pictures because I do not want to embarrass anyone but I cannot let this go unnoticed), was the aftermath of the floors being completed and putting things back together. They installed matching brown quarter rounds around most of our bottom floor, but also put the existing white quarter rounds back. But they used some kind of gun or staple... so you can see small metal dots every 2-3 inches or so... throughout our entire first floor. It did NOT look this way when we bought our home. I thought they'd use adhesive when putting it back instead of creating visible holes. It's so ugly! And there are many corners where the quarter rounds don't even touch, they also damaged some of it while cutting it, and STILL proceeded to put it back on our walls. It just felt like they cut so many corners (pun intended) and got lazy or tried to rush the job that they forgot people live here and care about aesthetics and their home. They used adhesive on the transition slips but not enough because I can LIFT some strips, they FORGOT to glue base molding back on in our laundry room, and didn't put a HVAC register back under our sink. When we noticed all this we emailed Joe pictures, and he called them back to finish what they forgot/didn't get right. And guess what, they still forgot to glue the base molding back in our laundry room. We didn't mention the quarter rounds as I'm not sure that would've been a quick fix and after almost a week we just wanted our house back. Because we had our bottom floor bathroom done, we ran into plumbing issues when it came time to reattach our toilet. Since we had laminate layered over existing hardwood, that created an issue and we had a leaking toilet for over a month. The plumber that recently fixed it said the laminate under the toilet had bubbled in some areas because they hadn't bought the proper equipment to factor in the added height. Again, floors look great. Everything that came after was a headache and makes me wish we avoided them from the get-go. Eventually we will find someone to repair our quarter rounds around our entire bottom floor. Or fix it ourselves because some of the craftsmanship looks DIY anyway. I really wanted to avoid writing this review, but I felt so strongly about this experience that I just had to share in the hopes that this'll help someone think twice before going with Trinity Flooring. read more

So many problems . The owner and employees are wonderful. Just great....but their subcontractors who did the work did terrible jobs. Carpet installation was horrible. There were problems with the carpet itself as well. Trinity paid for an independent company to assess and results were that several areas needed to be repaired/replaced. Hardwood floor refinishing was fair. New flooring required repairs and finally, after 8 months, was removed and replaced. Again, I couldn't be happier with customer service and that's why I hate giving this honest review. read more

We worked with Trinity Flooring on a couple of relatively small projects. We met Kelly, Vinnie, and Richard. I must say that everyone has been exceedingly easy to work with. They worked with our budget, making very sensible suggestions to keep the cost within our budget on both projects. Sometimes the most important tell-tale is when something doesn't go perfectly, and how it is handled. We had a very minor hiccup with our carpet installation that we did not realize until the installation had been completed. When we told Trinity Flooring about it, they immediately scheduled for it to be taken care of, and made sure that we were happy with the results. I should point out that on another project we had with Trinity Flooring, we had a couple of concerns, and so Kelly and Vinnie went to supervise the installation process to make sure that it was taken care of properly by the installers (since you wouldn't be able to see it after the installation). You really can't ask for more than that! I would absolutely recommend discussing the project you have with Trinity Flooring. They really stay on top of things, and are truly professional, friendly, and helpful throughout the process. read more

Buying a new house in a development, I figured our options for finishes would be pretty limited. I was wrong! Vinnie helped us pick out tile, counters, and flooring that absolutely exceeded our expectations. The house looks custom and reflects our taste and personality. The bid came in fair, and they were the most responsive of any company we asked to bid our project. I had scheduled to have a new floor put in my bathroom. The sales person scheduled it for a Tuesday morning. Monday evening in preperation I tried to shutoff the supply water line for the toilet and it leaked, I got a plumber to come out on overtime to fix it. No one showed up for the Tuesday install. The sales person scheduled it for the next day, no one showed up and I could not get a hold of the sales person. I went to the Trinity office complained to the office manager, Vinnie, who got someone out the next day and did a great job. I had to pay an plumber big bucks to come out on overtime when I did not need to. This is the second time I had this experience with Trinity and the same sales person and had to contact Vinnie to get things done. I'll never use Trinity again. read more

Trinity did my flooring and my tile back-splash. Both were done well. The flooring was installed December 6 & 7 and had some minor things that needed to be fixed - all was just finalized on February 15th. I felt that was a long time to get some trim pieces fixed and some matching registers. The tile looks good, but my handyman had to do some maneuvering with the outlets as they weren't cut as perfect as they should have been - which I did not know until a week later when the handyman came to install all the electrical. They were great out of the gate, but over two months waiting to get the job complete and having to call them to tell them this or that wasn't done and make time to meet people several times to get it done is not really acceptable. read more

