Hired them to come out, gave the price, we paid the 1st payment. Tech came to measure. Then was canceled due to my refusal to text/email my drivers license for them to keep on file. As a home owner wanting repairs, and willing to show my lic day of, they canceled even though they initially said past 3 day mark and can't cancel. I was really hoping to work with them to get a new tub. Something about needing my drivers lic to pull permits, then that story changed 3 times. Shows how much a contract is worth if the business decides they want to void it. Update: After speaking with the owner, I'm updating the review. The sales teams will be getting some extra training during the set up process. I'm sure normally asking for a drivers lic to check ownership of the house is common, and I would have been happy to do so while there were in my house. Being told later for 3 different needs sent up too many red flags. They will retrain, and make sure to ask for drivers lic while going over contract from now on. Again, was really wanting to work with them to get a new tub. read more

Through the process any questions were answered quickly, the girls in the office were fantastic and very nice. I was dreading doing a remodeling project due to horrible previous experiences, and was a bit hesitant about communication due to some past reviews, I am glad i listened to my representative I would have a great experience and any hiccups would be quickly resolved. With a bit of my input regarding colors and hardware, they helped create a design that opened up the kitchen with amazing lighting. My house now feels brand new, with a timeless design and open flow that is so much more welcoming. Best of all, the work was complete in about 10 business days. My wife, left a review on Yelp about our kitchen renovation experience with this company 8 months ago, and there was no reply to it at the time. Now, 8 months later, my wife gets an email to notify a response to her review. Now the owner suddenly decides to respond to that review. At this point, it doesn't come across as genuine. It feels more like an attempt to cover their tracks and repair their reputation rather than take real accountability. That same lack of accountability is exactly what we experienced during our kitchen renovation. In the response, the owner claimed among other things that are inaccurate. But the big one for me is her statement regarding ownership being present on-site. That is simply not accurate. Only male workers were ever on the property during the project. Based on how the company presents itself as woman-owned, that statement raises serious questions about its accuracy. There was no communication from the owner at all until issues began to surface and we started failing inspections, at which point we had to escalate and report the problems. This delayed response doesn't change anything. If anything, it just reinforces our original experience and concerns. Ma'am, sometimes its just better to take the L and move on, other than to always want to be right. BUYER BEWARE Kitchens Today sold us a premium kitchen remodel experience after our home was affected by Hurricane Milton. Our experience was FAR from premium. Things we were told: Our kitchen would be done in 4 weeks Our (less than) 200 square foot kitchen took four and a half months to complete. This included 3 different subcontractors working on our kitchen. It also included the company ripping our kitchen out 3 different times after it was (almost) complete. Our kitchen would be worked on by professionals, be overseen by a licensed plumber, and PASS INSPECTION Our kitchen failed the plumbing inspection (twice) and the electrical inspection. Frank, the plumber that apparently holds the plumbing license NEVER EVEN LAID EYES ON OUR PROJECT UNTIL AFTER THE FIRST FAILED INSPECTION. Even after that he was only informed after I requested to speak to him. Apparently the project never came across his desk because the company never attached themselves to our storm permit. The project manager Tyler worked on the electrical part that failed the inspection and admitted he was too "lazy" to make it up to code. Mind you - the only thing he had to do was purchase the correct plugs for the outlets they added. This company is a woman led business with a female owner that is highly involved. I requested to meet with Danielle multiple times in this project. It wasn't until things were very bad that she got involved. When she called me she was reading notes to "get caught up". The company does seem to have an actual "woman led business designation". I can see why. The company is from Kenneth City and performs their own work They do not even have a branded building in Kenneth City. Their address leads to a generic warehouse with a different company name. The company also does not seem to perform their own work. They instead have "contracts" with subcontractors. This matters because if things go sideways, they have to wait until someone's schedule frees up to come and fix it. Thank God we were on a storm permit, or our final product would have been a subpar kitchen that would have caused us major headaches in 5 years. They used a wrong drain, did not have a proper vent for the sink, and did not put on nail plates before they closed up the drywall. We paid $30k for a premium kitchen experience. This was far from that. If you've hired Kitchens Today and your work is already done or in process please do yourself a favor and GET AN INSPECTION. read more

Absolutely horrendous experience. So much went wrong going to write in bullet points: -In March contracted a bathroom & closet remodel being told no permit needed. Sales team promised me one thing, I signed contract with $10k deposit. They took $15000. Never heard from them until 4months later. -OPs team came in months later to tell me the permit (same one I was told wasn't needed) was rejected by the city and they were still waiting on that. In addition, none of what was promised by sales team could be done. Company actually tried to schedule demo without ever providing a rendering or having me pick out fixtures. -Sales guy who told me everything they could do then came back, told me I had cheap cabinets and it would add $12k to the cost. I then asked for owner to call me. -48+hrs later I had to call the owner bc she had no idea what was going on in her own company and was "reviewing the notes." -5months after payment, owner came out, offered to refund money for bathroom & if I wanted to give them 2nd chance for closet. I said yes, my mistake. She promised me a price. -two days later the now 2nd head of OPs calls me & tells me it is $500 more than quoted. Blamed the fact that I live in a condo, which owner said they have worked in plenty before & I didn't change addresses in the middle of the project. -was asked to give one day, a second day just in case for closet install. They worked 4hrs on day 1 (I have sign in sheets) then made me sit at home the next days until 6.40pm for them to provide the worst quality closet I've ever seen. -showed up with no drawer pulls picked out. Owner text with "see if she can purchase them so I don't have a long warehouse wait". I have screenshot of this message. -the workers broke my fan pull and didn't say anything, tried to hide it. Also propped their tools against my wallpapered wall and when they tried to clean the wall, ruined my wallpapered I can't replace. The drawers they installed are STOCK kitchen cabinets (I know this to be true because I had a professional cabinet maker come quote me to fix the closet). -owner knew I was dissatisfied & didn't bother to reach out. Only responded after I sent photos. All photos attached are their finished work. This was a 6month process with the company. Chipped wood, metal joint brackets, random pieces of wood nailed into the wall, random paint strokes and what looks like attempts at caulking. This is not buyer remorse. This is a company I would recommend staying AWAY from. They offered to come fix it in a months time but they have already had two chances & I cannot risk more damage to personal property. read more

Let me be crystal clear: Kitchens Today deserves a zero-star review. We requested a refund because they've breached their own contract with missed deadlines and broken promises. I've never felt so misled by a company. They've dodged our concerns, dismissed our issues, and basically just tried to argue that they've already spent the money so we should just deal with it. Bottom line: They come off like crooks and liars, and we're ready to walk away and take legal action if necessary.