We used Trinity Flooring to help transform our house by staining existing hardwoods, adding new hardwoods, tiling the fireplace and replacing all of the existing carpet with either new carpet or hardwoods. We were thoroughly impressed with the hardwood floor installation/refinishing project. They successfully matched the existing hardwoods to the new hardwoods seamlessly. Joe was very professional and always attentive to resolve issues as they arose. After unforeseen circumstances with our carpet installation, Joe remained cognizant throughout the entire process until all of the issues were properly resolved. They ensured our satisfaction with the carpet installation, including adding transitions as needed to properly complete the project. They also did a great job following through on the fireplace tile project, including touching up trims as needed. We appreciated Joe's immediate response time throughout the process. read more

We got our entire new home done with Trinity. Countertops, Tile, Wood Flooring, installation, all of it. I started reaching out regarding the hardwood boards moving and chipped edges at year 2, was told that's what floors do. Reached out at year 3, got the manufacturer involved as our floors were creaking and squeaking everywhere, blamed it on installation (trinity). Continued reaching out the the manager Vinny and eventually he came out and with stop squeak screws, made our floor even worse. I would call and text over and over trying to get some help, each time to just be told we were beyond our one year warranty. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOUR EXPERIENCE WILL BE LIKE IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH YOUR FLOOR DOWN THE ROAD, READ THIS AND MOVE ON TO ANOTHER FLOORING COMPANY. I'm now stuck with having to replace a 5 year old floor (1000+ sq ft) because the installation provided by Trinity was poor. They know it, the repair people they sent out that work for them said it, every other indy contractor we had to come look and potentially repair said it, but they won't help you. Please, please do not book with these people. This is the most unprofessional experience I've ever had dealing with work for my property. I am writing this review weeks after the job was supposed to be done, and it's still not finished. The person who was supposed to be in charge of the crew, Matt, never had any idea what his crew was doing. There seemed to be zero communication. He swore up and down that the job could be completed in 2 days, since I told him that the plumber was coming to reset the toilets for my tenants on a specific day and time. On the first day they were to begin work, he assured me they would arrive between 9 and 10:30. 10:30 comes and no communication from Matt. I had to reach out to him to get an update. He could give me no clear answer. The installer did not arrive at the property until 1:30. When they arrived they did not introduce themselves, appeared very stressed, and created a huge mess. They didn't put drop cloth down and muddied up the floors. They chipped the paint on my porch from throwing heavy materials around carelessly. The next day, same thing. Matt promised they would be there at 7am. They did not arrive until 10. This floor installer literally doesn't even knock, he just runs upstairs like he owns the place. They didn't seal the grout or put the strip that separates the tile and carpet back on, and they are telling me that can't be done for another 2 weeks. PLEASE AVOID TRINITY FLOORING. read more

Unfortunately I did not have even a fair experience with this place. The builder of my home used this establishment to install the floors, sink and countertops. Although the work done with these materials were pretty good (the labor does not represent my rating), the lack of communication was enough for me to almost stroke out to get my closing date. I don't want to bust any individual out but MATTHEW is the worst. If you work with this guy, please ask for another person. I went in to choose the materials and they said there would be a design consultant to help me with materials . .instead I got Matthew . . . the sales guy. I showed him a picture of my inspiration and he came in the room with materials that were nowhere near what was on the picture. I kept showing him the picture. When I finally picked out all the materials there was a miscommunication on the wood being hardwood when I explicitly said i was looking for laminate. So him being a sales person, couldn't find what I wanted in laminate and instead showed me hardwood not telling me it was hardwood and thus me signing for something with me leaving thinking i was getting laminate. When I got the change quote it was 60% more . .which started off a chain of events that led to me having to pick out something in the 11th hour. They also told me at the 11th hour that the tile I chose for the bathroom wasn't available so we had to switch that too. Absolutely terrible. Go with somebody else (fortunately there are many other places to choose from besides this). Also, my neighbor who had the same build and used this same company also had issues. If you have no choice and absolutely need to use these guys, please ask for Vincenzo. He at least tried a little to make things right. read more

Trinity Flooring was easy to work with, totally accommodating to my budget and schedule. John the owner went above and beyond for me when any other man would have taken advantage. I cannot recommend this place enough. Their top quality selection of materials is varied in style so you're sure to find what you're looking for when building or customizing your home. Their installers do quality work. I cannot recommend Trinity Flooring more, 5 stars isn't enough. read more
